We have now stayed at the Beatrice several times, and the experience has been outstanding every time. First of all, the location in downtown Providence is ideal, within easy walking distance from the classic Arcade, such fabulous restaurants as Circe, and the Performing Arts Center on Weybosset Street. The staff are uniformly pleasant and helpful, from the valet parking attendants to the reservation desk, to the housekeepers. The rooms are large and beautifully appointed, with understated elegance. Also, the in house restaurant, Bellini, is wonderful. I was born and raised in Providence, and though we now live away from Rhode Island, this is the place I stay when back in my hometown.

Fun boutique hotel! But no spa or pool. The fitness center is nice and great location. It is weird if you check in late. Nice and quiet. Also, they serve free coffee in the morning. Comfortable bed and pillows. Great couples spot, but not for children.

The Beatrice is a relatively new luxury boutique hotel, and they've got a great thing going in a very central part of Providence. The rooms are very luxurious, from the beds to the bathrooms. Our room even had a smart toilet, which provided its own entertainment after hours. Emily reached out before our arrival to see if there was anything special she could do for us, and seeing that we were celebrating a milestone birthday, I ordered bellinis for our arrival. Emily kept in touch with me via text, and upon arriving, the bellinis were fresh and cold in our room, along with a bottle of prosecco on ice and some chocolates. It was the definition of "above and beyond." Every staff member was very professional and seemed to genuinely care about our experience. This is a level of service you don't get in most city hotels. We would not hesitate to return here when we visit Providence again.

Excellent hotel in Providence.
Elegant and very comfortable hotel. Didn’t eat in the hotel so can’t comment on their restaurant. Staff were helpful, pleasant, professional. Very convenient to Brown University campus and Rhode Island School of Design museum as well as very good restaurants. Would absolutely stay there again.

We are in the Providence area often and we were anxious to try The Beatrice based on the many positive reviews. Our welcome experience was lovely. The front desk lady was friendly and the lobby, while small and narrow was pretty. We walked into our room and thought “wow, look at this large hallway, so much space!” However, that long hallway gave way to a tiny box of a room. A bed, a desk almost touching the bed and a sliding door to a bathroom. It was smaller than a hotel room in NYC. The floors in the room had odd stains on them- as if someone had cleaned them with the wrong product. There isn’t much to comment on the actual room as it was literally just a box. Oh- the curtains didn’t fully close! The bathroom had some features that should add a luxury touch but they just left us feeling like they were trying too hard. A Dyson hair dryer and a fancy, heated toilet…but the bathroom door did not fully close. We stayed for 2 nights. The first day, every time we left the room we had to pass some dirty sheets that were left in the hallway. The second day, a giant, used air filter was propped up in the hall for a long time.
The location is great in downtown Providence and the staff was nice enough, but there was nothing that made the Beatrice worth the significant amount of extra money that it cost over the plethora of hotels in the immediate area. I can not figure out where all these five star reviews are coming from.

A bit expensive, but one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in. There were two couples, and we had adjoining rooms. 100% we'll stay there again. The rooms were large, well lit, and had stunning bathrooms. Super cozy - nice and quiet, and in the perfect location.

The hotel is beautiful and we received a friendly welcome upon arrival. The room was very nice and comfortable.
The room had nice amenities and toiletries. The other features were also satisfactory. One minor issue that we encountered was that the bathroom door didn't have a handle, which made it a bit difficult to open and close. On the bright side, the speakers in the bathroom were really cool.
Although the fridge kept things cool, it didn't get cold enough. We also noticed that the robes had some holes in them. Furthermore, the coffee cup in the cabinet was not properly cleaned and still had lipstick marks from the previous day's use. While it was nice to have a Nespresso machine in the room, we would have appreciated having tea as well.
Somewhat of an inconvenience was that we had to make an appointment for the fitness room, which was not ideal. Additionally, we had to ask for ice instead of having it readily available. Some people might appreciate this level of service, especially considering the price, but it made us feel dependent on the hotel staff for everything. On a positive note, the front desk staff was friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately, the hostess at the Bellini Rooftop was not welcoming or helpful. Her behavior was a bit off-putting and it affected our overall experience at the rooftop, which was not as impressive as we expected. The view was okay and the place was well-decorated, but it was empty, which was a bit surprising (or maybe not).
Overall, it was a nice hotel, but it was missing some basic amenities. However, the front desk staff was very friendly, and even kindly held our luggage after checkout. It's worth noting that they do have a high credit card hold, but it is quickly removed after the stay. Would possibly stay again as it seems to be one of the nicer options in the area.

The Finest Hotel i've stayed at, having travelled the world, is this hotel. We stayed in the Barton Suite; the price fluctuates quite a bit depending on when you travel. My weekend was over 1000$/night, and I would say it was worth it. The best thing about the hotel, once you get past the classic beauty and spotlessness of the place, is the staff. The staff is both very professional and yet maintain a friendly and colloquial conversational style with guests. It was an amazing weekend. I will not here write about the great suite as all the details are on-line. The room(s) were perfect and not one detail was overlooked. We dined at Bellinis three times during our stay. The food was amazinlgy fresh and perfectly prepared. For instance, the minestrone soup was clearly a rich tomato broth but the vegetables that inform the soup were blanched and added last minute creating a fresh, bold and perfect soup unlike the kind that sits in a warmer waiting to be scooped into the bowl. Our server, Maya, was keenly aware of our needs yet never obtrusive. Bread service was wonderful and included some rich focaccia. Scallops as an entree are a must. All the pastas we tried were al dente. I could write more, but will simply say that the management deserves great credit for having such a great staff.

We were super excited to stay at this hotel. We were attending a convention at the convention center. It’s only a 0.3 mile walk which makes this hotel very convenient.
Check in was quick and efficient. We had a corner king suite that’s supposed to be one of the nicest rooms. The room was modern and bright because of the large windows.
Then we stared to spend time in the room and as we tried to sleep realized this isn’t as perfect as we hoped. We were on the second floor so the noise from the street prohibits sleep. There are horns, loud engines and music going by night. The bed was hard as a rock and not comfortable which compounded the long night. There are two huge square pillows on the bed also which were not meant to sleep on. They are too hard and too large.
We could also hear the people above us until they settled around 2 am. We tried turning the fan to on to try to mask some of the noise but it’s almost silent.
The bathroom was ok. The shower is also very loud the water screeches going through it. The pressure was fine and the temperate was hot enough.
We finally say said we are out of here at 5am. Only to find the valet isn’t present then. The front desk gave us our keys and we were told told to go get our own car across the street. That was fine till we went there and the car wasn’t even there. We ended up gong back in only to find it parked under the hotel. Not a huge deal just not organized and glad we didn’t tip on the app since there was nobody to tip.
I would not say this hotel is worth $400 a night at all. It’s a 3 to 3.5 star hotel st best.

No matter what time of day and how many times we encountered them, they greeted us happily and asked how our day was. They gave excellent recommendations and accommodated any requests of ours. Super special thank you to the Front desk team: Kevin, Kyle and Emily, and Jake at the front door. Valet team were also always friendly and quick. Best service ever hands down! Thank you guys!
