Old Creek Lodge

The room when we entered was so inviting. It was very clean. The beds were comfortable and the pillows kept their shape. Water pressure in the shower was amazing. Best view off the balcony of the creek below. The fireplace added a nice touch for the weather outside.

They even left us a note on the nightstand because I had mentioned during my reservation that it was our anniversary. We will always come back to Old Creek Lodge. Even in the middle of town, our balcony felt private.

The best place and price! Got there Christmas night and stayed two nights and three days! No complaints! Loved our room and all inside it. It was so beautiful! The creek view from our balcony was peaceful. The desk service and all workers were amazing!

This was my first time staying at the Old Creek Lodge and everything was awesome. Julie at check-in was amazing; she got me in early and an upgrade after realizing I hadn't booked the room I thought I had. The room was clean and the view and hot tub were great. The fireplace needed the pilot light lit, and maintenance took care of it promptly. Also, the gentleman who was working third shift on Thanksgiving night (I didn't catch his name sorry) was super friendly. This place is lucky to have them both working there, they made me feel valued and welcomed. I have been to Gatlinburg over 35 times with my husband over the last 25 years, sometimes 2 or 3 times a year. I stay in a Chalet sometimes, and sometimes I like a hotel near the strip. This will be my go-to hotel from now on. This hotel is also an easy walk to the strip, less than a 4-minute walk, every room has a stream view and there are several restaurants next door and just up the road to walk to.

We loved our Spa King Suite (rm 308) at Old Creek Lodge! Comfy bed, sofa & stuffed chair! Great shower! Large tv. Mini fridge. And, of course, the 3-sided fireplace, which is not only pretty, but very warm! The view was beautiful, esp at sunset! 1 window faces south; the other window, patio door & balcony face west. The room overlooks both the creek & river and has pretty views of the mountains. The hotel is at the western end of town, near the park. It is convenient to restaurants & shops. The trolley stop is only a few yards from the lobby (comes on the half hour), but we just walked to most everything (even with husband's bad knees). Elevators & parking (much of it covered) are convenient! We had their complementary breakfast each day. (The banana bread is wonderful!) The lobby/ front desk/gift shop area is very welcoming! Best of all was the exceptional staff! They were so friendly & helpful! We came for our 40th anniversary & had looked at chalets on the hill, where we've stayed before. But we did not want to spoil our trip driving, waiting in traffic & paying for parking every day. We wanted to get away from that! So glad we found Old Creek Lodge!

Super cozy and clean rooms! The fireplace was great too! This is 100% a walkable hotel to Gatlinburg! It’s was amazing and the staff was very friendly! Oh, and we saw a bear walking back from dinner 😳 close to restaurants and shopping! Highly recommend

The Old Creek Lodge has a great location as it is walking distance to Main Parkway and restaurants and a quick drive to entrances to the National Park and it overlooks the scenic Little Pigeon River. Spent two nights (a Friday and Saturday). Gatlinburg is a very touristy town where many younger folk come to play and drink. Each night we were awoken by folks returning to their rooms near midnight or later slamming doors and proceeding to yell at each other for the next hour or more. Next morning I realized besides thin walls the door between the rooms had about a one to one and a half inch open space at the bottom of the door. You could see the lights from the other room. Otherwise, our stay was pleasant. Parking is on-site but tight since a lot of visitors seem to be driving large trucks. The room itself was fine. Breakfast is included but the dining area is small and the rustic chairs have legs that make walking around a bit hazardous. Staff were efficient and friendly.

Cider and cookies in the afternoon was such a sweet treat! Office employees and maids were so nice and went out of their way to help if you needed it. Highlight of the trip seeing the bears play in the creek. Will definitely come back. I highly recommend!!!!

Great rooms, comfy beds. Nice staff and great location. Highly recommend and will be returning next trip to Gatlinburg and love each room has a fireplace and a private balcony over the creek so you can enjoy a bit of nature and a beautiful view

I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately I just couldn't. The lodge was conveniently located and we were able to walk everywhere in Gatlinburg we wanted to go. However, I was very disappointed in our accommodations. Our room was clean but clearly in need of renovations. The surfaces of the furniture - desk, dresser, night stand - were all worn with the finish coming off. A tiny dead spider came out of the hair dryer the first time I cut it on. Our exterior room door didn't close tightly and early in the morning you could see light all around it as the sun came up and of course, we heard traffic and noises we really didn't want to hear. The room balcony does over look the creek as advertised, and we saw a black bear, but we also saw the back side of the EconoLodge, its residents, and a group of guys smoking pot down on the creek. I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately I just couldn't.

First time for us to stay here. Room was very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the fireplace and creek view. Balcony offered privacy from neighbors. Check in was friendly and efficient. We would definitely stay here again. Nice breakfast area with plenty to choose from.Covered parking available.
