We absolutely loved this oasis close to the centre of Hoi An. It takes about 30 mins to walk to the ancient town. Impeccable service, ready smiles, pristine rooms and beautiful gardens. It’s a very fine hotel and everything works like clockwork. Yes, we had the good fortune to receive an upgrade upon check in to the Executive Club Suite overlooking the infinity pool, but really it’s the staff here who make the place special…. Grateful thanks to Hang for her kindness and genuine warmth.

This hotel has been an incredible experience. From the kindness of everyone working there, to the amazing room, the pools, the gym, and the delicious and complete breakfast. It’s a 10-minute walk from the center. In short, a fantastic experience that we would repeat with our eyes closed.

We had a most amazing time, from the start.
Sunny from the front office was checking us in and explained everything what is important to know, because it was our first time there. It was extremely helpful to get some inside information. She shows us our room which was very clean comfortable with a most beautiful view. She looked after us very well even in the upcoming days, always feel very welcomed and looked after. The whole hotel was amazing a pice of paradise with a modern touch. We had dinner in the Tample restaurant where the service and food was out of this world. Top class dishes and excellent team, they even have a pre birthday surprise buy the team. I am forever grateful for that. Thank you for Tam and Pho and the whole team.
We were sad to leave but definitely will be back. Thank you La Siesta resort! See you all soon.

La Siesta rates as one of the best hotels we have stayed in. Pros: location, only a 10 min walk to town although the road can be very busy with scooters; the staff are fantastic and can't do enough for you; very good breakfast selection and both restaurants serve very good food in the evening with the Red Bean being cheaper; the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing with 4 pools and plenty of sunbeds; try the spa, I had one if the best massages during my stay; a shuttle bus will take you to the sister beach bar and restaurant resort and collect you.
Cons: soundproofing can be an issue. We had a noisy pipe making a very loud noise our first night but we were immediately moved to a temporary room our first night and we're given a new room for the duration of our stay. Rooms and bathrooms are a little smaller than you would expect for a hotel of this standard but that wasn't a problem for us. Would we recommend La Siesta? Definitely.

Almost unfaultable (is that a word?)

There are multiple pools, one was freezing (but tolerable for a little while) another heated enough to be enjoyable. Tiniest thing is that the rooms do not have blackout curtains, not a fault, just an observation. Not a big deal at all, but is a thing for some people. Bed was so comfortable. Staff so lovely. Would absolutely come back again. Location wise I would make sure you are happy with where it is. It's about 10-15 walk to the Old City, sometimes on the road, and the footpaths are cracked. But if you are happy doing that (and we were) or you just jump in a taxi or Grab - it's not an issue at all. Restaurant (Temple) was lovely. Breakfast should have something for everyone. I would not think you could complain about this place!

Excellent hotel service from all the staff. When newly arrived they helped us with menu choices in their restaurants. Breakfast was extensive with plenty of European and Asian choices. Lovely room with balcony overlooking one of four pools.
Very happy we chose this hotel

The drinks were tasty, albeit a bit expensive by Vietnam standards. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful. A particular shout out to concierge Hoang who was so pleasant and helpful—-he gave us great suggestions, helped arrange tours, and helped arrange rides!!!
The only thing I would mention they could improve, is the bathtub is really short so you can’t really use it. I booked a room with a bath because I do enjoy a nice soak, so this was a little disappointing. Having said that it certainly did not track significantly from our stay and they had a very nice rainfall shower to use
I would definitely recommend this hotel and happily stay again

From the moment we checked into the hotel we were made to feel like we were in a small guest house with a highly personalised experience for such a big hotel. Hoang especially made sure we had everything we needed. He was extremely attentive and messaged us each morning to see if we needed assistance with planing our days and would greet us with a warm welcome each time he saw us passing in the hotel or at breakfast. The hotel facilities were absolutely wonderful with the four amazing pools. The breakfast soups were delicious.
I would definitely return to the hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hoi An

