Kimpton Rowan Palm Springs Hotel

Amazing nice, new building in an amazing location. Great for conference or visit. Great pool and pool bar and restaurant. Quiet, clean. Nice people. Free valet. Great place for the esri partner, conference or developer . We will absolutely come back.

My Sweetheart, Gregory Cherep and I Bernetta Evans, stayed there from 2/21 thru 2/24/25. We always enjoy our stay. The Customer Service is outstanding. We especially appreciate the Happy Hour and the complementary coffee in the morning. There are two staff that I would like to commend for their kindness...

We especially appreciate the Happy Hour and the complementary coffee in the morning. There are two staff that I would like to commend for their kindness and immediate response to requests. Ruis, with the downstairs restaurant, and Linda, the Concierge. Both of these persons are very knowledgeable and helpful. We will definitely come back again.

What can I say? This hotel exceeded our expectations. It’s a lovely property so unique with its height and beautiful rooftop/pool/ bar lounge. Location is amazing. So close to many amazing desert adventures, including Joshua Tree. And the San Jacinto Mountain tram. The room was quiet and-well-maintained. The staff here...

So close to many amazing desert adventures, including Joshua Tree. And the San Jacinto Mountain tram. The room was quiet and-well-maintained. The staff here are amazing. I really can’t say enough about the staff. We loved all of the special snacks throughout the day. Finally, the location and walking distance to everything is amazing. A must stay!

Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus...And he's bringing holiday magic to the Kimpton Rowan (Well...He AND Peggy the General Manager!). It was time for us to get back out to Palm Springs and since we were already considering a destination Christmas...Our top choice for accommodations (again...) was the Kimpton Rowan! A lovely plate of cookies and a bottle of bubbly awaited us in the room after an early check-in...Let the celebration begin! It was nice to see how incredibly well maintained the hotel is now that she has a few years under her belt. The front desk team (Abagail, Jose, Ahmed, Deja and Chloe) are extremely helpful (you can text them at any time!) and always with a smile. Two particular stand out moments on this visit...1) Housekeeping: Thank you Yesenia and Eva...Our room was spotless and you noticed every little detail (which Nespresso pods we liked and providing extra towels)....2) Valet: Christmas Eve morning (getting ready to drive off for a hike)..We were met in the lobby by Valet Manager Alberto to let us know one of his team members spotted a screw lodged in our tire (Yes! The Kimpton Rowan valet team checks for these things...). We were able to get AAA out to put on the spare and have the tire repaired nearby...All within an hour so the day was saved! We would stay here just for the incredible valet team...Thank you all! This place really does feel like our Palm Springs home and family. Congratulations Kimpton Rowan on another wonderful visit...You are simply the BEST! Highly recommended.

First impressions were great here. Met by Luke at front desk, had dinner at 4 Saints and enjoyed the convenience of a great restaurant in our hotel after a drive in from Arizona. Frankie our server was attentive. The hotel has great amenities we took advantage of-pickleball courts, coffee in the lobby, happy hour and afternoon snacks. However there was a terrible sewage smell in our room on the second floor. It got progressively worse, we were there 3 days and it was worse each day. A maintenance man came, he put down some type of deodorant. He came back in an hour to check it. Another person on our floor said he had the same thing in his room and that he left the pool because the odor was so bad. When the maintenance man returned he said the smell came from the street sewers. I do not understand if they know this is a problem why use these rooms? It was our last night so I put a towel over the drain in the shower and closed the toilet lid and pulled up the sink stopper which improved it. The hotel was not at capacity so I can not fathom why they used our room when it is apparently an ongoing problem. I would advise you if you are assigned room 229 ask to be relocated.

Just had a wonderful stay in the San Jacinto suite 501! Gorgeous room with breathtaking floor to ceiling views! The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5, was that there was extremely loud jack hammer demolition going on in the pool area which made it a horrible day by the pool. That being said, They comped our second night, and were very apologetic. Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, and even sent some wine and goodies to our room for our birthdays! Hotel is very clean, has quite a few nice amenities, coffee bar in the morning, beer and wine social hour everyday at 4:00, and is centrally located in Palm Springs! One thing they might want to improve upon is the lighting in the bathroom. Very dark, and hard for hair and makeup. Looking forward to returning next year!!!! Thank you Chloe and Ahmed!

Loved it! Everyone was helpful and kind. Concierge reached out prior to our arrival and answered some questions. The entire hotel and the rooms were clean and very nice. Spent most of our time at the rooftop pool and bar. We had lunch at the bar while watching the Olympics...

While in the pool, the servers were very attentive. We look forward to our next stay.

We choose Kimpton any time we can. This was our first visit to Palm Springs...the Rowan didn't disappoint. The staff was welcoming and kind. The rooftop pool was a prefect place to relax. We appreciated the central location to restaurants, shops, museums, tour pick-ups, Village Fest, etc. There is a convenient market around the corner (On The Mark) with cheese, wine, sandwiches, and gourmet snacks. Extra kudos to the front desk who moved our room (with a very unexpected upgrade) when they realized our AC wasn't working. Can't wait to come back!

It was such a pleasure to stay for NYE at the Kimpton Rowan. Everything about this hotel works all the time from the warm welcoming service from the moment you walk in, to the valet, the location, room cleanliness, etc. - are all consistent every time we stay here.
