Margaritaville Resort Gatlinburg

This is a wonderful place to stay. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Property is well maintained. Rooms are very clean. This was our second time staying here and was fantastic. Our room was on the seventh floor. I have attached pictures of the snow from our balconey.

Outdoor area has a fire pit near the water & fireplace on patio is enjoyable too. The colors & decor are amazing. It snowed & room 408 was a perect spot to see the mountains! Beautiful. I enjoyed a facial @ the spa w/ Kayla & she is the best! She did a fantastic job & such a professional in every way! Enjoyed it very much! Thank you Kayla it was such a pleasure .

This is our 2nd stay at this hotel. The atmosphere is so relaxing. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and are truly glad you’re there. The food at the bistro is wonderful and convient. This location has a pool and hot tub. We stayed in and out of the hot tub and watched it snow. The indoor pool is fun and heated. They also have an outdoor pool in the summer. The room was exceptional. King bed was amazing and the pool view balcony had beautiful views. The room has a walk in rain shower and heated simulated fire place. We even had our own robes. My hats off to housekeeping, they greeted us every time they seen us and asked if we needed anything which was above and beyond their job duties ( the room was super clean and smelled so good). This location also has a very enjoyable bar. The location is right in the heart of the Gatlinburg strip so you can park and walk all around town.

Who goes to stay in a mountain hotel when it’s freezing? We do!! Margaritaville in Gatlinburg is a great place to stay in lousy weather. The lobby is a destination all its own. All the comfy “swings” & seating, the comfy bar area, the conversation areas, it feels as if you’re the only ones there. The music is great & if you want a drink or some nibbles, you’re set!! The bar has appetizers & even full on meals. Great service. There are parrots in pretty plexiglass habitats. Turns out, they’re rescue parrots!!! There’s a local place, parrot mountain, that rescues parrots. They come there & hang out! One of the managers had one riding on her shoulder as it reported for work & that was the happiest parrot. It obviously loves being there. So nice!! My nails were awful, so I decided to give the spa a try. I got a gel mani from the sweetest lady!! Stacey gave the best hand and arm massage, along with getting my nails all beautifully blue & glittery!! My hands are so soft! I would love to come back & get a pedi. Oh, and a body scrub. And a massage. And a facial. And… Now, on to the reason you go to a hotel! The rooms! We got a Queen pool view. The beds are gloriously perfect. Like Baby Bear’s bed: not too soft, not too firm. The sheets are soft, there are a bajillion pillows. It’s like heaven. The room is so quiet, I slept like the dead. The lamp between the beds has a USB port to charge your phone AND an actual outlet as well. So, I could plug in my CPAP without digging to find an outlet. The bedside chair was soft & a good reading chair. We didn’t use the table with the 2 chairs, but it was cute. Hubby used the coffee maker & that was a nice touch. The shower deserves its own zip code and has 3 shower heads! A rainfall straight from the ceiling, a big fixed head, and a handheld. It was lovely! And the soaker tub was fantastic. The only thing I can find to even remotely nitpick is that the body wash & shampoo were not the spa brand (Saint Somewhere) that we had the last time we stayed. The ones we had this time were a coconut cream, but didn’t smell at all. They also weren’t as great as the ones we had last time. But, seriously, that’s so minor. I cannot recommend this beautiful oasis in the mountains strongly enough. It cured our winter blues and we left so relaxed & happy.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE SPA!!!! Cody is hands down the best deep tissue massage therapist. If you are looking for a massage that will make you feel so much better I highly recommend scheduling an appointment here!! Ask for CODY you will not be disappointed!!

We normally visit Pigeon Forge and rarely Gatlinburg but we wanted to see the Christmas lights there as well. When searching online for accommodation I discovered the Margaritaville Resort and booked. We have stayed at other Margaritaville Hotels before and like the chain. Upon arrival we found the hotel was very clean, and very inviting. The staff was great, room very clean, and location in Gatlinburg is pretty much prime. The worst part about the Hotel is getting into the entrance from the main stripe because of so much pedestrian foot traffic and they don’t pay attention, but this is t the hotels fault. I will stay here again in the future.

We stayed in Jimmy’s Hideaway and the place is amazing. Maintenance is poor. Cleanliness needs just a little encouragement and coaching. Generally we would love this place, but when we left an internal review listing the issues that need to be addressed, the management was dismissive to the point we realized they don’t care and our 3-4 star review should be 2 solely based on the attitude of the management. They’re out of touch and don’t understand hospitality. That’s sad because the place could be 5 stars easily with even decent management.

We had a wonderful experience staying here. Our room was large, with a comfortable bed. The bathroom has a HUGE shower and was very clean! The staff is friendly and helpful!! The lobby is beautiful, well appointed and smells like DONUTS!!! Thank you for a fantastic experience!!

The Spa service was EXCELLENT! I highly recommend Diana and Chris. My wife and I had the couple session and we loved it. Very friendly staff at resort. It is also conveniently located close to everything in Gatlinburg. It is our favorite place to stay in Gatlinburg.
