It was a great experience! The staff is so nice and welcoming. We were there for early check in but they did not have a room ready. They did however got a room ready for us right away. The next morning we had breakfast and coffee downstairs and the staff in the cafe are just as nice as the hotel staff. The room was so clean! It shows that they care for the space and the guests who will occupy them.

The housekeeping service offered by Taciana was wonderful! She has such a wonderful personality. She makes you feel like you’re in her home. The hotel staff were very helpful as there were a few unknowns to us with how some of the amenities worked. Be mindful though that, at the time of our visit, there seemed to be a bit of a disconnect with the Maui Brewing Company, which is connected to the hotel. The left hand doesn’t necessarily know what the right hand is doing there at this moment.

Easy to book online - recommend signing up for loyalty program to access deals. Afternoon arrival, valet was great and helpful. Front desk was great and check in was efficient and easy - very welcoming. Deluxe Oceanview Room - clean and well serviced. Room 1706. Appreciated the use of a mini fridge and coffee machine. Could not fault the location, so central to everything. Such an enjoyable stay, housekeeping was lovely and staff were friendly and helpful.

Our first experience was at the font desk. Kristina checked us in. She was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. We were so happy to meet her after our long flight. We ate at both restaurants and were pleased. Our stay was wonderful!! We will definitely be back

Location, location but sometimes a bed really matters. We enjoyed our stay at the Outrigger Beachcomber on Waikiki and appreciated the amenities. Our room was spacious and well equipped for our stay. Housekeeping and staff were friendly. Our only complaint was never getting a good night's sleep on uncomfortable beds with hard pillows. Hopefully it is not a pattern in all rooms as we will look to stay again in the future.

An amazing stay located conveniently in the heart of Waikiki. The OUTRIGGER Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel provided such a clean and delightful stay we decided to stay another day. Shout out to Kristina for going above and beyond with assisting in booking us a fairly priced rate when we made the decision to extend into the holiday. The hotel staff were kind and generous all around. I'd definitely recommend staying here on your next visit to the beautiful island of Oahu!

We booked 2 stays in February either side of a cruise requesting a quiet room. The first stay, was next to the lift with the bell chiming each time the lift arrived into the early hours. We could not be moved as the hotel claimed to be full We asked for a quiet room for our second visit The receptionist confirmed we had a quiet room but music would be playing till 9pm. At 9.15 I contacted Carmen on reception to ask why the noise was still on. Her response was she never said 9pm finish and nor did anyone else She giggled at the thought that anyone would find this an issue and it would only last till ,10pm. She sent security to the room to apologise. How cowardly.

It's no secret. The Beachcomber is a fantastic place to stay in Waikiki. The hotel attendents and staff are very, very courteous and friendly yet very professional. Kristina was very professional and was wonderful greeting us as we arrived at check in. Nice jacuzzi and pool with spectacular views of Waikiki. The cafè inside the hotel is very charming and nice as well. Little OP (what isn't in Waikiki?) but still very good service. Auana ( cirque de soleil) is must see for sure. Don't miss it! This is our fourth experience at this hotel and it surely won't be the last. Wife loves it here. I love it here. I'm sure you will too.

I don’t get the hype of this property. I chose it because of the reviews for one night. It was overpriced for what it is. 450 a night. The not so great: It’s 50 dollars to check in before 3, which I understand I guess. It just felt like everything was a charge. The pool is super small and was very crowded. The cafe attached is convenient but the food was mediocre at best. We got some soggy fries(like a handful) lol, and the breakfast was not great. The drinks weren’t very yummy from the couple we had. The room was pretty, but the door to the lanai was impossible to open for me. My boyfriend pried it open and it was an awful scraping sound. The ocean view was not worth the extra money. Don’t bother with that. The good: The staff was friendly, the location is good for shopping(right in the city). The beach is across the street. There are chairs and umbrellas available for rent. Be aware the beach is crowded but the sand is super soft and so pretty. Maui Brewing was cool. They had someone singing and the beer was good. It is attached(although out of most food when we got there-no lie). We may try again another day. I would pay the extra for the other Outrigger properties.

