This hotel was booked because of the high ratings given by previous Guests and now I'm happy to add to that! As with Venice itself, we were not disappointed in any way. The friendliness of staff, surroundings and quality of room were second to none. All staff were keen to ensure we had an enjoyable and comfortable stay, nothing was too much trouble. Evening drinks in the bar were our favourite activity and much looked forward to after a day of seeing the sights and walking the streets. Although we only had breakfast on one occasion (on a 4 night stay), it was very nice and also good value for money. The final touch was when it was time to leave. A water taxi was arranged to pick us up directly from the hotel canal side and transport us to the airport. When we return to Venice we will definitely return to this hotel and are very happy to recommended it to anyone.

Had a fantastic stay at Ruzzini! The building is stunning, the location is excellent and the staff is amazing. There was a minor problem with my booking (nothing to do with Ruzzini but with the website I used) they they promptly addressed and resolved within minutes. I would recommend to try the bar and to trust Guerino's (the bartender) recommendations for cocktails! Will definitely stay at Ruzzini's again next time I am in Venice.

Stayed for 4 nights and could not have picked a better hotel! We opted to use the hotel's transfer service to/from the airport. A little pricey @ €200 each way, but well worth it as it was totally stress free (literally door to door) - we really did arrive in style! Collected from the airport arrivals area, taken by Mercedes (20 mins) to the waiting boat and transferred to the hotel's own jetty adjacent to the reception desk (another 20 mins). Location is only a few minutes walk from the Main Square and Rialto Bridge, and a soon as you leave the hotel you experience the myriad of streets, alleyways and squares with all the sights, shops, restaurants and other attractions. Our room was excellent - clean, comfortable and quiet. The hotel is a little unorthodox in its layout, but that only adds to the charm. Breakfast every morning offered an excellent choice (hot and cold), and this set us up for the day ahead. All staff are extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. If we ever decide to return to Venice we would not hesitate to stay at Ruzzini Palace. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a four night stay at the Ruzzini Palace in November and would highly recommend this amazing hotel with 5 Star service from all staff members. The location is perfect, situated in a quiet, beautiful little square, but with only a short walk to the main attractions, with great restaurants, shops and coffee spots. The hotel itself is steeped in history and character and it was lovely to just sit in the reception areas and take it all in. Our room was wonderful, spotlessly clean, thanks to the housekeeping staff, again full or character with great features and a large, comfy bed. Breakfast was excellent with a great selection of hot and cold food. The hotel bar was cosy and intimate and a great place to sit and enjoy a drink and make new friends. Special mention to Rino the Bar Manager who made the trip that extra bit special. Not only does he make amazing drinks but he makes all the guests feel extremely welcome, joining in the fun and conversations, while sharing knowledge, information and history of the hotel, the area and Italy. Such a personal touch. Thank you Rino. All of the staff were super friendly, helpful and attentive. Fantastic hotel, we will definitely recommend to friends and if we return to Venice, we will certainly stay at the Ruzzini Palace.

This hotel is an easy walk to St Marks, yet away from all of the crowds and noise, on a quiet piazza, and the water taxi dock makes checking in and out a breeze. Just a few blocks away is a nice grocery for snacks and drinks. It was very hot, and the A/C was wonderful to have after days of touring. The staff was most helpful, and the service and food in the bar was excellent. The breakfast was also very good, with both hot and cold items on offer.

Very friendly staff, comfortable beds and linens. Lovely breakfast. Hotel was very clean; which was my number one priority. We immensely enjoyed our stay and will return to this hotel on our next visit to Venice. Thank you very much Ruzzini Palace.

A wonderful hotel in the heart of Venice. Even though we were only there one night, we loved our stay. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, and the entire staff was wonderful. The rooms are very quaint and unique. Highly highly recommended.

Perfectly situated in a beautiful square. Easy access to all the sights. Room was comfortable, well decorated and quiet. Was so much fun to sip on a drink and sit in their alcove that abutted a canal with the gondoliers going by. Staff was wonderful and helpful.
