We spent a long weekend in Carmel to celebrate my wife's birthday and had an absolutely spectacular time. No doubt that cooperative weather enhanced the experience but there is no question that the Quail Lodge venue experience elevated a great time to something that was spectacular & memorable. Service was on point from the moment of arrival to our late checkout. Staff was friendly, professional & never missed an opportunity to make an extra effort towards ensuring our satisfaction. We had booked a pavilion room & the front desk provided an unsolicited upgrade to a fantastic location overlooking the golf course, that accompanied a happy birthday bottle of wine. Both restaurants served excellent meals and the golf was picture perfect, along with this staff looking after us with a nice personal touch. We will certainly be planning a return visit later this year.

Pillows and bed were excellent! Loved the layout of the room on the golf course. Breakfast was fantastic!location close to everything. We ended up staying an extra day. Rained so we did not get to use the pool but the grounds are gorgeous! Close to nurseries and beach to let...

This hotel is so gorgeous, so relaxing, and the staff was wonderful for our entire stay! i really recommend it both for couples and families. The pool was so warm and clean and the gym was great. The food at the restaurant was delicious and the waitstaff was so kind.

From the 1st moment we checked in to checking out, it’s been such an easy and pleasurable stay here at The Quail Lodge. We were upgraded upon check in WITHOUT asking which I thought was a very classy and smart move, especially if the lodge is not fully booked. This definitely ensures that I will stay here again especially since the service’s been so outstanding! The check-out time is 12noon!! Fantastic! The grounds are maintained beautifully and so peaceful and quiet. The room we stayed in is very Spacious and the bathroom is very large, clean and well appointed with large sized amenities which I think is always better than those small hotel products that is never quite enough. We have stayed in many places here in Carmel and Big Sur over the years and will absolutely choose this place first next time. Thank you Quail Lodge for a memorable stay! Highly recommended! We will be back!

We've been to the Quail Lodge twice now and we'll continue to come back because of how amazing it is and we don't even golf or anything, it's just a great place to be. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are wonderfully kept and well-appointed, all the staff are friendly...

We've been to the Quail Lodge twice now and we'll continue to come back because of how amazing it is and we don't even golf or anything, it's just a great place to be. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are wonderfully kept and well-appointed, all the staff are friendly and helpful, there's great food at both restaurants any time of day. It's just a serene, lovely place to unwind, to relax, just an amazing to be. We were also able to take advantage of a promotion that came with a wonderful welcome package that was absolutely unbeatable which made the visit and stay a no-brainer. We will undoubtedly be back, it's just a matter of when.

We always look forward to visiting The Quail. It’s my special get away retreat to nourish the soul and recharge. I cannot say enough about our hosts, especially Beatriz, who greeted us at check in and took great care of our needs throughout our stay. We received follow up texts to see if we needed anything. The grounds are gorgeous. We always saw a representative tending to anything that needed attention. Housekeeping is top-notch. Pet friendly. Covey Grill serves up great dishes. Exceptionally clean pool, spas, all amenities, plenty of robes, towels. Great for golfers and tennis. Rooms are detailed and clean. Close to restaurants, shops, and minutes from Carmel and Pebble Beach, Pacific Grove and Monterey. The Quail is where I go to escape and leave my worries behind.

We had a fantastic two-night midweek stay to celebrate our 55 year anniversary. Our sons gave us the stay as a gift since they knew we had our honeymoon all those years ago in Carmel. Everyone on the staff treated us very well. They thoughtfully upgraded us to a bungalow beside the lake that had a nice private patio featuring a lovely view and appealing water sounds. Our room was excellent with an extremely comfortable king bed featuring a soft down comforter, natural slate flooring and shower, high quality cabinets, designer furniture, vaulted ceiling, and more. The restaurant served wonderful breakfasts while providing a beautiful lake view. There were many more resort features that we did not take advantage of, (but certainly will at our next stay) such as the pool, fire pits in various places, three exercise rooms, e-bikes, putting tees, and more. We strongly recommend The Quail Lodge. While only a ten minute drive to Carmel plus a little more to Pacific Grove and Monterey, it offers better weather, open space, and an appealing resort layout. We definitely plan to return.

The food is marvelous with generous portions, not to mention the magnificent views of the water features and pyramid fire heaters....

The workout rooms were clean. We will definitely be back again.

My husband & I went for our wedding anniversary to be able to just relax. This place definitely was the spot to do that. The Covey Grill had great little snacks & drinks in the evening & their breakfast menu was great. We also got a massage at their spa...

My husband & I went for our wedding anniversary to be able to just relax. This place definitely was the spot to do that. The Covey Grill had great little snacks & drinks in the evening & their breakfast menu was great. We also got a massage at their spa on the premises & it felt amazing. Their pool is heated so going for a dip even if it’s a little chilly isn’t a bad idea. The room was also very cozy. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking to just relax & enjoy a few days away. The staff is also very accommodating.

This marvelous resort is always a delight! Management and staff are amazing and helped us find a charming room at short notice. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the Covey Grill is our favorite Carmel restaurant. This is our third visit in 2024 and we look forward to the next one!

Exceptional property. Room and grounds are beautiful. Food was superb. Great location in Carmel Valley. Very friendly staff. Nice pool. Best breakfast I've had anywhere. Great value for what you pay. Nicer than a Ritz Carlton. I'd move in and stay there if I could.

There isn’t a better place to stay in the Carmel area. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the rooms are spacious and VERY clean. There is a golf course, putting greens and bikes which can be used by guests. Its location is comfortably secluded yet close to shopping, downtown Carmel, the seventeen mile drive and the wonderful Monterey Museum. Give yourself a treat, Quail Lodge and Golf Resort is as good as it gets.
