This was our 1st stay at this hotel and we will definitely be back! The room was huge and so adorable...very clean and well taken care of. The bathroom was fairly large as well. We really enjoyed the fireplace and the fresh morning muffins 🧁☕️ I can't wait to return in the spring so we can sit out on the deck in the warmer weather. Thank you for a lovely weekend!

Absolutely Beautiful. We drove to Vermont from Maryland and totally enjoyed our drive. We were so pleased when we arrived at The Manchester View. We stayed in a King Room with a fireplace. The room was so cozy and super clean. The attention to detail was spot on. We enjoyed a fire every night during our stay, each morning staff cleaned the fireplace and staked wood for a new fire. South Vermont is delightful!

It was the perfect little getaway for my wife and I for our first year anniversary, we loved all the little touches, we truly appreciated the recommendations for places to visit and eat, we plan on visiting again in the future

definitely some pros and cons here ... we stayed in the norman rockwell suite and after two weeks of traveling in one room chain hotels - what a pleasure to spread out - comfy chairs, fireplace and a good book .... very roomy ... a little home away from home...

definitely some pros and cons here ... we stayed in the norman rockwell suite and after two weeks of traveling in one room chain hotels - what a pleasure to spread out - comfy chairs, fireplace and a good book .... very roomy ... a little home away from home on the negative side -- it needs some refreshing .... wallpaper peeling in the bathroom, loose tiles, crack in the wall in bedroom and hole in living room behind the front door, no room/name number on the front door. I know old mom & pops are tough to keep up, but this was such a nice motel, you'd hate to see the maintenance fall behind and ruin the place. besides all that - i'd still stay again - the breakfast was just a chain motel breakfast done more personalized (and the cinnamon muffin, warmed and melted butter - yum) - if the weather was nicer we'd have used the porch to enjoy the mountain views and the other thing i loved was the heat (from radiators) - no listening to a hvac unit popping on and off all night all in all -a good stay- i hope it stays as nice as it can be

I'm so pleased to write this review. I was torn between TMV and a couple of other places. I'm so glad I chose TMV! The view from your deck is spectacular. Rooms are exceedingly clean and spacious. We stayed in Pearl Buck Room, a no pet room by choice. The grounds are well manicured and maintained. The pool is small but adequate as was seating around the pool. It's a 3? mile drive into town. Your breakfast choices are submitted the night before and include choice of muffins, juices, fruit, yogurt. Would have loved a cooked to order hot breakfast, but this worked. My only suggestion would be to replace the peeling wallpaper in the Kipling/Buck hallways. A coat of paint or cover it with shiplap. Done! Would absolutely stay again if in the area.

We stayed in one of the suites, which I would definitely do again. They are very spacious and the living room and deck make it feel much more like an apartment versus hotel room. The bed and furnishings are very comfortable, and the property was spotless and well cared for....

The bed and furnishings are very comfortable, and the property was spotless and well cared for. The property is dog friendly and we enjoyed being able to walk our dog on the spacious grounds. A basic continental breakfast is included in the room rate. The staff was very friendly. There was a glitch with my bill and it was quickly resolved. The property was full but found it to be quiet and relaxing. We would definitely stay at this property again.

Breakfast was mostly bagels and sweet rolls and so so coffee. But if you are traveling just for the breakfasts you might as well stay home. I hope we get to go back to Manchester some day and I would definitely stay at this place again.

Our stay was excellent! The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was perfect, tub was amazing. Check in was easy, the morning breakfast was nice and very convenient . We didn’t want to leave. Definitely will be coming back as soon as possible!

We stayed in a lovely and spacious suite, complete with fireplace and balcony. The staff was extremely warm and accommodating, and the breakfast options (baked muffins!) were quite good. I hope we can stay again some day.

Perfect retreat to explore the local area. Room was well equipped with a verandah with a view. Pleasant and helpful staff who gave us a discount voucher for the sky drive. Breakfast is pre-ordered night before. No restaurants within walking distance

We stayed in October 2023 and had a wonderful time. We had our small dog with us. The rooms are a little dated but very clean and comfortable. The views are outstanding and the grounds are immaculate. We really loved our room that has a big private deck and a wood burning fireplace. They refresh the wood and set it up to be lit each evening. A fresh and delicious continental breakfast is included. We went after the Columbus Day holiday so it was very quiet and peaceful. Also, a short drive to great shopping and restaurants.
