Marriott Myrtle Beach Resort & Spa at Grande Dunes

Came down from Rhode Island for spring break and it was great! Beach entrance right from the hotel was super convenient. Clean room, incredible view, breakfast was excellent! Our server Mo at the Ocean Cafe was the best! All staff were friendly and super accommodating.

We have always enjoyed staying at the Marriott Myrtle Beach Resort and Spa. The resort is beautiful and the staff are all very personable and positive. The management staff genuinely care about the customer experience and go above and beyond to accommodate their guests. I must be honest and share that we were not excited when we arrived for our stay this particular time because we were surprised to see there were hundreds of moms, grandparents, dads, siblings and young girls there from many states for a major "dance competition" (kind of like the show "Dance Moms' as seen on TV). We were there for a quiet, romantic, relaxing get-away and that is not what we got our first two days/nights. We did not complain, but when I received a review questionnaire on our final evening, I described our disappointment. In a matter of minutes, I received a call from one of the management team. She was so understanding and offered to upgrade our room for the final night, extend our check-out time and provided breakfast the last morning in their lovely restaurant. We did not ask for anything, but the manager was determined to change our experience. We chose not to move rooms since we were leaving the next morning, so the manager refunded our room charge for the final night. We will continue to plan our two or three trips to Myrtle Beach each year and plan to continue booking the Marriott MB Resort and Spa at Grande Dunes.

A beautiful resort! We had planned on a 2 night visit, but with heavy rain & a tornado watch, we extended our stay a night. The bar area is great. We had dinner there 2X. Both times nicely served & delicious. Our stay included breakfast. Mo was very attentive & made sure we were taken care of. He is a real asset in the dining room. The breakfast buffet was superb! We’ll definitely return when we visit the area.

My husband was recovering from surgery right before our wedding on New Year's Eve so we delayed our honeymoon until he was well enough to enjoy the time. The hotel was immaculate, customer service was top tier and the atmosphere was delightful. This will not be our last time at this resort!

Mo is phenomenal! Truly enjoyed his personal service!!! Loved the window seating with the view and last minute accommodation. Everyone was super pleasant and helpful. Sara was great too!! The food was fresh and tasty. The portions were more than ample.

However, eating at the hotel was not quite what we were used to, so we did have some sticker shock. The breakfast at the restaurant wasn't much more than we would have gotten as a continental breakfast, so that was disappointing, especially as we spent close to $70 with a generous tip for the server who was great! Had the same experience the night before at the bar/lounge. However, we chalked it up to a great overall experience, but definitely will know better next time. The rooms were clean, so that was a big plus, as was the cleanliness of the hotel overall. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were lacking. Location is convenient, and the pool/deck area was lovely!

Our encounter with Arlando was incredibly amazing! He exceeded all expectations in helping us with our needs, and his kindness was truly outstanding. He ensured that we had everything we needed and went the extra mile to ensure our comfort.

Mo was an excellent server at the restaurant. We will def be back because of him. He is so friendly & attentive. We enjoyed several conversations with him & found out he has been at the Marriott for over 20 years. The breakfast buffet is excellent-highly recommend it.

Mo from the breakfast diner was amazing! Super friendly and was very informative of the food and things to do at the resort and around Myrtle Beach. The food was incredible and so was the view while eating. I would come back just for his services

Mo provided excellent service for breakfast. We shared great conversations regarding sports and the Packers! He was kind and made us feel welcomed. He provided great hospitality by checking in on us and offering tips for while vacationing in South Carolina.

Delicious food! Loved my crab stuffed shrimps. Beautiful view of the ocean! Great service from Arlando! Very attentive. Definitely would return with friends and highly recommend to any visitors to Myrtle Beach or North Myrtle Beach. It’s great!

Stopped in for breakfast when staying at the Marriott. Mo really took care of us. He was very attentive and personable. Breakfast buffet was good. Had the usual scrambled eggs and sides; cereal and other cold items. You could also do eggs to order. Will be back!

Mo at the breakfast buffet is amazing! Amazing service very helpful. Buffet has plenty of cold and hot choices for a great breakfast. Resort has great views and the beach is very walkable. Multiple pools and pool side dining available with a great menu.

We had the pleasure of dining at Ocean’s on 82nd at the Marriott Myrtle Beach Resort & Spa, and what made our dinner truly memorable was our server, Nadia. From the moment we were seated, Nadia greeted us with a warm smile that seemed to brighten the whole restaurant—even at the end of what must have been a long day. She was positive, friendly, and incredibly attentive without ever being intrusive. She immediately seemed to sense that we were travel-weary and hoping for a quiet, relaxing dinner—and she delivered just that. Nadia made us feel welcome and cared for, and because of her, we enjoyed a great meal and a refreshing and uplifting experience. She’s the kind of server who turns a simple dinner into a lasting memory. Thank you, Nadia. You were amazing. Marriott, you’ve got a gem on your team!

Nadia was an incredible server and made our meal even more enjoyable! The food was excellent and a perfect end to our evening. I suggest the potato encrusted grouper and the reserve makers mark bourbon! My partner the crab stuffed salmon which was also amazing
