We are currently staying at the Billi and I'm so glad we chose to stay here. We booked for 3 nights flying up from Perth whilst visiting family in Perth. The reviews are spot on. This place is not big but has beautiful tropical gardens and a lovely pool. Booking was straight forward and we were greeted by the receptionist Stephanie who was lovely and offered us an upgrade to a suite. We were considering Cable Beach Resort, but thought it was overpriced and relying on its reputation. Upon inspection Cable Beach Resort looks tired and a bit run down and the gardens were over run and appeared unkempt. I would highly recommend the Billi for anyone spending some time in Broome.

We cannot say enough great things about our stay at this resort! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our experience was nothing short of perfect. Their warm welcome, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality truly made us feel at home. Every single staff member we encountered was friendly, professional, and eager to help with anything we needed. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful, but it's the incredible staff that really sets it apart. Everyone was attentive and always had a smile on their face. We left feeling so refreshed, relaxed, and completely taken care of. Thank you to the amazing team at The Billi Resort for making this a truly unforgettable stay—we can’t wait to return!

The Billi is a slice of paradise. It’s peaceful, tropical and perfect for a getaway. The rooms have amazing facilities and everything is so well maintained. The owners work onsite and ensure your stay is perfect. I would recommend and I will be returning.

From the moment we arrived, shortly before 11 am, we knew booking this place was a grave mistake. After a grueling journey from Europe to Broome, all we wanted was a bit of consideration, as we were set to join an expedition ship the next morning. Yet, when we asked if we could check into our room early as we were very tired, the ladies at reception were completely inflexible. Despite the check-out time being 10 am, they informed us that we might have to wait until 3 pm for the rooms to be cleaned. No effort to accommodate us, just a hollow promise of an email if a room was ready sooner. A decent service would have prepared a room as a courtesy. ( We were ready to pay a supplement ) Left with no choice, we thought we could at least wait in the house coffee shop. To our dismay, we were told that there is no catering service at this so-called "resort." Only self-catering. This is absurd for a resort, which is supposed to be a haven of recreation, dining, and superior amenities. Instead, we were offered the chance to hire a car from the "resort" because the nearest supermarket isn’t within walking distance. However, we were informed that no extra insurance could be purchased. In case of an accident, we would be on the hook for 3500 AUD ourselves. Our credit card, which includes insurance coverage, was not accepted. With no proper waiting area available – neither indoors nor outdoors, except for an uncomfortable bench outside the reception or by the pool in full sun – we had to wait at a neighboring hotel that had a café offering beverages and meals. Ultimately, we only got into our studio 10 min before 3 PM. Flexibility: zero points. Poor customer service. Studio No. 9 was not only adjacent to the lobby but also faced the street and the parking lot. The furniture was stained and outdated. Also in this room there was no internet connection possible. This place cannot be called a resort and is extremely overpriced. Staying here was an unequivocal mistake.

We loved our stay at Billi resort. The pool is so so peaceful, we went there each morning and had it to ourselves. The scenery is so tropical full of palm trees and other greenery. Felt like we were in Indonesia. Friendly helpful staff. A pleasant surprise that guests have access to free laundry and free rental of push bikes - we cycled to cable beach for sunset drinks.

Secluded bliss for a few days, absolutely loved our relaxing few days at the tropical paradise, the Billi. Staff were friendly and helpful and accommodation delightful. We were very thankful for a surprise upgrade, the studio was great but the villa spacious and modern with everything required. The Billi is a decent but pleasant walk to cable beach, however, bus stop not far away and bikes for hire at the property. Would certainly recommend and visit again. Thank you Billi Resort.

We stayed for 7 nights at The Billi and had an enjoyable and relaxing stay in a King Safari Tent. The tent was well equipped and the outdoor shower was no problem since the days were around 35C and the nights still warm. The pool area was nice however the pool was quite cold so we only had quick dips. Would definitely recommend getting a hire car as most restaurants and attractions are a good walk away - the resort has a hire car and also bikes/e-bikes available. Broome also has e-scooters dotted around the town however these are probably best left to younger travellers. Our tent had air-conditioning and a ceiling fan - you do notice some noise from the outside fauna (some type of cricket and various birds) and traffic so if you are a light sleeper I would recommend you opt for a villa rather than a tent. Interesting to see the camels walk by each afternoon on the way to Cable Beach. The staff at The Billi were very courteous and helpful and we really enjoyed the feeling of returning to a lush oasis after a day out in the heat.

Our stay at the Billi was amazing! The place is so clean and has such a lovely atmosphere. From the owls, lizards and frogs within the grounds to the well equiped accommodation and wonderful clean well maintained pool. Also the helpfulness of staff to help when our flights were changed was really great. We will definitely be staying again on our next trip to Broome.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The chalet was large, clean, comfortable and well equipped. The pool and gardens were very nice. No shops or restaurants right nearby but only a short drive away. Relatively expensive place to stay.

On arrival I felt peace, calm and the dirt and stress of the drive melted away. We were early so we were able to use the pool and shower for guests, which further relaxed me. The villa's are well appointed and clean and any concerns or whatnot are dealt with...

The villa's are well appointed and clean and any concerns or whatnot are dealt with straight away. All the staff we came across were professional, friendly and couldn't do enough to help us. We will stay here anytime we visit Broome and recommend it highly.

Restaurants and beach are a bit far to walk, but there are free bicycles for a pleasant and safe ride. The only comments I would make are: 1. I wouldn't go again from November onwards. Many of the tourist offerings have closed until March. 2. the mattress in our room was a bit soft and spongy for a top quality hotel; 3. To close the pool at 6pm each night is over the top. The sort of clientele here are not the people to be carrying on and it is so pleasant there in the lovely pool. Definitely would go back again - just March-October next time!

My husband and I stayed at the Billie Resort in August 2023, villa 4, and had a great time. We were happy to have a villa, which suited us fine. However the tents also look good. The pool, washing facilities and reception worked fine and we really enjoyed our stay. Just note that it is a self catering resort so you need to get some breakfast on your own. A car is also recommended and it is easier to arrive during reception opening hours. (Which we didn’t and it still worked out fine) . We really felt good and enjuthe resort.

We found the service level exceptional. Each staff member wanted to know what they could do to help. Our first impression of the two bedroom villa was that it was relatively small, but as we stayed there our thinking changed to be more and more favourable. Everything was better than expected. The towels, face washers, etc were high quality and plentiful. The cutlery, crockery, glassware and cooking utensils were all complete and better quality than expected. For instance there was a set of steak knives as well as ordinary knives, there is a Nespresso machine but also a milk frother. And in practice the villa was perfectly large enough. The villa was air conditioned but we didn't find we needed it. High ceilings and ceiling fans were more than adequate. I'm also sure the lush green surroundings helped. While it is a walkable distance to Cable Beach it is more realistically just a short drive. Would go back there in a heartbeat. In face, we are quite certain we will.