Although we were not travelling with young children there were a lot at this hotel who seemed to be enjoying themselves at the the various pools and at breakfast.
The hotel is about 10-15 mins from the old town. There is a hotel shuttle bus although it was not that regular and there isn’t one operating in the evening. We overhead someone ask for the electric car but we had no idea what that was about. The shuttle bus does take people to the nearby beach which we took advantage of. The hotel has a beach club which is lovely.
We were staying in the Club wing and breakfast for these rooms is served at the Temple restaurant. Our room overlooked the main pool so was quite noisy during the day. There are a couple of quieter pools: one by the lobby and the infinity pool overlooking the rice fields. The room was large with a large balcony. The shower was fab. I wish there were more shelves in the bathroom area rather than having to leave toiletry bags on the floor.
Breakfasts were very tasty and they offered some dishes to order including French Toast and eggs Benedict. We had street food buffet at the Red Bean restaurant which again was very tasty. One of the staff Hoang was particularly helpful to us and it was useful to have a specific contact if we needed any assistance. The staff were friendly but they were less engaging than the staff at our previous hotel (Pilgrimage Village in Hue) where they all greeted us as we walked around the resort.
We also enjoyed playing billiards at the garden billiard table

La Siesta Hoi An Resort and Retreat is an amazing hotel which we were lucky enough to spend 5 days at. Upon arrival we were immediately welcomed by Ms Hang with a lovely refreshing drink and towel. Ms Hang then provided us with all the details of the hotel, showing us around and even offering us a better room. Throughout out stay each day Ms Hang made a point of checking with us that everything was OK and to see if we needed anything, we really appreciated this kindness and attentiveness.
All the staff at La Siesta are exceptional, the doormen, gardeners, waitresses, bar men, cleaning staff, everyone has a smile on their face, always greeting you and all seem very happy which is so lovely to see. The management at La Siesta should be commended for running such a wonderful hotel, where everything runs so smoothly an efficiently and everyone is happy. I met Mr Mike, the Manager (sorry didn't catch his surname) and you can tell he is a perfectionist, with great organisational and man management skills. We were lucky enough to be present whilst a wedding was taking place at the hotel. It looked amazing and the attention to detail was superb.
I spoke to the Father of the Bride who was over the moon with how it had all gone,.
We loved everything about our stay at La Siesta Hoi An. The breakfasts everyday were fantastic, such choice, fruit, croissants, Vietnamese food and an a la carte menu with the lovely staff serving, a great way to start the day. We also had lunch a few times around the pool which was also excellent. Compliments to the chefs and kitchen staff, they do an excellent job.
There are 4 pools at the hotel and each one is beautifully designed, and we never had a problem getting a sunbed. The gardens are also stunning and you can tell a lot of work goes into making them so beautiful.
Our room at La Siesta was gorgeous, we had a room overlooking the pool, with a huge bed and bath in the room, with a separate shower. We had a wonderful terrace with loungers overlooking the pool which was very special and we enjoyed sitting there in the evenings with a cocktail.
.
We also had a few massages at the excellent Spa and all the ladies were so lovely and professional. I had Ms Thu Thao for all my massages, such a kind, lovely young lady and such an amazing masseuse. Ms Nhi was also very helpful. l loved the biscuits in the Spa and one of the lovely ladies, sorry can't remember her name even offered to go and buy some for me, such a kind gesture.
We were very sad to leave La Siesta Hoi An and all the lovely friends we had made their, especially Ms Hang and we were so touched when Ms Hang gave us a photograph of us with her that she had had printed out with a lovely message on the back.
Thank you everyone at La Siesta Hoi An for making our stay such a relaxing and memorable one, we hope to return one day.

The staff were wonderful but the design of the complex was a standout. The landscaping and various swimming pools provided a wonderful aspect, especially when enjoying the either of the 2 lovely restaurants. It was peaceful while being in the middle of Hoi An.

My partner and I had also chosen to get married at the hotel. We’d like to give a special mention to Vi (sales) who organised everything, nothing was too much for her.
The hotel was lovely, an oasis amidst the hustle and bustle. It’s located a short walk outside of the old quarter but we preferred being away from the larger crowds. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful, from the pool bar to housekeeping.
Lastly another special mention to Vivi. Who was lovely, always greeted us with a smile, and did everything she could to make our stay extra special.

This hotel and staff are quite amazing! We stayed here a total of 8 days and every day was filled with a positive and uplifting experience. My wife fell ill with travelers tummy and the staff rallied around her as if she were a family member. Huong, Remy, Sang and others were available for any level of assistance and provided a caring and kind demeanor through our stay. Fortunately my wife got through the tummy issue quickly and we were able to enjoy all that Hoi an had to offer. The hotel rooms, gardens, pools, restaurants, and overall layout were so well done, we were sad to depart the property. Though all amenities on the property are great, it’s the incredible staff that made our stay so positively memorable.
