Reviews of Lajitas Golf Resort

Not a resort

Poorly run golf course-dated and poorly soundproofed accommodations-no elevators-it feels like a Motel6 with a western theme-another reason not to come to this part of Texas! Food is nothing special , staff is nice but doesn’t make a difference

Good golf, food and fun

Very comfortable accommodations in the middle of no-where! This is our fourth visit to the Lajitas golf resort in last 10 years. Very challenging golf course with equally challenging greens. Food in restaurant was excellent. What can you say about big bend! And all this and we’re still in Texas!

Paradise

Great oasis in the desert. First class accommodations! Shot Sporting Clays and had a blast! Well laid out coarse with a great host. Cafe, if you want to call it that, more of a 5 star restaurant, has great choices and great food. Staff was awesome.

Beautiful location next to the Rio Grande

Lovely resort stop as part of a road trip around Texas and New Mexico. Spacious, comfortable, clean rooms. No lift so it's a bit of an effort getting your cases upstairs but staff are very willing to help. Croatian chef at the restaurant was lovely and gave us some tips...

You have to either walk there or call for golf cart ride over to use from hotel. No elevator. Must use stairs to 2nd floor.Reservations are req’d for restaurant, but no indication...

Don’t Stay Here

Stayed at the,”Ambush house”. NO housekeeping, floors were sandy throughout, NO coffee, No filters, house being built next door which workers and owners constantly blocked entrance to our facility. Paid over $1,000.00 a day for a dump. Won’t ever stay there again.

Couples vs Couples

Me and my husband got together with a few friends/couples and played 4 rounds of golf in a amazing weather on a very competitive but yet fun golf course. I hate to mention it but me and my husband came out on top. Great option for lunch on ground and...
