Henry gave us excellent service in the restaurant. Very friendly and personable and polite. Tex Mex Restaurant food very good. Enjoyed the visit. All service at this restaurant was excellent, friendly, smiled a lot. Helpful service excellent

Overall a great experience for our first visit to Costa Rica. Staff is great. Pool activities are so-so. Extremely hilly to everything so go in shape or prepare to wait for shuttles. Pavement is too hot for your feet. Restaurant booking is a joke on the app. Go to the concierge. TexMex, Italian and Sports bar have great food. Good burgers out by the pool. Teppenyaki restaurant is meh if you’ve been to good Japanese steakhouses. Couldn’t get a reservation for the American steakhouse. Sad.

This was my first all inclusive resort. It was a "ten star experience", mostly because of our personal concierge Francis Naves. He answered all of our questions and attended to all of our needs. This by itself made this stay spectacular! I found that the staff was overall very helpful!

We have just had breakfast in the Blue star. Henry our waiter was lovely, we had the omelette and eggs Benedict both were very good. We also bad the smoothies which were good, and the fruit platter was lovely Would recommend breakfast here, and 5 stars to Henry our waiter.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We easily reserved a cabana, but restaurant reservations were a little harder to come by. We were surprised by the multiple food options. The food was good for an all inclusive, but we enjoyed our meals outside the property much more. The souvenir shop is very expensive, I recommend purchasing your souvenirs elsewhere. The app is a good idea, but not user friendly. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Our personal attendant, Fernando, was very attentive as well. He made all of our dinner reservations and saw that we were on time for all of them. He also kept us abreast of all the resort’s activities. All of the restaurants at PH we amazing especially the Japanese place. Our meal was very tasty.

Overall I had a wonderful experience on the resort. The food was great the service was amazing. Everyone was friendly! I especially enjoyed the star class breakfast. Henry and Jimmy had impeccable service. They anticipated our needs and made sure we had everything we needed.

The service here is off the charts and the food and facilities are top notch. Special thanks to buffet staff Maria Jose, Emilio and Amber who went above and beyond expectations. Also our butler Henry, who thought of everything I would fully recommend this resort

This was our first visit to Costa Rica and so happy that this is the resort we chose. Amazing in every single way. The resort is beautiful, the staff are by far the most genuinely friendly and helpful of any resort we’ve ever been too. We had a Star Class room, the beds were comfy and we had a beautiful Ocean view and we felt spoiled every day at the Star Class pool. Star Class was our only option when we booked the trip, and I would 100% book it again. The food was excellent at every restaurant and the buffet had so many options no matter which meal you were there for. I thought the resort looked far from the pool and beach from online photos. The photos are deceiving and although the resort is on a big incline, if you couldn’t walk it or didn’t want to, the shuttles were always readily available. I think we might have waited 5 minutes once. The drivers were always friendly and happy to take you wherever you needed to be. Howler monkeys in the trees, monkeys on the beach, iguanas spotted throughout the resort. The visit wouldn’t have been the same without Jedder, Jesse, Miller, Jonathan, Dylan, David, Maria, Rosa, Luis, Karolyn, Karolina and honestly too many amazing restaurant & bar staff to mention. We hope to see them all again in early 2026. Highly recommend.

The whole trip was a success, I loved the spa! Sebastian was an amazing host. José made sure we knew all the activities ahead of time whatever we needed he was there for us. Thank You. The food was good, the drinks was good. Pool time was amazing.

Edu made the best exotic drink for me and my girlfriend 🔥🔥🔥!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Super amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The customer service was top tier! Would highly recommend Planet Hollywood resort for your next vacation!!!!!!

The people of Costa Rica are a ten out of ten and this resort staff is no exception. The facility is well maintained and well staffed. Nice variety of places to eat. You must be prepared for food delivery to take awhile at all of the PH restaurants, but if you need faster service the large and diverse buffet is always an excellent choice. We loved that the food is fresh, nothing looks or tastes processed and the fresh fruit is outstanding. Very couples or family friendly. Great base camp to take day trips from. Thanks everyone. Yeraly at the star pool and Inga at the Spa were very helpful as well as many staff I wish I remembered their names. Thanks again and we’ll be back to Costa Rica!

Amazing time! We stayed for 5 days! The buffet was great. The restaurants were great. Definitely plan on coming back in the future. So Cal Buffet has the best host staff. They were extremely accommodating. Anything we needed they were on it!

We had a private dinner for my birthday and David was excellent. The beach was decorated beautifully. He was so attentive and accommodating. The dinner was delicious! I would highly recommend booking the private beach dinner. Compliments to the chef.

We've had a great stay so far. Being Star Class has been great because the best Service We've had is at the SC pool. Yearely and Luis are fantastic. Some of the best service I've ever had and we're very well travelled. Really top notch service from them. The grounds are well kept, coffee is good, drinks are good, beach is black sand and beautiful. So far Guy's has been the only let down. Buns were cold, fries not seasoned, and just not very good. I'd skip that. The steakhouse and asian we're our favorite restaurants. Kevin at the front is terrific and incredibly helpful. He made for a really smooth checkin.

Freddy and Wendy at So Cal were AMAZING. They both went above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable experience. Freddy always got us the best drinks and Wendy knows how to pop the champagne. Definitely recommend So Cal and these two wait staff!

The water temperature was perfect, neither too cold nor too hot, making it refreshing and inviting. We highly recommend upgrading to the Star Class for access to more restaurants, a dedicated reservations assistant, and a spacious pool with additional shaded chairs. - **Cabanas:** We rented a cabana, which came with a delightful dipping pool and provided much-needed privacy. Cabana One was particularly ideal, as it had no direct neighbors and offered ample shade throughout the day. The cabana rental cost $400, but it included a complimentary bottle of Johnny Walker Black. - **Food:** The à la carte dinner menu offered a variety of dishes, although some were not particularly impressive. These included the friendly staff at the pool bar, the attentive reservations assistant, and the helpful cabana staff. Our agent, Daniels, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Every night, without fail, Daniels made sure we had dinner reservations and took care of any issues that arose in our room. Additionally, Daniels stocked our mini bar with our preferred snacks. Michelle and Frances, our friendly bartenders at the overtime sports bar, were always attentive to our needs. They made sure we had refreshing drinks and that our snacks were delicious.

i came to planet hollywood resort with my girlfriend which was very fun! such a beautiful place and EDU was also making the the best drinks!! i definitely would recommend for someone to come this resort and you will forsure have a great experience. very cool staff
