Reviews of Palazzo Veneziano
Great service by the hotel staff, starting before we even arrived, with a reach out from the concierge who helped us arrange transfers. Location is quiet, yet very walkable to all essential services and the heart of Venice. Would definitely recommend to others!

The hotel was in an excellent location. In a quieter part of town but still buzzing, right next to bars with water views. There was also a good bar and seating areas in the hotel and the staff were attentive. Breakfast was good. I don’t think it’s necessary to pay more for a canal view. Whilst the room was lovely, it was noisy - you could hear boats and people talking on the canal in the middle of the night/early morning, which meant getting a good night’s sleep was a bit difficult. The location and cleanliness was spot on though.

Comfortable very modern hotel in dosoduro…loved being away from too much action(but could jump in easily). The locale and cocktails were fantastic plus the quite well appointed rooms. All staff were very friendly and accommodating..check in check out easy…cappuccino in the morning necessary!!

Couldn't recommend this hotel more - from the moment we arrived everyone was super helpful and amenities were superb. We visited in February (considered low season) and were kindly upgraded to a Junior Suite - I'm not 100% sure what the difference between Junior Suite and a regular room that we booked was (from pictures it looked almost identical), but had no issues with our room at all. We found room was a little warm but after speaking to reception they have turned the air-conditioning on for us (it must be regulated their end), and they also provided us with extra pillows on request. Breakfast was great, and they even provided bubbles to treat yourself to a mimosa! We also had cocktails at the hotel bar which were delicious & barmen were very friendly.
Ahead of our arrival hotel provided us with a very helpful list of recommendations, which we have referred to more than once.
We also loved the location of the hotel - it was my second time in Venice (first time I stayed around San Marco square) and I much preferred being a bit out of the tourist area but still close enough to walk everywhere. They are lost of cute bars & restaurants nearby which are full of locals which makes the experience more authentic! Would not hesitate to come back and recommend this hotel to my friends & family.

As is is presumably off season we secured a great deal.
If I was pressed to find a negative… it would be the coffee at breakfast. Please use a different brand. It has a burnt taste. Quite unappealing.

Stayed here for 4 nights in March.
Lovely hotel, very clean and stylish throughout and friendly staff. The position facing the water is excellent, a great view to walk out to in the morning and lovely to walk along the promenade at sunset. We loved the general location/area, 5 min walk to Accademia Bridge and 20 or so to St Marks Square. There are several water bus stops very close to the hotel which were easy to use.
This area had lots of lovely small restauramts nearby and quiet canals to walk around (although we were here in March, so it was naturally quieter I imagine).
We loved our 4th floor room, especially the split level feature, and very spacious.
The bed was very large, mattress and pillows both firm and exceedingly comfortable, slept really well.
The bathroom was also spacious , loved the huge walk in shower, slippers and ample toiletries.
Breakfast was excellent, lots of variety and replenished frequently.
All in all, loved the hotel and really hope to come back again.

Very nice stay at Palazzo Veneziano
Very nice stay in this hotel, room was comfortable and the attention was really good. Guys in the bar were really nice and friendly and the cocktails very good.
Location very close to vaporetto Station and we could go to San Marcos Piazza by walking
Wonderful accommodations. Friendly staff. Quiet and peaceful. Perfect location for boat travel and walking. Bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is top notch. Wonderful restaurants just next door that is open late Arrangements for travel from the airport made our arrival dreamy.

We got the rooftop hot tub and our friends got the duplex hot tub without a canal view. We both thought we got the better deal. Rooftop is a small room but using the hot tub at night is an amazing experience. (There are privacy screens but you're one of many in a row.) Breakfast was very nice but nothing over the top. Front desk were very helpful. They arranged a murano glass tour (yes, it's a tourist trap but still an amazing experience) and got us a car (yes, a car) to bring us back to the airport. The hotel isn't close to anything of note but everything in Venice is within a half hour walk. We were extremely happy with our choice.

The highlight for us was meeting Marco and Vincenzo, the Sommelier and Mixologist at the bar. Not only was their knowledge of cocktails and wine unprecedented, but they were also great conversationalists. We felt so fortunate to have met them both and we had so much fun hanging out with them. The hotel was in a quiet neighborhood, far from the craziness of San Marco/Rialto areas, but close enough to walk or take a water taxi to most neighborhoods with no problem. There were many very good restaurants in the neighborhood and the water taxi stop was never overrun with people. It was also quite convenient to the parking garage. The hotel room was small, which is very normal for Europe, but very clean, quiet and a comfy bed. We will definitely stay here the next time we visit Venice!

Palazzo Veneziano is outstanding and we had a wonderful stay. First of all, the front desk staff is exceptional. From the outset, they made sure we had the best accommodations to our liking, reservations for each night at a restaurant that suited our tastes, and facts and suggestions for visiting sites and even wine shops. A huge shout out to Chiara, Francesco, Rima and Romana! Their helpful suggestions and guidance made it easy for us to explore and enjoy a new city for us! We can't say enough good things about their warmth and professionalism. Our room faced the rear canal and was both picturesque and quiet. The bed and bedding were comfortable. The bathroom was large and modern. We loved the many choices, including scrambled eggs, at the breakfast. The breakfast area was large and the waitstaff were extremely helpful in providing us with delicious coffee beverages. The location of this hotel is excellent, away from the touristy areas, yet convenient to water taxis and busses. We highly suggest this hotel as a base for Venice.

Quiet location well away from the busiest parts of Venice and a selection of very good family run restaurants nearby . Handy supermarket a few yards away.
Vaporetta water bus stops close by and all in all it made a really good base for our trip to Venice. Hotel pre booked a Vivaldi concert tickets for us at a nearby church and it was wonderful.
Will surely return to Venice and would very happily stay here again.

My wife and I chose Palazzo Venetiano for a 35th wedding anniversary stay having researched a few hotels in Venice and seen the great reviews for this hotel. From the moment we stepped through the door, the staff could not do enough for us. The team on reception were particularly helpful from booking restaurants, water taxi, Gondola Ride and guided tour to fixing a fused light and loss of electricity (within minutes of informing the front desk).
The ambience of the hotel is lovely and relaxing and the rooms seem to be very well sound-proofed and air conditioned. The bed was super-comfy and the up-keep of the rooms by house-keeping was very efficient. Our room had a very nice view over-looking the canal at the back of the hotel.
My only suggestion for an improvement would be for staff to wear name badges so appropriate praise could be given to them as individuals - there was no-one that was less than massively helpful.
We could not have chosen better and if we return to Venice this will be our hotel of choice.

beautiful but a bit noisy
Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, very clean rooms, no too many kids. The only two less pleasant factors were that this hotel is apparently very popular with Americans, who were extremely loud, and that there was a lot of noise from the hallways and other rooms.

Overall Excellent location for Hotel away from all the noise and crowds but not to far away. Was nice to be able to relax when we wanted but got to the busy area's when needed. Room was 5 stars, comfortable and clean and exactly as advertised. So why 4 stars, although some of the employee's would recognize you, say hello and ask if you needed anything, many just ignored you behind the counter. Does not take much to look up when one of your customers is passing by and say Hi, in fact it should be mandatory to have the courtesy of doing that every time. At the pricing you pay you should be recognized every time, does not take that much effort and it makes a big difference.

Big disappointment. Avoid staying on the ground level floor. It is very noisy. The windows are very high and it feels like you are in a basement.
