My fiancé and I had the great pleasure of spending 8 days at the Nannai resort, and from the very first moment we were delighted with Marcos' warm welcome. The bungalow we stayed in was simply spectacular, spacious and beautifully decorated, with a breathtaking view and private pool. The decor of the resort as a whole is top of the line, with beautiful flower arrangements spread throughout the property, which impressed us greatly. The extremely friendly staff is always willing to help, making our stay even more enjoyable. The food was another highlight of our experience, with highlights being the Pescada Nordestina from the Tiatê restaurant and the delicious breakfast dishes. The sashimi portion ordered by the pool was delicious and the clothes steamer was a positive surprise, as the quality is excellent and we used it a lot. An incredible spa experience, with a relaxing pool and attentive staff. Even the tea served at the spa was delicious! The room was cleaned impeccably every day. It was a great pleasure to stay at Nannai and we can't wait to come back. We thank everyone for their kindness and attention during our stay. See you soon!

The most amazing resort! We absolutely loved every minute of our stay. We upgraded to a beach front bungalow on arrival, which was an excellent decision as included breakfast & dinner at Tiate restaurant (which is fantastic). The bungalow spacious, beautiful, with private pool and cabana bed (plus view of ocean). The afternoon tea (every day 5pm) includes vegan & gluten free cakes (delicious!) We went to the gym every morning- very modern. We wished we could have stayed longer!

We spent 7 nights at Nannai. From booking till departure, we had great communication with their team. We were given the option to upgrade our room, and ended up with a beautiful seafront villa / bungalow with a private pool. The master villa was nicely appointed, with a Nespresso coffee...

We spent 7 nights at Nannai. From booking till departure, we had great communication with their team. We were given the option to upgrade our room, and ended up with a beautiful seafront villa / bungalow with a private pool. The master villa was nicely appointed, with a Nespresso coffee maker, mini bar, waters, wines, beers, snacks… Linens were delightful, plenty of towels and great amenities in the bathrooms (all by L’Occitane). The villa was very clean, and whatever we needed was promptly brought to us (extra towels, waters, etc). The resort is beautiful and compact, and no villa/room is more than a 2 minute walk from the main pool and restaurants. The main restaurant serves an enormous and very tasty breakfast buffet, with the option of some made-to-order items: egg dishes, tapioca dishes (think crepes, but the crepe is made of tapioca which is a local item that happens to be gluten free and DELICIOUS). Tons of different fruits, breads, cakes!!!, cold cuts, juices, yogurts, coffees… a lavish experience every morning. And, sparkling wine available everyday as well :-) Lunch is served in the main restaurant, at the “a la carte” restaurant Tia Tê, and at Salero (which is a small beachfront spot that serves Spanish-centric foods and tapas). Lunch is not included (extra charge). We had lunch at Salero everyday. You cannot beat the views you get at Salero! And, although their lunch menu is not too large, you can hang out there and order from the other restaurants’ menus as well. The gem of Salero is their main-man, Valdir - such a sweet guy that quickly became a friend during our stay. Nothing was too much trouble for him, he always made us feel spoiled and catered to, and had so many fun stories to tell. We miss him! His colleagues Abraão and Estevam were also so courteous and pleasant. Dinner was served at the main restaurant every night. Buffet style, with a few cook-to-order options: the grill station (with a big variety of meats and seafood to choose from), the pizza and pasta station, and the sushi station. Tons of different hot dishes and salads to choose from every evening. The sushi was surprisingly VERY good (simple rolls, but always very tasty). Dinner is included in your daily rate, but drinks are not. We found the wines to be reasonably priced, and there was a big selection to choose from, covering every wine geography of the world. We mostly chose to try the Brazilian options, which was a nice surprise, as they were all excellent. There was live music every night. It was always tasteful, never too loud. Every evening before and after dinner, we would go to the bar that’s adjacent to the main restaurant to have a cocktail. The bar/lounge area is beautiful and lights up amazingly at night, with gorgeous furniture and decor. The head bartender, Karine, was another friend we made during our trip. She is so pleasant, and incredibly talented! She has a few cocktails on the menu that are her own creation (try the “invisible”!! Such a nice drink…!!). The hotel has invested a lot in her skills, she travels the world to compete in mixology tournaments, and recently won a competition in Spain with her “invisible” drink. She also made every classic cocktail perfectly: caipirinha, daiquiri, margarita, cosmo, whisky sour, Negroni, dry martini, you name it, she knew them all and made them better than most bartenders from back home in NYC (we tried them all :-) ). We truly miss our nights with Karine. Her back-up bartender, Alisson, who was there on her night off, is also very talented. We met a lot of the other guests at the bar and made some great new friendships along the way. The a-la-carte restaurant, Tia Tê, is a great option to add diversity to the dinners, especially for those staying for many nights. They have a lot of regional food options that are worth trying: moqueca, octopus, fishes and crustaceans. They even had fresh/live lobsters one evening. Carlos was our go-to guy at Tia Tê, and he also treated us like family, making our dinners a fantastic experience. The beach is small but nicely taken care of, with drink and food service available. We enjoyed our morning beach walks from the hotel, going to the right until you get to “Cupe” beach, which is a nice 30min stroll away, so there-and-back gave us a nice 1hr walk every day. You can keep going if you so wish as the beach is so long… I believe if you walk 1hr to the right you hit the town of Porto de Galinhas, but we did not go that far. We came in May, and it was hot and humid. Crazy rain storms in the overnight hours (which were fun to watch and hear!), and lots of sun during the day (with a quick rain shower here and there, but the sun would always come out). VERY humid - those that like tropical weather will be in heaven here. We noticed many repeat customers at the hotel. We met a nice couple that have been coming every year for the past 10yrs! Also met some couples in their honeymoon. And there were many families with kids, although we never felt bothered by the kids, the layout of the hotel is such that it gives everyone a corner of their own. We saw a kids club close to the shop and tennis courts. Overall, we always felt a sense of privacy whenever we wanted that. The guests are overwhelmingly from Brazil, we saw very few non-Brazilian guests. The hotel arranged round trip transportation from the airport (it’s a short 40-50min ride). And we were lucky enough that our room was not booked the day after our departure, so they allowed us to have a late checkout, making our departure much less stressful. All in all an excellent experience, and we cannot wait to bring our family to Nannai the next time we come!

