My significant other and I celebrated our two year anniversary at the Hythe in January and had the most wonderful experience! Shout outs to Rowan and Leslie at check-in and to Chris and Charlie at the concierge …. You made our stay magical! From the moment we arrived at ballet through to check in, the amazing suite, and the whole hotel experience we were in awe. Being in the Jacuzzi outdoors in the freezing cold weather was the cherry on top of an already amazing stay. Retiring to our room and sitting in front of the fireplace was even better! Thank you so much for being such a special part of our anniversary trip!

My husband and I decided to stay at the Hythe Luxury Collection during the holiday season. The location of this hotel is fantastic, and the staff provide exceptionally friendly service. What makes our stays even more delightful is seeing our old friends working at the bar, Nick from Illinois and Alex from Macedonia. Over the years, we have come to know these staff members well, and it is an extra treat to be recognized and engage in pleasant conversations with them. The hotel offers a wonderful breakfast buffet, along with top-notch restaurants, bars, and a market. The quality of the food is superb, and while the prices are on the higher end, it is expected given the location and the effort to source fresh ingredients. Seating could be a bit chaotic especially on weekends. Marriott Bonvoy elite members can opt in for breakfast, and I highly recommend it over 1000 Bonvoy points. The amenities are excellent. The hotel conveniently takes our skis to Lionshead, saving us the hassle, even though it is only a short five-minute walk. The gym is well-equipped with various options, and there are refreshments like fruits and bottled water available. Valet parking, luggage services, and the check-in/check-out processes are all very streamlined and efficient. We had a little problem in using an Amex gift card. Julia, the front-desk manager has been instrumental in communication even after the checkout. Overall, our experience at the Hythe Luxury Collection was outstanding, and we will definitely return over and over again.

This was my first stay at a Luxury Collection property, and frankly, I expected more. Yes, the property looks amazing and has a great vibe. However, the level of service didn’t match our expectations. Understand that we are not the typical, target clientele for this property. We are a hard working middle class couple from rural Ohio who really extended ourselves to experience this resort. We took advantage of off season rates to celebrate our anniversary in a special way. Unfortunately, nothing else was priced for the off season. $60 valet parking. $50 resort fee. Expensive dining. Expensive spa services. We could have easily spent 2-3x our room rate in incidentals. Off season should be off season discounts across the board. I never did get a clear indication as to what the resort fee was offering me. Overall, the service was lackluster. No one went out of their way to make us They feel welcome or special. The staff seemed very cold and dismissive.

First time visiting Vail. This hotel is beautiful. Room was a a little small but manageable. Staff was very nice and interactive. Great breakfast and the bar on the second floor was also very nice. We will definitely make plans to return in the spring

Highly recommend.

What a fabulous hotel! Our room was small but very nice with a balcony that overlooked one of the vail hills. The lobby is beautiful and they have a great outdoor area with two long large fire pits where everyday they have smores for anyone who wants to make one....

The lobby is beautiful and they have a great outdoor area with two long large fire pits where everyday they have smores for anyone who wants to make one. We did not swim or use the spa services but they had a nice pool. We were very impressed with the breakfast- a large assortment of fruits and berries, made to order eggs or omelettes, fresh squeezed orange juice and bacon available every day. We liked it so much we stayed an extra night.

