This is a very nice property, and we were pleased with our experience. Our main disappointment had to do with being there on a Wednesday night. Enticed by a promotional room rate, we found that restaurants were either closed or operating in reduced ways (such as no table service). Otherwise, this would be a 5-star review. This is indeed a large resort with a golf course, pools, and lazy river. Our “executive king” room was very nice and spacious with water views. For a casino property, the guest rooms and hallways were especially quiet. The casino is huge—one could get lost therein. We found the overall experience very good and a lot more fun than just staying in a hotel along I-10.

Nice rooms that have been newly renovated, it was almost as nice as the golden nugget next door but more of a cozy feel in the casino. The only complaint we had was that we could hear everything in the hallways, people talking I mean we could hear everything, doors slamming. Beds are really comfortable and pillows were perfectly firm.

We hadn't visited since pre-covid in 2020. The hotel made us aware the resort was under construction, being renovated. They gave us a newly renovated room and it was nice. It was bright, clean, the pillows were amazing, the AC was cold and the bathroom had a nice walk in...

We hadn't visited since pre-covid in 2020. The hotel made us aware the resort was under construction, being renovated. They gave us a newly renovated room and it was nice. It was bright, clean, the pillows were amazing, the AC was cold and the bathroom had a nice walk in shower, giving off Vegas vibes, 100%. They even equipped the room with ear plugs, in case the noise from the renovations were too loud. We never used them nor did we hear anything. My only complaint is that there wasn't anywhere to put your clothes away, nor was there a luggage rack so they stayed in our bags, on the floor. We ate at Ember Steak House which was fantastic! Drinks were weak, but the food made up for it. Pre- covid, it was just okay. Now onto the rest. The pool could've been better had someone been out there handing out towels (no towels, whatsoever) . They're weren't near enough floats to go around, for those who wanted to enjoy the lazy river. The bar staff out there were non-existent. The slot machines were TIGHT! I probably hit 20 top dollar features, and never had an offer over $40, playing $5 machines, at $20 to $30 a pull, depending on the machine. We came with 6 other people, all had the same experience, one of which only played in the high limits room. Breakfast at Mr. Sanchez, was decent, but slow. The Asian place was phenomenal, as I remembered and the hot dog place had about 10 frozen drinks on tap. They were tasty, but also weak. The arcade also remains. Overall, I might return, but not at their current room rates with their machines being a tight as they were. I don't typically go to the casino to come home with a pocket full of money, but I do enjoy my time in a casino, more when there's a little cat and mouse game with the machines. Which wasn't the case here.

We stayed here to see Jeff Dunham. I’ve stayed in the same type of room at motel 6 only cheaper. Outdated and overpriced. The layout is good and so are the restaurants. The casino is a rip off. Minimum bets on the tables start at $25 and go up to $50 at 10p. Again the room was small and horrible for a “luxury” room. Avoid.

Yes, there is construction! Yes, it's on their website, but when I called AND when I did an online chat to find out the level of disturbance and what kind of construction, I was assured that it wouldn't effect our stay in any way. But boy does it effect your stay! If you want to sleep anyway. We were in the Garden tower and the noise started at 7:30 am and by noise I mean pneumatic drill level. Forget taking a nap or reading or working, because you can't. BUT if you'll be in the pool area or the inside of the resort, then you will have a pleasant experience! Almost everyone was friendly and helpful, everywhere we ate was delicious (The Ember and Johnny Sanchez especially!). The dealers were fantastic! Also, you shouldn't have to do this, but maybe bring your own tubes for the lazy river bcuz there were like 20 of them for a couple hundred swimmers. Last time we were there, tubes outnumbered guests. Guess they blew away in the hurricane. By the end of our 4 night stay, we dragged our weary, sleep-deprived carcasses to check out and Amber, the front desk manager, turned our frowns upside down....she addressed our concerns and was just awesome in general! Customer service DOES matter, and a big shout out to Amber for validating our concerns. We will be back:)

Visited L’Auberge for a 2 night stay to relax and gamble. The resort has changed a lot from our last visit. First, most of the staff we interacted were friendly, food was good, and the pool area was pretty. Hot tub in adult pool area is so rough. It needs refinished. However, the facility is in dire need of maintenance. Our room was in the Garden Tower. The toilet ran and made a gurgling racket all night. The walls would intermittently vibrate and almost drown out the toilet noises.We got no sleep on night 1. I tried to report the toilet problem but no one at the Front desk would pick up the phone! Finally got a hold of someone who said it would be fixed. They refused to move up to a different room. Night 2, the wall vibration noise was back. Honestly, it was awful. This was all night long and unrelated to the construction going on. They also don’t clean your room or refresh towels/coffee/water. We didn’t know this. You must call(no one will answer) to request a room cleaning. They blame “Covid” for this. Many restaurants and shops were closed during our visit. I was sad at the changes.

Used to be a quality hotel with a nice casino. Now the rooms are outdated with burn holes in the carpet, chipped furniture, a shower curtain around a tub, and a small tv. Needless to say, they haven’t kept the place up. The casino is only so-so with old stools and very few wait staff. For $300 a night, we expected better. The only reason for 2 stars is the friendly staff, everyone was very nice and courteous. And there’s a nice walkway to the other casino.