A truly luxurious resort that goes the extra mile in every department - they made our honeymoon stay very special and memorable by providing a number of complimentary services and items like breakfast in bed, free spa pass, cocktails at dinner and a parting gift of a nice guava candy cake. Allana and Victor, the Quality Assurance Manager and host, were amazing, providing a great service in English as we didn’t speak Portuguese and catered for our dietary requirements perfectly. They keep you well fed with an awesome breakfast spread, an afternoon tea and big variety for dinner. Nice gym, tennis courts and beach tennis facilities too. Would recommend getting the private Villas (with Garden View) at the back of the resort as they are a bit more secluded for privacy.

It’s a great resort, the best in Pernambuco. Everything is clean and organized. The garden is beautiful. The staff is very nice. The food is delicious and we stayed in a very good apartment. I would go back there and would recommend this resort to anyone out there.

More than an amazing hotel, an amazing experience! Everything was perfectly prepared and we felt all the attention of the staff all the time! Delicious food, breathtaking views, pool and beach, many activities and things to do. I'd definitely recommend!

Before we arrived there, we had the feeling that we wouldn’t leave soon. It was so special, since the very first minute. People are so lovely and they are always making sure that we are feeling special. Every night q small gift. When Alana heard it was our honeymoon, she immediately set up a beautiful breakfast in bed for Us. It was amazing! Severo was the guy who took care of Us when we were at the restaurant. He served us with everything we needed. Such a nice guy. Everyone there were great! The place is beautiful and well decorated. Right at the beach. They also do service at the beach. We had a lot of fun with pedalboard and kayaks. I can’t forget to say that the bangalô we stayed is in our memory forever !

From the first point of contact on arrival to checkout; the service, the accommodation, the food and small attention to detail is what you would expect for a place of quality and Nannai delivered on all of these points. We would highly recommend and are looking forward to future return...
