Kisiwa On The Beach

Amazing hotel and service. The room is perfect and a couple of meters from the ocean. We had the villa with the pool which is a strong plus. Bathroom has a large bath and shower. The beach has white sand and there is a security guy around 24/7. No negatives literally.

The location was perfect—close to everything we needed, and the beach was stunning, with crystal-clear water and soft sand. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect getaway!

We were at Kisiwa for just one night, but in the short time we were here, the staff really made our visit memorable. It’s a gorgeous hotel, and the winds here are truly perfect for spending time at the beach, kite surfing, and dining al fresco. Shortly after check in, we strolled the beautiful beach, got a relaxing couples massage, and had a lovely dinner amidst the twinkling lights. The hotel is as stated: peaceful and tranquil. A number of families seemed to really enjoy vacationing here. We would not hesitate to come back and visit!

Had an absolutely amazing experience at Kisiwa! Everything exceeded our expectations! Amazing food, super clean, amazing staff and a special thank you to our waiter Simba! He was the best ever! Definitely bringing the rest of my family over.

My partner and I stayed at Kisiwa on the Beach in January. It was an amazing experience. Very calm and quiet place to relax. The food at every meal was delicious and fresh – the breakfast setting looking out to the ocean is beautiful and the same room in the evening for dinner is nicely lit and a good ambience. The staff were exceptional – they are some of the friendliest and warmest staff you will ever find in a hotel. We were genuinely sad saying goodbye, particularly to Stephano and Nassir. Also a big thanks to Carnel, Lamek, Ombeni and Siwazuri who also looked after us and were delights to speak with. It’s a nice walk along the beach to get to the main part of Paje (about 15 mins) if you want to experience more going on, and to try different bars/restaurants. It’s useful there being a gym on-site although it’s REALLY warm so now that pleasant to work out in. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We were on Kisiwa on the Beach Hotel. It was a great experience. The Waiter and the Chef and other employees were very friendly and professional. The taste of the starters and soup as well of the bbq was soo delicious. A sante Sana. Hakuna Matata!

A perfect place to relax at the end of a perfect holiday. Very comfortable, very friendly staff, nicely decorated. The hotel was not crowded which increased this feeling of piece and quiet. The sea is deep when the tide is high, and was incredibly hot. We spent a lot of time swimming and watching the kites.

Me and my wife had the BESTA Experience at Kisiwa. Simba was amazing, he made our stay perfect. We had a romantic dinner on the beach with Chef Coconut which was one for the books. The entire was nothing short of amazing. Thank you so much 🧡🍾☺️

What a beautiful place! All villas spread out in the landscaped grounds. Direct access to the beach and big pool. Has a boutique feel where all staff know you personally by name. What makes this place so special? So many things but the staff are just amazing! They really care about you, will spend time chatting, attentive but not overbearing. Quiet but situated near all the beach bars, location is perfect. Beach is just WOW! Food, we stayed 8 days, had a buffet on 2 occasions where lobster was grilled, the rest was a 4 course meal with 3/4 different selections at each course. I am a “foodie” and am normally reluctant to have half board as I like to eat at different restaurants throughout my holiday. Last year I was half board and was so happy I kept it the same this year. Did not have a bad meal, everyone delicious and beautifully presented. I wouldn’t change a thing about this place. Tip - book direct, the price includes half board and is cheaper. I will be back, how could I not return to Paradise and perfection!

The bed is the focal point- very beautiful. Coffee / tea making facilities and a small mini fridge. Dinning We stayed on half board and the food was flavoursome and very well presented. Some nights were ordered from the menu and others local bbq style. For the days we departed early on diving or excursions- a packed meal was provided on request, which was a mixture of pastries and fruit. Spa Amazing spa treatment and ambiance. Highly recommended booking a massage, the therapist have a fantastic massage technique and gave a wonderful service. Diving Five days diving with Buccaneer dive school, who picked me up from the hotel everyday. Everything from dolphins to nudibranch ❤️ Service We could not fault the service in anyway. Just right across the board- thank you. We had a really nice welcoming service, the hotel team are so lovely and helpful. Excursions Nakupenda beach day Historical stone town visit Mnemba island tour Summary We would highly recommend this hotel for families, couples and single occupants, it’s extremely peaceful and beautiful with a fantastic location on the beach. Paje beach 🏖️ vibes are a short walk away.
