Great hospitality from entrance. I was greet infront of hotel entrance by people there and it immediately make me feel much more comfortable. He greeting me and told me that next time the hotel can provide valet service and I do not have to park by myself. All the staff during walking to the check in desk all the way to the room was outstanding and very efficient. I do not know what but all the welcome and all contact from door to check in desk up to my room really make me feel easy and comfortable not awkward or tense. Breakfast is great with all the staff very helpful and delight. Kitchen staff seems a bit busy for breakfast and may need to improve on this hospitality.

Amazing pool food and people never been as impressed with accommodation in my life . The setting and quality of breakfast just out of this world . Stay nowhere else and the garden and surrounds amazing. Thankyou Mandarin Oriental will be back 🇹🇭

The best services and nice staff for checkin ,Cleanest room ,good location of hotel and panorama room view of Chaopraya river . The best ABF in the hotel, Lodjim lunch buffet and dinner at Veranda are good taste and good side seeing in Chaopraya river in daytime and night time.

35 years ago, I stayed at the Mandarin with my sister and it has always remained in my mind the best hotel experience I ever had. Returning with my husband, we were just blown away by our visit. Checking in after a long flight at 6:30 am and finding our room ready was very welcome. The upgrade received as a Fan of MO was brilliant. The butler couldn’t do enough for us, the pool staff were efficient and cheery, the Verandah breakfast was the best breakfast ever, everything about the hotel is perfect. On leaving, it was a lovely touch to be met again by the same MOBK gentlemen at the airport and they didn’t leave our side until we were going through passport control - if that’s not service, I don’t know what is!

I stayed at your hotel from March 1st to 2nd. I have long been aware of your hotel's reputation and heritage, and I must say that your hotel’s interior, staff uniforms, and efforts in providing excellent service were remarkable. I frequently travel to Bangkok because it is home to many global luxury hotels. During this trip, I also stayed at The Ritz-Carlton Bangkok, and a year ago, I visited Capella Bangkok and Four Seasons Bangkok. This time, I visited your hotel for the first time. Unfortunately, I found my experience somewhat disappointing. I have stayed at hotels costing more than 30,000 THB per night, but I felt that the price I paid for the Mandarin Oriental Bangkok was not justified. First, the service quality of your staff was lacking. While some staff members were friendly, others lacked a true service mindset. For example, I approached the concierge on the first floor to ask if there was a hotel map or guide available. The staff member simply replied, "No," without any further explanation. Additionally, when I visited the Authors' Lounge, I was unaware that only à la carte coffee was available. The staff simply told me that I could not order anything else. I understand why they responded this way, but as employees of a five-star hotel, they should not just say "no." Instead, they should provide alternatives and solutions—that is what true service is. Later, I found a hotel map in the in-room guidebook. Why didn’t the concierge staff inform me about it? Similarly, why didn’t the Authors' Lounge staff suggest another dining venue? Saying "no" is the easiest response, but even staff at three- or four-star hotels can do that. Furthermore, I brought my camera because I wanted to take video footage of the hotel. Of course, I was careful not to film any other guests—only the hotel facilities and food. However, when I was having breakfast at the Verandah restaurant, an older staff member pointed at me and made an "X" sign with their hands. I was very disappointed with this reaction. If filming was not allowed, the staff should have approached me politely and explained the reason while requesting that I stop. Are you aware that the staff at the pool rarely smile? Second, due to the high number of external visitors, your hotel does not pay enough attention to in-house guests. I felt that your team did not prioritize guests over outside visitors. If that’s the case, why should I stay at your hotel? On my next visit, I may choose to dine at your restaurants or visit your lounges rather than stay overnight. Guests want to feel recognized and warmly welcomed by the hotel staff. However, I did not get that impression at your hotel. I have never felt this way at other luxury hotels in Bangkok. Other hotels truly take great care of their in-house guests. Your hotel has a long history and tradition, which is something to be proud of. However, as you know, the hospitality industry continues to evolve. Many hotels now implement mobile applications to enhance guest convenience. While I understand that your brand philosophy may be different, in that case, your staff’s service should be exceptionally outstanding and distinguished from others. Wearing elegant uniforms does not automatically elevate the quality of service. I visited from South Korea. Many Koreans may not be familiar with Mandarin Oriental Bangkok. Additionally, Koreans want a high value on hotel service. If your hotel considers Korean guests important, these issues must be addressed. That is all.

The hotel is a delight and we thoroughly enjoyed our four days there. The room was lovely and the balcony overlooking the river made a difference watching everything at night. Staff faultless and excellent breakfasts - looking forward to going back

This is a seriously great hotel, run by a superb and well-lead team. Standards across the board are exceptionally high. World class in all respects. Delicious food, excellent facilities, brilliant staff, highly comfortable facilities - just sublime!
