We enjoyed our stay at the Schloss very much. The hotel is well maintained, clean and conveniently located next to the train station and the Main Street. Kika at the front desk is one of the best hospitality employee we have been encountered. She is very knowledgeable and helpful. Everything one could want from a Zermatt ski stay! Concierge and staff were extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Room was quite comfortable and spacious, although we did have a fairly loud neighbor we could hear through the wall. Spa facilities are excellent and well-maintained with several types of spacious steam and sauna rooms. The ice/cold room was particularly appreciated to ice a sore knee after skiing! The gym is nicely stocked with a full power rack, bench press, and dumbbells to 30kg. Breakfast was tasty with a large buffet spread and made-to-order items as well. Snacks scattered around the property were greatly appreciated after a long day of skiing, especially the coconut jellies! Ski lockers with heated book racks were a dream. Finally, the location is perfect. 2 minute walk to Gornergrat, bus stop to get to the main Matterhorn gondola (and back from the end of the ski to base trail), and SBB train station. Can't wait to come back next season!

I must say this is one of the rear 110% positive hotel experiences I have had in my life. The hotel itself is charming and rooms are clean and well equipped. But the staff, the breakfast and the spa is extraordinary and it just wants you to stay forever. We had a smaller double room, but the rest of the house feels like home and you will seldom feel more welcome. Highest recommendations! <3

Perfectly located close to Gornergrat and Sunnega stations and a bus stop to Matterhorn Glacier Paradise. Great spa, 5 star service. We chose a room with a view of Matterhorn from our balcony and spent some time there every afternoon after skiing . Really enjoyed both the breakfast and tea

Everything we could ask for! Close proximity to walk from the train station and to the amenities in Zermatt, excellent and friendly service, a spa, delicious breakfasts included, delightful afternoon tea and treats included, a lovely common area on the main floor, and a great room.

We have spent the most glorious 5 days at Schloss Hotel in Zermatt in February. The hotel amenities, attention to detail, spa and location are exceptional. But what makes the hotel truly special is the staff! Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday.

We had an amazing stay at Schloss! The cozy property, great location, and relaxing spa made it special. Our room was lovely, and the staff’s outstanding hospitality truly set this hotel apart. From check-in to check-out, every detail was thoughtfully handled, making our experience even more enjoyable.

An amazing experience start to finish! The hotel is only about a 3 minute walk from the train station, making arrival into resort seamless. Upon arrival the reception team provide you with helpful information (including a piste map), as well as tokens for a welcome drink. The bar area is lovely and cosy, and the bar tenders make an excellent Hugo Spritz! We stayed in a Junior Suite (with balcony) (costing around £3,000 for 7 nights). The room was spacious (separate lounge and bedroom area) and felt recently renovated with a lovely bathroom. Cleaner’s visit the room daily (unless you request otherwise), and it’s lovely to come back from a day of skiing to a fresh room. The room also entitled us to 2 ski lockers, and the ski room facilities are brilliant. Breakfast is excellent, with so many options (include vegetarian, vegan and gluten free). Afternoon tea is also on offer between 3pm-5pm. The reception team also made us a packed lunch, free of charge, for our departure as we were getting the early 5:37am train and missing breakfast. For those skiing (amazing!!!) or walking, the hotel is a short 2/3 minute walk to the Gornegrat station. The hotel does not have a dinner service, but the team can provide plenty of restaurant recommendations. You can also get take out pizza to the hotel from Casa Mia (the pizzas are excellent!). Where this hotel really shines is the spa. Luxurious, beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. You simply can’t visit this hotel without going down to the pool and spa. Personal recommendations would be the salt room, CBD sauna and apres ski massage (the latter being an additional cost). We will be visiting again for sure, and would recommend to anyone!

One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in. The service was genuine and excellent. The whole team works to ensure your holiday is as relaxing and wonderful as it can be. We thoroughly recommend this Hotel and having just found it, we look forward to returning regularly.

My experience was top notch, let me count the ways… -Rooms with balcony view of the Matterhorn -fresh and modern rooms -dedicated ski locker areas with heated lockers and boot drying rods in the lockers. -immediately adjacent to gornegrat train station - self serve full breakfast with free option to order dishes. - tea and pastry house in the late afternoon - spa with all amenities + fantastic pool with area to relax or swim laps. -above all Chris, Chris, Chris front reception. I felt like I made a new family friend. Cannot say enough about his attention to detail, guided tour of the hotel amenities and smile for days. Way to go Chris.

10 nights once again in this lovely hotel. Staff extremely kind, large rooms, amazing spa and gym and, last but not least, a great balanced breakfast. Not only, the hotel is located in a perfect location few steps from everything. We will be back, again, next season.

Highly recommend, we get here earlier than check in time in which we were lucky enough that our room was ready and then told we had been upgraded to a suite. Breakfast was sensational and wait staff were excellent along with all other staff we spoke too, happy and helpful....

Was nice to come back to hotel and sit by pool in the warmth and have swim of a afternoon despite the cool weather outside. Hotel was 5min walk to train station

Absolutely fantastic hotel and all staff were so helpful. Kris in reception helped us alot and the lady behind the bar so also very helpful. The location was fantastic. The breakfast was amazing. The bedroom was very good and clean. Thank you to all the staff.

My wife and I spent 5 wonderful days at Zermatt at the Schloss Hotel Zermatt. We loved it! The room was beautiful and service was amazing. We greatly enjoyed the breakfast and the afternoon tea, coffee with wonderful pastries. The very short walk in the morning to the Gornegrat Train was amazing! What a great way to start the day and get up high on the mountain. And having the hotel just across the way from the Zermatt main train station is so helpful. The hotel setup up our ski rental which was just a few minutes away. We enjoyed the pool but did not have a chance to try the spa (next time!). We also had some really great dinners while in Zermatt including Wallisertube, Grizzlys, Spycher Flambé, and 22 Summits (Alain private chef)! They were all incredible! We also had incredible lunches up on Zermatt including our favorite - Paradise Restaurant (@paradise)!

All the services (room, bar, breakfast, spa...) were amazing and outstanding. We will stay again, when we come back to Zermatt and I do recommend you to choose them for your experience there.
