We had a great time at the hotel. It's a beautiful thematic hotel located in the heart of Manhattan, next to the Times Square. The rooms are small but nice and comfortable with no big windows, the doors of the rooms don't block all the external sounds. The breakfast is good and the hotel has a nice rooftop too. The staff are friendly and we had a good treatment, especially from Eddie and Dustin. That was our first time at the hotel and we'll return.

The location of this hotel is excellent. Very close to Times Square and most tourist attractions. The cleaners were amazing and always made sure that the room was spotless.
Breakfast is really not good! You have no choice and paying the price you are for simply cornflakes and bread is unreasonable.
Upon checkout we also were charged for breakfast every day which we did not use every day and a gym which we did not even know about! The lady who checked us in did not explain any of this to us and upon checkout she really wasn’t very helpful and charged us 275 dollars for this! We had already booked through a package and had paid for breakfast through this but she was not interested!
The manager was a lot more helpful and willing to listen to us. He definitely was happier to help so if any problems occur my advice would be to ask for him!

This was our first visit to New York and we stayed at the Sanctuary Hotel. It is in a great location only a couple of minutes from Times Square.
The staff have been really helpful and friendly throughout our stay. When we arrived we were not happy with our room but it was not a problem as we were able to change rooms. Eddie and Jason were brilliant in doing this for us and even provided us with a kettle for our early morning cup of tea. Our housekeeper Sue, was very friendly and made us feel so welcome. She made sure our room was always clean and well maintained to a high standard.
A continental breakfast was provided in the restaurant every morning which was adequate enough to set you up for the day. We would definitely recommend this hotel as a great place to stay.

Amazing location right next to Times Square so never too far from everything you need to see in NYC.
Staff were fantastic, service was always professional and they all present themselves very well. Spacial shout out to Vicitet who looked after our baggage after checking out and made sure it was safe. Jason on the reception was also very helpful.
Breakfast was very basic, however we came to enjoy it.
The only downside I have was with the £30 per night “service charge” that I wasnt made aware of prior to booking and arrival.
However due us booking through a third party we were not charged so happy with that outcome.
However I can see this being an expensive surprise to guests who book directly with the hotel.
All in all would definitely recommend this hotel

A great location in central Times Square. The room we had was small but the facilities were good. Stocked mini bar, a good sized shower, separate toilet and sink area and a desk next to the bed. We stayed for 3 nights and the room was fit for purpose. Vichet and Vutha were lovely!! So helpful and kind, very polite too, it felt like nothing was too much trouble, they’re a great asset to the hotel. The reason I didn’t go 5 star was solely due to the included breakfast, there wasn’t a great offering, I’ve stayed in hotels across the globe and where breakfast is included, there has always been a good selection, even in budget hotels, but here, it was limited, it would have been nice to see some variety, some charcuterie, or cooked eggs and bacon. There was either basic cereal, bread or bagels, apples and banana and this really unpleasant yogurt. The coffee available too wasn’t nice, not sure if this is standard American coffee or not, but not what I’m used to in the UK. Would stay again, but I just wouldn’t pay extra for breakfast.

Awful place avoid at all cost!

Awful hotel, staff were ignorant, food was basic. Avoid at all cost. This hotel has cost a lot of money due to hidden expenses and really isn’t worth it. The only 2 positives it has is that it’s near times sq and cleaners do their job… nothing else. I’d rather have somewhere decent and walk 20 blocks more. There is so many flaws to this place I don’t know how much I can fit in but this is my first ever hotel review I’ve done (I have stayed in some proper dumps over the years) only as a public service so as nobody else suffers the same as my wife & I. Avoid!!!!

The lobby is comfy with nice couches and fireplace. The room was great. Comfy bed, room for luggage, good shower, nice products. The location is incredible for Times Square and theatre district.

This hotel is dark. Really dark. Really eclectic. Really interesting. The decor- a mix between velour and the orient and mystery. Two cool rooftop restaurants that are very bright and welcoming. Restaurants and rooftop bar a Great contrast to the balance of hotel. Nice welcoming committee at lobby desk. Unfortunately while we were here there was construction underway on lobby level which is why only four out of five stars. We would return again. We would like to see the final results of the lobby renovation work too. Small cozy queen room was small but had it all. Clean. Wished for a few more MSG sport channels on the boobie. No NJ Devils- only Ranger’s. Had YES AND Yankees. Mets too SNY
