Kimpton Surfcomber Hotel

Laurel and PJ at the beach were helpful and friendly every day getting chairs and umbrellas set up. Overall hotel was clean, slightly dated but location was close to everything we wanted to do. The beach was great and we had amazing weather for our trip

I love this hotel we’ve come back many times. The people who work here are great the pool is beautiful and the beach is of course wonderful. One of the best things about the hotel is the daily yoga class. Jenny and Daniela were both amazing. First class, yoga teachers!

A little expensive but Miami is expensive. We probably wouldn’t go back to miami. If we did we would stay off the beach where its quieter snd less expensive. I thought we needed oceanfront but the added cost wasn’t worth it. You’re not really that close to the beach anywhere.

They always treat us as very welcomed welcomed guests. A lot of people come to stay at the high rises, they don’t know what they’re missing out on. Our diamond in the deco district . Highly recommend! Candela, our hostess was absolutely amazing. Her poolside service, welcoming attitude, and relaxed demeanor provided was impeccable. She’s deserves a raise!! Five stars. This is our fifth time coming here for at least a week at a time. The Kimpton Surfcomber is like fine wine. Only gets better with age. ❤️

Our stay started badly when despite explaining that we had travelled from the UK on what turned out to be a 13 hour flight due to a medical emergency, we were allocated probably the worst, most noisy room next to the lifts, cleaning cupboard, the loud hotel next door (music and external aircon machinery) and a ridiculously loud air con facility. We complained the following morning (he commented, “oh yes, that is a noisy room”) and we were promptly moved to a much better room further down the corridor and facing onto the garden. Noisy air con aside (not as bad as first room but still loud), the room was very nice. Yes, the bathrooms are very small. Morning tea/coffee and late afternoon drinks (wine and beer) included in resort fee. Pool prices are extortionate. Cost us $50 for two cans of Estrella and three tiny empanada. Ridiculous! But the location is great (ask for a room towards the back if you don’t like street/late night music noise).

The pool deck has a great vibe!! There’s a live DJ on the weekends with good drinks, funny bartenders and quick poolside service. My girlfriend loved the heated pool! Had a fun time playing pool golf with Jay and Derik, would definitely do it again ⛳️🏝️😊
