Our stay at the mahogany bay was vey comfortable and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The front desk, concierge and the Verandah restaurant staff went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. Shout out to Elveria and Miguel at breakfast, at Verandah for their cheery helpfulness. One note about the report is that they do room service by request, and you do have to request towel replacements when you need them. They also do sustainable practices which we liked, like glass water bottles that you can refill at the water station as needed.

Loved our stay here so much we couldn’t have asked for anything better, mahogany bay owes us nothing, KIMBERLY is such an accommodating staff ask for her !! she took care of us like family. Can’t wait to come back one of the best experiences of my life.

Your people make the difference. It was dark when I arrived and it was a last minute booking of the hotel. The hotel arranged my transfer from the water taxi to the hotel. I was also able to eat a late dinner at the restaurant and Jasmin C helped us figure out the menu and always had a smile on her face. Later in the trip we decided to drive to Secret beach and needed to borrow towels and Sephanie was happy to help us. She also arranged our transport for our departure date to the water taxi The front desk always helpful as well as security especially Alan. What an amazing stay at Mahogany Bay! Such a beautiful property with such a pleasant staff. Although we did not utilize all the amenities at the resort we did enjoy the gorgeous pool area one afternoon and met amazing guests from all parts of the states. The front desk was very accommodating from setting up our taxis and helping get our golf cart supplied with ice for our road trips. Our last morning we decided to have breakfast at the resort and it was 10/10!! The servers were so attentive and kind. Miguel and Elvi made sure to make our last and only meal there memorable. Their service solidified our decision to visit back and stay at this same resort with our teens. We will be back and using more of the amenities and restaurants on site with our family. Thank you to all the staff during our stay but a special thanks to Miguel and Elvi, but we will see you again!! -Elo & Alex

The best part of the resort is the reason why I booked it - the ride to the private beach. Starting off with inclusions, there was no welcome drink, no robes in the room and all the bottle holders in the shower were empty with no products to be found....

The best part of the resort is the reason why I booked it - the ride to the private beach. Starting off with inclusions, there was no welcome drink, no robes in the room and all the bottle holders in the shower were empty with no products to be found. A couple of the towels were dirty so we had to call for new ones. These are all cabins with screens and folding shutters which means they are not light proof and not sound proof. At 8am we started to hear all the music and tv programs played by our neighbours, plus the woodpecker on our wall and range of birds. Because of the openness there were a lot of bugs in the room, notably many small ants in our bed. We stayed 4 nights and housekeeping did not come to our room a single time. For the price and the brand I was expecting much better.

Amazing time. Best part was Kimberly at breakfast. She made great daily suggestions for activities and dining experiences. Always kind and a great smile to start the day. Facilities were nice and the amenities were plentiful. Would definitely recommend for ppl looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway

The hotel was nice, the rooms were very clean, the private beach club was very nice and accommodating, and Kimberly, our breakfast server was amazing!!! Kimberly was the best server and really made my birthday special. We will definitely be back!

While the hotel itself was good, the service at the restaurant and bar was spectacular. Miguel and Elvira tag-teamed at breakfast, attending to us with humor and genuine smiles. Ivera took care of us at dinner, and was always equally hospitable. At the bar, Malique was delightful. Elias seemed to be the master of all trades and was always available to help out at the bar, pool, or restaurant. This little collection of people makes our stay so pleasant! Thank you for starting us off right in the mornings and carrying through the superb service all day long! They were all kept beyond busy, but managed to make us feel like a priority.

Mahogany Bay was an absolute delight. The staff was so friendly and answered every request above and beyond. We received an upgrade to a two-queen-keeping suite, which was perfect. The private beach is incredible—a quick boat ride away, a quiet paradise. The on-site shops and restaurants were fabulous. Our favorite was The Pool Club, which I will review separately. Many of the negative comments we read here did not happen to us. Bugs—we did not receive one bite but brought and used bug spray. We did not experience Sea Lice, but again, we used an oil-based sunscreen. You can occasionally hear your neighbors, but it was not bothersome. Overall, it was wonderful to be located on the island's south side, away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. Choose Mahogany Bay; you will be delighted.

The beach club private beach was great. Big up our server Kenroy who made sure we were always ok. The boat ride was also wonderfully. We had a great captain and captain . Boat was always in time no waiting around. They also rescued a lady that fell off her Seadoo.

Great place to stay for your time in San Pedro. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The private beach was the perfect place to get some fresh air and relax. Order the ceviche and thank me later! Kenroy made sure we didn’t want for anything.

My husband and I visited Belize for the first time and stayed at the Hilton. As Hilton Diamond members, we’re no strangers to Hilton properties, and we can’t say enough great things about this location. To be clear, it’s not a luxury experience by U.S. standards, but it is a fantastic place to stay—mainly because of the staff. They are incredibly accommodating, kind, and always present, making the experience truly special. While we received outstanding service across the board, we want to give a special mention to Gilmer and Malique for going above and beyond. The concierge services were also excellent and helped us arrange several fishing trips, archaeological tours, and other adventures with ease. We really appreciated how seamless they made the planning process. We also loved having access to the private island—it was a beautiful and relaxing escape. The dining options on-site were great as well, offering a variety of delicious meals that made it easy to enjoy quality food without having to leave the resort when needed. We also enjoyed renting a golf cart and going into town to enjoy more of the local scene. For anyone visiting, a quick tip—be sure to tip the amazing staff members in cash! They absolutely deserve it.

It was a different experience compared to other Curio Collections. We had a mini kitchen but no cookware or dishes or silverware. There was a nice mini fridge though that came in handy. Another problem was on the day we were going on an all day catamaran tour, we asked the concierge to arrange for our room to be cleaned. When we returned it had not been cleaned. No one told us that there’s a card you put next to our door outside. They sent us someone to clean the room right away. We dined in the Veranda several times which was very enjoyable and the food was delicious. We enjoyed the pool several times. We went to the Beach Club a few times and enjoyed the water, drinks and lunch.The staff was very accommodating and made our stay enjoyable.