Hotel bouncing around in Vail after the Ritz-Carlton and we settled in here at The Hythe Vail. We were greeted by SEAN at the valet area and checked us in to the lobby and took care of our rental vehicle. Since we are Ambassador Elite members we were upgraded to a residence suite by the lovely GEORGIA, who checked us in at the front desk. Beautiful room with all the amenities way too much to list. An absolutely beautiful view of the ski slopes with snow still on the runs. Last day of the ski season is Sunday April 21. A large heated pool and court yard also adorn our view. We ventured over to the Revel Lounge located on the second floor where we sat for a few cocktails and a light dinner to share. Two apps of the Wild Game meatballs, consisting of Elk and Lamb in tomato sauce and a large, Bavarian beer pretzel to share. After those two apps, we shared a cheese burger with these additive string French Fries that we couldn't stop eating. It was so good. Manning the bar was BRYCE who is an attentive bartender and is a new comer to Vail himself. Great conversations, good info, and loves Vail!!! Overall, great night sleep in a comfy king sized bed, clean, attractive, roomy attached living room, dining room and kitchen!!! Superb mountain view. And great service. Craving an unforgettable mountain experience that blends adventure with luxury? Look no further than The Hythe, a Luxury Collection Resort in Vail, Colorado. This mountainside gem with European Swiss-inspired rituals was the perfect place to stay for the Taste of Vail, 2024. We arrived at The Hythe & pulled underneath the gorgeous porte-cochere made up of massive wooden beams, cobblestones & antler chandeliers. We were greeted by the valet attendants who readily assisted and helped us get our bags & ski gear onto the luggage trolly. The Hythe's lobby reflected the hotel's overall aesthetic: a blend of alpine comfort & modern luxury. There were large, curved sofas - perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure - surrounding a gorgeous fireplace. There was local artwork and design elements that showcased Vail's unique character. The lobby enticed us to linger and soak in the atmosphere; it's a stunning space. The check-in desks were discreetly tucked away in a chic space. Upon check-in, our dog Forbes was given treats by the lovely hotel staff (The Hythe is dog friendly), this was a great touch and made us feel right at home. We stayed in a Larger Guest Room: 1 King with Terrace & Firepit. Inside the room, a luxurious king-size bed beckoned and nothing beat curling up in The Hythe's plush Frette robes and getting a restful night's sleep. The in-room amenities were a delightful touch – Lavazza coffee ensured a perfect start to each day and Le Chemin by Byredo bath products were wonderful for the skin & hair. The 55-inch flat screen offered the ability to stream Netflix and MAX. The room felt like an extension of the breathtaking mountain scenery as we could step directly out onto the terrace and enjoy the mountains and crisp air. The firepit on the terrace offered the perfect opportunity to unwind after a day of exploring Vail (and Forbes got to enjoy the terrace with us). One of my fav offerings at The Hythe was the Après Deck where we found ourselves enjoying complimentary s’mores that they offer daily. Other resort amenities included year-round outdoor pool, a complimentary gear-lending library, Vail’s only Himalayan Salt Therapy Lounge, 24-hour room service, fitness center, ski valet and more. We had easy access to the slopes via the Eagle Bahn Gondola which was a 5-minute walk from the hotel. We also had access to other winter activities like ice skating in Lionshead Village. During our stay at The Hythe, we dined at Revel Lounge for dinner. Revel Lounge is where après culture thrives with their hand-crafted cocktails & their après inspired cuisine with Colorado flair. Our server Bria had the sweetest demeanor and made us feel right at home. I started with a Cowboy Downhill cocktail made with tequila, cardamaro, lime juice, pomegranate, and agave. I loved this cocktail (so much so, I went back the following day for another) - it was refreshing and had a lovely spiced cinnamon rim that added a sweetness to each sip. The Prosciutto and Burrata Salad was made with arugula, preserved black walnut, fig jam, pistachios, & aged balsamic. This was the best burrata I've had in a while. The cheese was cool and milky; it paired beautifully with the salty prosciutto, sweet jam, & bitter arugula. The texture variation of this dish was top notch: silky cheese, fluffy greens, the delicate chew of cured meat, sticky jam, & the crunch of nuts. I could go on, but I digress, do not miss out on the Prosciutto and Burrata Salad! The Revel Raclette Epicurean Experience was made with elk tips, griddle smash potatoes, & gremolata. The piping hot raclette was served over the elk & potatoes right at the table. The melty cheese was salty & thick and made for epic cheese pulls. The salty cheese complemented the tender, gamey elk and soft, buttered potatoes. The Pretzel was served with spicy mustard & beer cheese sauce. The pretzel was massive, hot, soft, & generously salted. The beer cheese was my favorite for dipping. The Grilled Artichokes were served with lemon butter & Revel aioli. We dined at another one of the hotel's dining concepts, Margie’s Haas for breakfast. Margie’s Haas menu offers elevated home cooking. The Chicken and Waffle Sandwich was made with buttermilk chicken, pickle, & maple hot honey. These cutie breakfast sandwiches had sweet, savory, & tangy elements. The mini-Belgian waffles were fluffy & sweet. The fried chicken had a lightly crisp coating with a juicy interior. The salt and tang of the pickle cut through the richness of the chicken and waffle. The Colorado Miner's Omelet was made with smoked brisket, hatch chili, chorizo, cheddar, and pepper jack cheese, served with toast and herb roasted potatoes. The Colorado Miner's Omelet was my favorite - a hearty and flavorful dish! All the ingredients were delicately wrapped in perfectly cooked, fluffy eggs. The brisket and chorizo provided a smoky and savory base that was balanced by the heat of the roasted peppers from the Hatch chili and creaminess of the cheese. The Baked Blueberry Skillet for 2 was made with baked blueberry pancakes, butter, maple syrup, & mascarpone whipped cream. A brunch masterpiece! This decadent pancake was massive. Due to the baking method, the pancake was crisp around the edges with a densely, fluffy interior. The thick pancake had a generous number of juicy blueberries throughout that burst in our mouths with sweet tartness. The rich mascarpone whipped cream added a touch of elegance. The Mountain Ration Grab & Go had wonderful coffee, breakfast burritos, and fruit bowls (to name a few). We grabbed breakfast burritos one morning and enjoyed them back in the room on the terrace. This was such a nice way to enjoy the morning and the chorizo burrito was fabulous! I highly recommend The Hythe to anyone looking for a fabulous getaway in Vail.

Really great property and a great location on Lions Head Village for skiing at Vail. Not exactly ski in & out but pretty close to it. The Hythe was recently renovated and is very nice. Staff, from the front desk to the bell station to the restaurants and housekeeping are all very good and extremely nice. The hotel operates a shuttle service around town so we are glad we did not have a car. For skiing, the True North ski shop at the hotel will also valet your skis to and from the gondola which is just a 5 minute walk. EPIC Pass holders receive a 20% discount when booking. We were pleasantly surprised that by booking with an Amex card the very nice breakfast buffet was covered.
