The location is great. The hotel location is very near to everything (about 5 mins walk from the bus station). The back of the hotel is literally where the tourist spot is. The room and food are superb! The view from out balcony is breathtaking!

My husband and I spent a night at Palazzo Scotto during our 2 week trip to Amalfi and Puglia. The staff upgraded us to the Cummerse Suite for our anniversary. The rooftop views of the Trulli and church were stunning. We had a great dinner in their restaurant and fully enjoyed the young piano player and owner's singing. They were both very talented and a made our trip to the town special. We highly recommend this prime location.

Fabulous boutique hotel in a historic building in the heart of Alberobello. We were lucky enough to book the Cummerse Suite on the top floor which included three outdoor spaces. The view is spectacular. Very large suite with a full kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. Very comfortable bed. The entire town has a soothing energy and so does this hotel. We had a great sleep here. The full breakfast was delivered to our room and is definitely worth including in the reservation. Highly recommend making a dinner reservation at the hotel’s restaurant, Nos. It is also worth a 5 star review.

Valerio, the general factotum, welcomed us to his hotel and to Alberobello warmly and with great style. He offered local history, recommendations and was very charming.
After dinner at a local restaurant we came back to Scotto for drinks to find Matthew, a great young pianist, entertaining the diners at the hotel. What’s more, Valerio appeared again, this time to croon beside the piano. He’s a very good singer and they had a varied repertoire which built a fantastic atmosphere. Definitely the most memorable evening we spent in Puglia.
The team at this hotel pull out all the stops. Highly recommend.

If there are any better places to stay in Alberobello than Palazzo Scotto, then I'd be very surprised.
We stayed in the Cummerse Suite, a beautiful top floor suite serviced with its own private lift.
A stunning, jaw-dropping view over the rooftops of Alberobello greeted us from one of our two private terraces.
The suite consisted of a kitchen/dining area, lounge and bedroom. Breakfast was ordered through an app before 9pm the previous day and delivered to our beautiful terrace at a time to suit.
We were lucky to be able to spend three wonderful nights in this gorgeous hotel and Valerio and Mauro were quick to respond to WhatsApp messages at any time of day.
I cannot find fault with anything, but perhaps a fan in the room would have helped with the extreme heat of Puglia in July. I'm sure one would have been provided if we'd requested it, but we slept so well even the heat didn't keep us awake.
Highly recommended.

From the moment we booked the hotel was in contact and nothing was too much. We were given information about arrivals and parking (€20 per night 5 min shuttle service).
At check in we were greeted by the owner and his passion for the hotel and the town was second to none, as it should be as its been family ran for generations. We were given a short history of the town and a map with the tourist spots and recommendations for more traditional area. The breakfast was delicious and fresh delivered to us in the garden area after we ordered on the web app. The staff were an absolute pleasure and could not be faulted. The room was beautiful and unique (junior suite, Fosteria)
Location is central and 5 minutes walk to all the hotspots. Would recommend a million times over.
Grazie mille Valerio.

Great Place! No detail overlooked. Excellent location!
Fabulous place in a great location. Our room was very comfortable and opened to a garden patio where we had breakfast every morning. It is a short walk from here to the plaza, the basilica, and the Trulli. We would highly recommend!! And breakfast each morning was wonderful!

A haven in the middle of this UNESCO town. From the moment we arrived Valerio and the team ensured that we made the most of our time in the area.
We stayed for two nights in a beautiful room at the top. Really comfortable bed and the best shower!
The hotel is in the middle of everything and very easy to find. The team gave us wise counsel on when to visit parts of the city to avoid the crowds. And more importantly where to eat to get a more authentic regional meal.
There is no parking at the hotel but there is free parking a couple of minutes walk away - which once you have deposited your bags the team will guide you to.
There is a also a bonus lift so getting bags to your room isn’t hard.
Breakfast each morning in the garden or on your balcony was delicious and a magical way to start the day surrounded by the ancient city.
Would highly recommend this hotel.

We absolutely loved our stay at Palazzo Scotto. This is not a truli but a historic mansion. Our room was a small apartment with a small kitchen and a wonderful patio overlooking the church and trulis. We absolutely loved our stay here. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Alberobello was a charming city with an interesting history. I recommend staying here. Great breakfast also.
Tip as with many city centers, parking is an issue. Download the Italian parking app and park in designated areas.

The room we had, the Trulli room, was quaint and full of character. It is a tiny room with low door headers which partly way makes it so charming. An amazing breakfast was waiting for us each morning in the garden patio just outside our door.
Our host made dinner reservations for us at places we could not have gotten into ourselves. He told us about a local concert which we attended and enjoyed immensely.
All in all, Palazzo Scotto was an amazing experience that will be difficult to top.
