Marco Island Beach is gorgeous, but the JW Marriott could and should do better. We're Titanium Elite with Marriott. We checked in and then met friends for dinner. Returning late we discovered that the bed sheets were covered with hairs and looked like the bed had been slept in without changing the bedding between guests. A staff member made 3 trips to the room to replace the king bedding with a hodgepodge of king and queen bedding. They got it right on day 2 of our visit, which was fine but we're left with concern how well Marriott cleans rooms between visits. After our visit I candidly answered their survey and received a response from Marriott's Director or Services who offered to "make it right." I thought they were sincere but 2 weeks later the promise has not been kept. Very disappointed JW Marriott!

So disappointed . My husband and I have been coming to the JW in Marco for 20 years . We have been upgraded to Sirene the last 2 trips because of his Titanium status but did not this time because we were told it was sold out . The pool is so overcrowded with kids and toys and floats that I personally witnessed 3 injuries where kids were hurt because of so much rough housing in the pool . There really needs to be an adult section in the main pool . This was not the kiddy pool . Also lack of lounge chairs available unless you are willing to pay the βReservedβ up charge . That is new . I donβt ever remember the βReservedβ status on the beach and pool chairs when we used to bring our kids . Prices have easily quadrupled in the last 10 years but there are not adequate amenities for so many resort guests . Both jacuzzis were filled with small children and their toys. Iβm sitting at the pool now and resort guests are walking around and around trying to find an open chair . Please do better Marriott. We love coming to Paradise.

Hotel starting to show its age. Generally not bad but always trying to upsell you on things. Hotel cleaning service skipped cleaning our room the day before check out even though we asked them to clean it before we went out for the day. I forgot silverware for some food I purchased and called them to get some plastic silverware. Can you believe they charges me 5 dollars to bring it to my room. Really? I already spent over 3000 dollars for a couple of days in your hotel. Donβt pinch Pennies to lose dollars later. Not in the same class as ritz Carlton. Beach itself is well maintained though.

Wonderful long weekend to escape winter in New England. Beautiful resort! We booked a gulf front room with balcony and king bed. We got room 526, which was huge and bright with a wrap around balcony. There are 11 floors total, so any room ending in 26 would be a corner room, the higher the better! We had lunch at Quinnβs, wonderful! Also dinner at the steakhouse Ario, also excellent. Maiaβs is the only place for breakfast, either buffet or a la carte. Both excellent. The hotel has about 20 e-bikes you can use for 2 hours each day for free. Get the card with the app and promo code at concierge desk. Very fun and easy to use, but the paths are shared use and not very wide so you have to dodge the walkers. We had dinner one night on the patio at Sale e Pepe, an upscale Italian place a 5 min walk away. Ask to sit on patio for sunset! We spent the mornings at the beach with lunch at Mosaico, between the two pools. Excellent food you can eat there or take to go. Gelato there, too. Dinner the last night at La Mesa, great Mexican food nearby. Even though hotel was quite full, we honestly never waited in line for anything. Lots of chairs at beach and pools. The βpremium chairs and beach bedsβ carry an extra charge but was worth it. You can rent jet skis on the beach, plus they had parasailing and a banana boat. Beautiful clean huge white sand beach. Crystal clear water with no seaweed. Lots of shells for the picking. We also had drinks at Kaneβs Tiki Bar one night with live music. All staff were lovely and helpful. A very nice relaxing long weekend. Lots of families with kids and grandkids. Separate pool for families where you can buy and use pool floats and has a small water slide. We only left the resort for 2 dinners, but there is no need to go anywhere. JW thought of everything. Highly recommend!
Also, they emailed us the day before we arrived asking our ETA, which was 11:30am. Our room was ready by 1pm when we finished lunch, which we thought was wonderful!

Large resort with two large pools and plenty of restaurants. Have some adults-only places. Nice beach.
The large parking lot is on the other side of the street.
We had a partial Pool and Golf View room. Nice view of the beach and the sea.
Room was nicely decorated but we had some annoying service problems. The bedlamps did not work, the room safe did not work. It took them three days to fix that.
Breakfast is at Maia Restaurant. Good but very busy and quite a wait in the morning.
We had dinner at Quinn's, which was ok. Dinner at Tresoro was disappointing.
Fitness center nothing special, just ok.
They have two attractive golf courses, Hammock Bay and The Rookery. They are, however, not on-site but approx. 7 miles away which means a 15-minutes drive. Greenfees are around $300.
Another service issue: The card for the parking barrier did not work properly.
All in all a good resort but they need to improve their service quality.
Hotel rates are quite high but this is Florida in high season after all.

This was our third stay here on the Sirene side in a Gulf view king for three nights. We also stayed in the hotel before Sirene.
We immediately requested a move from a pool view room on the 7th floor because it was above the Smoking areaβ in a No smoking property!?
Our next room on the South side was smoke free But every night the 10k Alley bowling alley could be heard until midnight!?
On the positive side since our last stay the Sirene breakfast was much improved.
All of the staff was helpful and friendly which is impressive in such a huge resort.
