Another wonderful stay at this Hotel.Myself and my wife spent 3 nights here last week.Everything from the staff which i have deliberately put first to the owner Niall was first class.The food both in the main Restaurant and the Bar was top class as always. The addition of the new Thermal Suite Area is a hugh bonus to the facilities at the hotel.Its 20euro per person for 90 minutes and for the sheer relaxation its money well spent. The setting with the Lake on its door step surrounded by the mountains with deer practically roaming up to the door is beautiful, world class scenery. If its sheer relaxation you want with beautiful food and scenery, caring staff and management, look no further. We are already planning our next visit to tjis wonderful hotel!!

Love this hotel. Modern rooms and amenities but the atmosphere and decor brings you back to posh hotels of yesteryear. All staff were very friendly yet professional. The food was delightful and you must treat yourselves to the bread and butter pudding for desert. (We did-twice)! I need a recipe!...

Rooms extremely clean and gorgeous views castle ruins and lakes of Killarney ( from our balcony room). Would stay again in heartbeat and hope to in the summer.

Just back from a 2 night stay in this fabulous hotel! Had a fantastic stay and all the excellent reviews about this hotel are totally justified. Every staff member was so friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. A lot of the staff we spoke to in the bar have worked in the hotel for over 25 years, which says a lot in this day and age. The food was excellent, from the fine dining experience to the varied choices available for breakfast. We had a super room with jacuzzi bath overlooking the lake. The bed was so comfortable and I can honestly say I had the best nights sleep I’ve ever had in a hotel. Will definitely return!!

Spacious comfortable clean room. Great view. Great breakfast. Nice staff. Excellent service. I also enjoyed dinner and drinks. In the mornings there were deer on the hotel grounds which added to the view and the experience. Would love to come back here. Everything 5 stars+

I can’t find anything negative to say. We booked a five night special with breakfast and one dinner included the main dining room. That dinner was incredible. I ordered from the daily special menu - local venison. Outstanding. We were given a free beer or wine at check-in. The recently opened thermal suite is 20euro pp for 90 minutes. It has breathtaking views from the outdoor thermal infinity pool. There is also a hot tub, relaxation chairs inside, two saunas, a steam room, and multiple experience showers. We have a lake facing room and believe it’s worth the extra money.

Where to begin? Set in an idyllic spot with views of the lake, a medieval castle, surrounded by great walks, it is a beautiful historic building, with fabulous customer service, and great food. The hotel is a bit out of town, and the town seems to have a great vibe...

Where to begin? Set in an idyllic spot with views of the lake, a medieval castle, surrounded by great walks, it is a beautiful historic building, with fabulous customer service, and great food. The hotel is a bit out of town, and the town seems to have a great vibe - so you could walk into town if you wanted to go to a pub, and catch a taxi back. However, we were happy to stay in the hotel in the evenings, we found the bar to be so lovely, reasonable prices, and the bar menu fantastic. We loved the wings! One evening, the bar hosted the O'Donoghue Sisters who sang and played live music on a variety of instruments. We were inclined to go to bed but Jerome encouraged us to stay. It was an amazing night - not overly crowded, just perfect. One afternoon we ate the scones, which were delicious - with lemon curd, strawberry jam and clotted cream!! I definitely recommend the scones. The room was spacious and the breakfast incredible (a variety of buffet hot and cold items as well as a choice from an a la carte menu). The customer service at this hotel we found to be superb. I highly recommend this gorgeous property.

We spent two days at the Lake Hotel and had booked the Anniversary Package directly from the hotel . (Tip: keep on checking the website for later special deals. I cancelled my original booking and re-booked with a better deal). We received a room upgrade from a Deluxe Lake View to a Master Deluxe Lake View. There was ample parking and nice grounds to take little strolls. The staff were all very friendly and the breakfast buffet was excellent. We took one meal in the Lake Side Bistro and had the Anniversary dinner in the Castle Lough Restaurant. Both dinners were excellent and the staff attentive.
