The internet wi-fi didn’t work but the front desk informed everyone and refunded the resort fee to compensate. Two free drinks as a welcome gift is a nice touch. Very memorable experience

Had a great time at the StayPineapple in downtown Chicago. The hotel is perfectly located for some urban exploration of The Loop. Most tourist hotspots were within walking distance, and the subway (just a 2-minute walk away from the hotel) made it easy enough to visit the attractions further out....

Had a great time at the StayPineapple in downtown Chicago. The hotel is perfectly located for some urban exploration of The Loop. Most tourist hotspots were within walking distance, and the subway (just a 2-minute walk away from the hotel) made it easy enough to visit the attractions further out. During our 4-night stay we had no complaints about the room either. While the bed was not oversized, it was comfortable, and the air conditioning was efficient in cooling down or warming up the room. The building shows its age, especially in the bathroom facilities, but – at least for us – that only adds to the charm and character of this hotel. We did not try the breakfast or the restaurant, so no comment there. Overall we had a 5-star experience and the hotel lived up perfectly to our expectations. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

Great experience at Staypineapple Chicago! Easy check-in, clean room, perfect location in the loop, and excellent customer service. Really enjoyed being so close to everything in the loop as we were seeing a show in the theater district. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Normally our favorite hotel in Chicago. Centrally located with a lot of character. Unfortunately, this time we were given a room right next to the elevators which sounded like B-52 bomber flying low overhead. Ridiculously loud!! Excellent location at a very fair price. Staff was incredibly friendly, smiling and helpful Took advantage of the "Park & Play" deal and got relatively inexpensive valet parking. Excellent location at a very fair price. Staff was incredibly friendly, smiling and helpful Took advantage of the "Park & Play" deal and got relatively inexpensive valet parking. Appreciated the inhouse bar and restaurant, snacks for purchase and free drink upon arrival. Also made use of the free refillable pineapple water bottle. Loved the top notch cloud-like bedding (we spend our summers in Sweden and thanks to our time there, we always sleep under individual duvets). We were also able to easily store our luggage for a few hours after check-out. It was a perfect place for our quick excursion to Chicago for a show; have already reommended this hotel to our friends!

Location was excellent! The history of building was really interesting, and the Atwood restaurant was always bustling with activity. The rooms were very comfortable and the front desk staff was great in answering any questions. I highly recommend this Iconic hotel!

We stay every year when we visit Chicago! The hotel is great, the rooms are very comfortable! Christkindlmarket is just down the street,shopping everywhere! Close to theaters! Just an excellent experience! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable!

Location Superb, Cleanliness on point, Altwood and the team there great, However when we asked for extra towels and wash clothes never happened. When we checked in William did not give us our cup came with package. Also did not give us our complimentary drink tickets. Thankfully I knew we were to get these things and later asked for them.

The location was fantastic. The bar closed early so we didn't get our free drinks. The bathroom could use some attention, sink drained slow and the shower head had some build-up causing poor spray pattern. Walking distance to cloud gate and theaters!9

A truly beautiful hotel with super comfortable beds. We visited Chicago to go to the Christkindl Market, just a block away. It was an easy walk to most anything in the Loop. Breakfast at The Atwood was delicious! Reservations were needed but easy to make immediately on the opentable.com site.
