Why stay at a normal hotel when in Frankfurt, when you can stay at history, charm and top class service location? The hotel is superb, extremely comfortable, and the staff is amazing and very courteous. We booked the restaurant once, but loved the food so much we returned the second night. The beds were extremely comfortable, slept all night long, both nights. It is very quiet, very cozy and the lightin just perfect. Our room had an enormous window and the good size bathroom was excellent. Good amenities and the shampoo, body wash and conditioner smelled wonderfully. Breakfast was also very good, complete and full. This hotel gained a new customer with us. We are coming back.

With a golf course, if that is your sort of thing. As for the restaurant, very good food, molecular cuisine, served in high teutonic fashion. No bottles on the table, sit upright, do as you are told. Did not get as far as morning breakfast as we were too traumatised by our evening experience.

We love touring the castles, palaces, and chateau's, making getting to actually stay in one a fabulous experience. The Schlosshotel is incredibly convenient to Frankfurt Airport: a very easy twenty minute drive. It's a great place from which to tour the region: downtown is a half an hour drive, and the towns on the Rhine forty five minutes. The hotel's dining room serves up fabulous meals, and tea and pastries in the main hall with its fireplace is a wonderful way to complete a perfect afternoon.

My wife and I went and stayed at the Schlosshotel as a romantic getaway and boy was it ever!!! The staff is so nice and accommodating and the actual hotel is like a fairy tale. you can walk around the grounds and explore the castle as well as the grounds....

The staff is so nice and accommodating and the actual hotel is like a fairy tale. you can walk around the grounds and explore the castle as well as the grounds. The scenery inside and out are amazing and everyone from the staff would ask us if they could help with anything ALL the time. All of our needs were met, like snacks, food, drinks and the breakfast buffet is top notch. the food is stellar and dining room was both opulent and cozy at the same time.

A real palace! a real castle! You feel as if you are visiting a museum. Yet the rooms are modern, fresh and very well kept. The shower is great and so are the beds. Breakfast is outstanding. A buffet which includes everything you fancy. We will definitely come back!

Schlosshotel Kronberg was the first place we ever stayed at in Germany and wow what an introduction to this beautiful country!!! We ended up traveling around Germany/Austria/France for 2 weeks and this remained our favorite place we stayed at throughout our entire travels. It was absolutely stunning, the service was top tier, and our room was fabulous! We LOVED having air conditioning, built in speakers in the bathroom, a balcony with an incredible view, the food was fantastic, and walking around the gardens was simply beautiful. Would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Frankfurt! It was not a bad drive into town and is 100% worth it to enjoy this stunning castle and the peace and quiet of the countryside.

This was our final stay before heading back to the US and we loved everything about our stay here. The building and the grounds are historic and lovely. We loved our corner room with a little balcony, it was extremely cozy and comfortable. Really enjoyed the food here (and the lovely bar) especially the delicious breakfast. We also had a great time walking through the grounds and the nearby park into Kronberg. Wonderful place!

Our room was with a view over the golfcours. The room was nice with a good bed with nice pillows. The breakfast was excellent. Good choice of food and drinks. Staff was efficient and friendly. We visited the bar in the evening and were pleased to see the choice of drinks. The Japanese whiskey was excellent. The wine from the chateau was also good. We have enjoyed our stay and will return when the golfcourse is open again. It was closed because of the rain in recent day’s weeks, months. The golfcourse looked interesting!