We had a relaxing and enjoyable trip for our anniversary and valentines day, hotel was clean and professional. Good amenities were provided and well stocked throughout. Shout out to housekeeper Zhi for fantastic service and a friendly face!

Perfect location. Close to shopping, restaurant and the beach. The atmosphere is fun and welcoming. Hotel is beautiful & room was so nice with a great view. Customer service by everyone we came in contact with was excellent and so friendly. The price was right for our budget.

Room was very nice, clean and loved the balcony. Would recommend to friends.

We were so glad we picked this hotel. It was in SUCH a great area. There were so many stores, restaurants and Target close by. It's a block away from the beach and there was always something to do or see within walking distance. The lobby was clean and comfortable....

We were so glad we picked this hotel. It was in SUCH a great area. There were so many stores, restaurants and Target close by. It's a block away from the beach and there was always something to do or see within walking distance. The lobby was clean and comfortable. The cafe was super cute and everyone was friendly. The brewery had a lot of options on the menu and the waitstaff/hostess was very kind. We were on the 19th floor and had wonderful views of Diamond Head and the ocean. We were right beside the International Marketplace and could look down on it. We did hear some music and noise outside, but realized it was because there was a luau at the marketplace. It wasn't super annoying or anything and was nice to see a luau from above. We also woke up and watched the sunrise most days because it was beautiful. I really do feel this is a great value for all the conveniences and location you have while staying here. We had little things that bugged us a little, though. The trashcans in the room could be bigger. We were using our ABC Store bags for trash throughout the trip. The lighting could be better in the room; it was either too bright or not bright enough. Also, we had a misunderstanding with housekeeping and our room wasn't cleaned when it should have been, so that was a little frustrating. But these things didn't ruin our view of this great hotel. We would definitely recommend it to anyone and would definitely stay there when we're in Honolulu again.

We stayed here as an overnight stop, as we needed to transit through Honolulu on the way back to Australia from the Big Island. The hotel is modern, very well located with the beach just over the road. Smallish pool and the Maui Brewing co on the premises for dinner and drinks. Room was comfortable and we had an ocean view.. between the buildings. Staff were friendly, although the first guy we spoke to just said our room wasn’t ready( we were early), without even checking. The second person found us an available room, because of my IHG status. We left early, so no breakfast, although we’ve eaten at the cafe there before, it’s ok. I’d actually give the hotel a 4 1/2 star rather than 5, but Tripadvisor won’t let me do that. It’s not quite up to a resort standard re the facilities like other outriggers I’ve stayed at, as the pool is very small and it’s a bit short on other facilities , but it served its purpose for the night for us.

Excellent stay overall, and wouldn’t hesitate to return! Every employee I encountered seemed genuinely warm and enthusiastic. I was also very impressed with the cleanliness (must be hard with everyone tracking in sand from the beach!); the spaces are modern and well maintained. Had plenty of fluffy, clean towels each day, which I don’t take for granted! That’s a struggle at some other hotels, where you have to beg for enough after each day. Daily housekeeping is the default, which is nice to see as it had become increasingly rare at hotels across the board after Covid. Felt no need to package in breakfast (vouchers at the downstairs Aroma cafe); so many great choices just outside. Though I was grateful to have the in-house coffee shop on an early morning or two! Good value for the stay, punches above its weight with its service and rooms. Phenomenal location: central to the malls and shops, incredible variety of food everywhere, and just a couple blocks’ easy stroll to the beach. I got a text about a surprise fireworks show at the nearby Royal Hawaiian, and the pool deck gave a very nice, if partially obstructed view. For a free surprise I can just wander down from my room to see, no complaints!! The point is, the great location really gets you set up for those magical moments. I always stayed at a different Outrigger property when I visited Honolulu, but tried Beachcomber this time for the slightly better price. I’m glad I did! I’d absolutely stay again in a heartbeat.
