We only stayed here for one night prior to our ship expedition to Antarctica. The resort is located on a hill about 15 mins drive from Ushuaia - we weren't so interested in the town centre at this time so the location was perfect. Very comfortable room, well appointed, overlooking the forest to the rear of the hotel. Service excellent. We had lunch at the bar twice - service quick. We had dinner at the restaurant - excellent food and service. We had a few hours to spare so we took a hike through the forest to the rear of the hotel - staff gave us directions - well worthwhile if hiking is your thing. Highly recommend.

Las Hayas is a lovely hotel for a few days stay. The public areas are beautiful with well thought out configurations conducive to conversation and cocktails. There common areas sport solid décor that isn’t trailblazing but is certainly comfortable and creates an upscale rustic atmosphere. There is a good spa with above average therapists and additional daily activities like archery class, meditation and other pursuits. Where Las Hayas disappoints is in the guestrooms themselves. They are DATED! Grandmas wallpaper and matching bedspread with tired carpeting and furnishings that scream Prince’s 1999 and not in a good way. Clearly the hotel has spent all their money renovating the public areas. I can only hope that the guestrooms will be addressed in the next phase of renovation, it is sorely needed. Drinks and desserts in the bar area offer a lovely view but poor choice of food and dessert items that are overpriced for the quality. Drinks are mediocre art best and inconsistent in delivery and construction.

We stayed at the Resort and had dinner and drinks here - had excellent service from Brenda who gave us a wonderful wine recommendation and was really friendly and knowledgeable. Great stay ahead of our trip to Antarctica. The hiking trail next to the hotel is fabulous - would recommend.

We enjoyed the hotel, excellent amenities, the spa staff were amazing, Soledad was great. The views and facilities are amazing. We had to move to a different hotel that was included in our tour and didn’t match Las Hayas excellence. We will come back. Great job!

Really enjoyed stay at Las Hayas. Hotel is filled with activities which made the trip so much more fun. Breakfast was delicious and especially appreciate Augustine and team making an iced coffee, which wasn’t as easy to find in Argentina. Highly recommend!

The location and views, the interior design and decorations and the nice staff are good enough to make one forget about the disappointment on the unavailability of the pool. The good breakfast is served in a very nice space of the hotel. Very good place to be based in Ushuaia!

Excellent 5 star hotel, with gorgeous views both of the Beagle Channel and the mountains surrounding Ushuaia. Superb location in that you are relatively close to the centre of Ushuaia (approximately 10 minutes taxi or van ride - taxis are not expensive and the hotel also provides its own (free) van service) but also in the middle of a beautiful forested area and close to Glaciar Martial - for those who want to do some walking/trekking. The hotel itself is all that you would expect from a 5 star: lovely lobby area, good facilities, high quality breakfast (especially the machine for freshly squeezed orange juice), a top class hotel restaurant, good, reasonably quiet rooms (with good sized windows to enjoy the view), and friendly, helpful and professional staff. We were particularly well looked after by Nicolas in the hotel bar/restaurant and by Fernan who took us on a beautiful (and gentle) 2 hour walk into the forests above the hotel and to a couple of viewpoints. But all the staff were good. We were sad to leave and thoroughly recommend the hotel to others.

The hotel is located up in the mountains so it’s so quiet and calm. Also, it has an incredible view of the city. The room was perfectly warm and so calm, we were able to sleep like babies and feel nothing but peace. Also, nicely decorated and has enough space....

The hotel is located up in the mountains so it’s so quiet and calm. Also, it has an incredible view of the city. The room was perfectly warm and so calm, we were able to sleep like babies and feel nothing but peace. Also, nicely decorated and has enough space. Everything was so clean and organized. The jacuzzis were so delicious, there’s even one outside! Always neat and with great warmth. The spa was amazing! Very beautiful, excellent music, great and talented people and a great variety of massages. People at the hotel are very very very kind and welcoming. They make you feel you have to worry about nothing. And everything is easy. You ask, and they kindly guide you to what you need and provide help and answers in such a timely manner. The food is insanely exquisite! The breakfast is abundant with so many options, and the restaurant Le Martial offers great local plates like black merluza. The hotel algo offers a free shuttle to the city and back, so your transportation is also covered. The hotel also provides free activities such as trekking into the woods, to the Martial glacier, archery and more! It really has it all! :)

Ushuaia is a cruise ship town in peak season so this hotel gives you a welcome break from the crowds as it sits up on a hill overlooking the town and water. There are hiking trails directly behind the hotel that offer great views too. You will want an uber to go to/from town as it is a bit of an uphill climb but those are inexpensive and easy to get. Breakfast we nicely done and included. The spa is a hidden gem with nice massage and facial options in a lovely location for a very reasonable price.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff and facilities are excellent. It’s a little way outside of Ushuaia itself but they have a free bus transfer during the day. The restaurant here is also excellent. Highly recommend Las Hayas if you are visiting Ushuaia.

Very good infrastructure (pool, spa, gym) and helpful staff. Rooms with excellent views. The breakfast was fantastic. There is transportation available from the hotel to the city center. Near the hotel there are some trails and the Marcial Glacier

It had everything you could want or need. The free shuttle to town is such a great service as well. If you miss that it's only a $5 taxi ride into town. We stayed here for 5 days prior to our Antarctica expedition and we were so comfortable. The breakfast was phenomenal and there was so much to choose from. The staff was so professional, friendly, welcoming and helpful. We did the nature hike in back of the hotel on our own and it was absolutely beautiful although very muddy which the hotel embraces.
