Silversmith Hotel Chicago Downtown

We had a wonderful stay! The room was clean and the staff was helpful. The valet service is amazing, as well. Especially Enrique! Quick, super helpful, and so so so kind! We would definitely recommend the silversmith to any of our friends coming up to visit.

We had a wonderful stay! The room was so beautiful and well appointed and was roomy and comfortable. Check in was a breeze and the staff very friendly. We were in town for a little romantic getaway and this was a perfect choice. We will definitely return!

I stayed here on Sat. 2/22/2025. Great value for the price, very clean, safe, comfortable and spacious room, and the front desk manager gave me a room on the side away from the L so I got a great night of sleep as well. I definitely will stay here again...

We felt special from the moment we walked into the lobby and were treated that way throughout our stay. Impeccable, caring staff, gorgeous room, great location! We can't wait to return on our next trip to Chicago. Why would we stay anywhere else?!

I can guarantee you we would stay here again and again, no hesitation. Bed was super comfy too!

Beautiful cozy hotel right in the heart of downtown Chicago. My husband and I stayed for the weekend. We weren’t sure what to expect but were pleasantly surprised. Hotel is minutes walking distance from literally everything. You can walk to stores, restaurants, coffee shops, the Art Institute of Chicago, Millennium Park, the “bean”, shopping, etc. There is a train that runs directly out front of the hotel so we were worried about noise but we couldn’t hear a thing. Super quiet, modern and the bar area was nice. They have a small menu, great drinks (you get a free drink voucher with your stay). In short, we really liked this hotel and the location was perfect! Also, ask for Enrique. He was so helpful. Fantastic customer service. If management is reading this, give him a raise! Overall five stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The star of this show was clearly the team of folks that make The Silversmith so wonderful. They alone will make me come back! Not a disappointment in sight!

This hotel is perfect for a stay in downtown Chicago. The location has great restaurants, bars, shopping, and public transportation to and from the airport and other areas of Chicago all within walking distance. The prices are more than reasonable, and the staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. The hotel bar is also very nice and the bartender, Manuel, was excellent. Definitely a 5 star experience and will most likely be the only hotel we use for our trips to Chicago.

My fiance & I had an amazing experience at The Silversmith Hotel & it's all because of your wonderful employee Anthony Jones! From the moment we checked-in he was so kind & helpful (I also want to give a shout out to the female employee who was working the front desk in the morning of 01/02, I apologize as I do not know her name but, she was also so nice & had the best attitude dealing with multiple people at once). Going back to Anthony, I simply could not hype him up enough! When he heard it was our anniversary he upgraded our room at no charge, gave us great recommendations for a night cap nearby, & even offered to take photos for us in the lobby. Hopefully he was allowed to do this, but when I told him the places he recommended for drinks were closed, he opened the bar for us & gave us each a complimentary drink🥂 We were really feeling like VIPs at this point! This will definitely be an anniversary to remember & we are looking forward to coming back to The Silversmith Hotel again in the future (:
