Stayed here for 3 nights, in the annex. Whilst the room was not big it was adequate for us. Room & hotel was very clean, bathroom facilities good. All the staff were pleasant & helpful & dealt with any request promptly with a smile. Breakfast was good value offering a varied choice. Hotel ideally located near to main visitor sites & on a main bus route. Would I stay here again ?, Yes without a doubt. Be guided by overwhelmingly positive reviews. One small suggestion, could do with a chest of drawers or table top to place bits & pieces.

We arrived for a 4 night city break with jet 2 holidays
We arrived and was greeted by a lovely young lady who explained everything we needed to know.
The hotel is close to all the main sites that you need to visit with plenty of restaurants all around with lots of options for eating and drinking prices varied from €10/€20 per main meal drinks seem to be a standard €6 for a large peroni with cocktails around €9/€14
We found a gem of a restaurant 10 minutes from hotel called Ristorante Petrucci we had 2 meals at this restaurant and we payed the first night €74 for two people inc drinks and a desert and the next night €60 it’s a must the best cabanora we’ve ever had ,
If your not aware there is a tourist tax of €7.50 per person per night at this hotel we were already aware of this tax but some are not , but I do look into things like this so it wasn’t a shock like in other reviews ,
The hotel is a beautiful place to stay the room we had 208 was in the main hotel and was plenty big for the two of us we found the room very pleasant, the towels and bedding was changed every day and tea coffee milk also
The breakfast was very good plenty of of choice from hot and cold meals , Cerial, yougurt, fruit , croissants, cake , bread etc not forgetting orange juice and water coffee machine or you could order a coffee from the bar
We didn’t eat here on the night so carnt comment on the evening
Where this hotel excelled is the staff not one person ignored either of us during our stay we were always greated with a good morning or after we had been out for the day a big smile and a welcome back ,
I must mention one member of staff who made our stay Andrei, you have a gem in this young man if we ever come back to Rome and to stay in the Rome Times Hotel it will because of Andrei
So to conclude The Roman Times Hotel is a fantastic place to stay in Rome with good rooms, good staff ,good food and drink
Unfortunately some people would not agree with my review but this is how we see it and it’s a honest review
Well done to all especially Andrei , hope to see you again

Fantastic stay! Location perfect for 2 couples in late twenties. Close enough to walk to all of the major attractions.
We stayed in the ‘annex’ next door to the main hotel and we loved it! It felt a bit more private, and after reading some reviews it sounds like the rooms are even more modern in the annex side. We had a huge tv with some English channels, could cast our phone for Netflix too.
Bed was extremely comfy, shower was huge and amazing, we were so impressed by the room! The only suggestion is it would have been great to have actual mugs in the room for tea rather than paper cups. There’s also not much storage space.
Our room was facing the road, it is on or near a very noisy street but with the windows closed it blocks it out. However, it was quite warm so we had the windows open all of the time and night which did make it noisy (air con is off in the winter)
Would definitely stay here again when visiting Rome!

We enjoyed our stay in hotel, there were very good breakfast with quality food, no noise at night time and very comfy mattress and pillows which is very important for us. Location is perfect, close to Trevy Fontaine, Colosseum and Roman Forum. Although we walked around to have a dinner and there were lots of nice restaurants. Receptionists were always pleasant and friendly, we asked to move a bit more inside when we arrived and they give us other room. Everything was great. We would definitely come back.

Hotel is lovely, spotless and in a great location.
We were given an annex room on the 5th floor with direct access to the roof terrace.
Ideal as we like to sit out for morning coffee and I couldn't find a room anywhere with a balcony.
Staff really friendly and professional. Room adequately sized and nicely decorated and styled. Really enjoyed our stay.

We recently stayed at this hotel and were absolutely delighted with our experience. The breakfast was exceptional, offering a wide variety of fresh and high-quality options. From freshly baked pastries and fruits to hot dishes, it catered to all tastes and left a lasting impression.
The rooms were comfortable, spacious, and tastefully decorated with modern touches. Everything was impeccably clean, and the beds, along with the linens, ensured a truly restful sleep. Additionally, the room amenities, such as a coffee maker, minibar, and complimentary Wi-Fi, made our stay even more enjoyable.
The hotel’s gym was well-equipped with modern machines and had ample space for exercising. We were impressed by its cleanliness and the excellent condition of the equipment. The view from the gym area added a refreshing touch, making it the perfect way to start the day.
The location of the hotel was another major highlight. It is conveniently situated near many points of interest, including museums, restaurants, shops, and public transportation, making it an ideal choice for both tourists and business travelers.
Overall, this hotel offers an excellent combination of great amenities, comfort, and a prime location. We highly recommend it!

Dubious about this hotel having read some reviews. Booked by family as a gift for my 50th. Stayed in double room in the annex. Room was clean, great shower lots of hot water. Asked for a fan and extra pillows which were provided in minutes. Tv mostly Italian channels but managed to find an English movie most nights. No noise from other rooms or street. Cleaned every day. Had fridge, hairdryer and basic amenities. Had to pay for mini fridge but didn’t bother as shop next door which was cheap and had most snack tho ha needed. Staff polite and helpful. Annex secure and locked at night with access for guests. Would recommend to family and friends and so close to most of the sights

Room
Bathroom has everything you need - toiletries and a great bath and a powerful shower
towels and bedding changed everyday
stayed on 107 - this room has a balcony which was lovely
yes you can hear traffic but you are in a busy city - shut the door / get ear plugs and there is no problem
room safe is free
tea / coffee provided with a small fridge (hotel stuff in the fridge crisps etc payable as an extra)
beds are firm / great pillows and nice crisp white bedding
Location is great
In the middle of the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain - about 10 mins each way
About a 50 min walk from the Vatican City - a cab is under 20 Euros one way and reception can order you one or go direct.
Breakfast
Staff are great and look after you very well
food is varied and very very nice - something for everyone
the breakfast room is very nice
Only issues we had were
- there is a chap on reception who is a little curt and could take a customer service lesson from his female colleague - his attitude was a bit much when simply ask for tourist type help
- On 2 days we were not left with any replenished tea bags / coffee or milk pods - not such a problem but both days we were quizzed about had we left the do not disturb sign up? what time did we vacate the room etc? and then on day two they came and asked to checked the tea / coffee station. This may be hotel protocol as explained by the manager but from a customer perspective this level of questioning and checking is overkill for a few tea bags. Perhaps deal with this better in the future
- There was no hot water from evening to later on the next day. This was repaired but no showers one morning
If if wasn't for the above items i would have scored the hotel excellent

Wife and I recently had a break in the beautiful City of Rome.
We decided to book The Roman Times Hotel, which we thought was central for our sightseeing trip.
An absolutely well run Hotel which was modern in style but blended in well with the surrounding areas.
Staff on the reception desk were very helpful.
A lift is available for the 5 floor's.
The 5th floor has a terrace balcony which gives rather nice view's over the this amazing City.
The 0 floor, basement, takes you down to a recently opened spa room offering a sauna and steam room which we found very relaxing having walked around sightseeing on the 5 days we were there !!!
Cool water and teas were available for you in the spa room with towels and gowns provided.
A variety of food for breakfast and evening meals were aplenty...
A nice relaxing bar providing beer's...wines...spirits and cocktails to linger over...
A special mention must go out to one of the Hotels Manager's, Ibra, who made sure our stay was a most enjoyable place to stay and unwind...absolutely nothing too much to ask from him..
Our first , and most certainly not our last trip to Rome, was just truly amazing...
We've already decided to stay again at The Roman Times Hotel again in the not too distant future as it just ticked all of the boxes.
If you're looking for History, Culture, Architecture, Amazing Italian Food, ( And Ice Cream !!!)
Easy Transport,
Great People and Great Hotel Accommodation, then go on,book a break here...you certainly won't be disappointed...
Can't wait to return.
🇮🇹 Grazie...😃

We stayed here last week whilst visiting Rome and must say we were pretty happy with our choice of hotel.
After reading numerous reviews on here about noise and heat in rooms I was pretty anxious about where we were to be located but fortunately we were allocated a room in the ‘Annex’ which was neither hot or noisy so just right; if you are able to request a room in this part of the hotel I would strongly recommend doing so.
The hotel was very clean, tidy and modern which was great. The location was also perfect, from this base you can pretty much walk anywhere within the city.
Prior to arriving I requested a birthday cake for my partner’s birthday as a special request, this cost €20 which I thought was a bit steep but it actually turned out to be great value - it was delicious and of a very good portion size.
I’d definitely recommend this hotel for location and quality.

We had a 3 night stay at The Rome Times Hotel, which is a beautiful hotel in the centre of Rome. The room was spacious and very clean, and we had the best nights sleep after our long days of exploring Rome. The hotel is in a perfect location and is within walking distance of the main sites of Rome, and around a 45 minute walk to the Vatican City. We had breakfast included, which we would highly recommend to fuel up for a day of sightseeing - it was a delicious breakfast. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, and they also suprised my husband at breakfast with a small birthday cake for his 40th birthday, which was such a lovely thing to do! We would highly recommend this hotel for your trip to Rome, and we will most definitely be back!
