Great location and comfortable
Enjoyed 3 nights at the hotel. Location is walking distance from some great restaurants. Our room was a junior suite with fireplace and balcony. We enjoyed great breakfasts each day including house made English muffins . Service was friendly and efficient. We enjoyed and would return.

Booked this hotel for a 30 year wedding anniversary while also attending a wedding in St Helena and a little business on the side in surrounding areas.
No bell service during our 5 night stay. Chris the bartender was great. Housekeeping mediocre. Breakfast staff and food very good. Management unseen and front staff so-so...amenities dismal. Location was great, rooms dated. Our suite was ok, 2 fireplaces heated nicely, steam shower non operational, balcony furniture needs cushions. No wet bar, but a claw foot bathtub in living room...huh?!? Suite 109 BTW.
Expected so much more for our 30th especially upon booking the manager assured that it would be recognized with wine...nope even though I asked front desk twice.
Other options in yountville and surrounding areas, keep looking ...we will.

I stayed here over 4th of July and found the hotel to be outstanding on every level. I was surprised at the negative reviews I read. First of all the hotel is beautiful and the grounds are perfectly landscaped. Our room was gorgeous as well and we even had a little patio out back. It was modern and extremely clean. The location of this hotel is ideal too - easy walk to multiple excellent restaurants. We walked to Bouchon bakery every morning.
Highly recommend if you are looking for a great experience in Napa!

The location is great. The room was a good size and the bathroom was quite nice. The physical plant is pretty, especially by the pool. But our room had no desk at all. The internet was out in half the rooms for several days while we were there. The staff did let us switch rooms. They were friendly, but it didn't feel professionally run. EG, morning coffee was not timely replenished. Bikes were free, but not in great shape and we didn't get much useful guidance on good routes (the wine trail runs very close to the property). We had an enjoyable stay, but would likely try something different on our next visit to Yountville.

Great place to stay - has THE most sumptuous beds and bedding. Absolute haven to explore Yountville. Great pool, bar and fabulous reception staff who are pleasant and extremely helpful. You can explore vineyards and the whole of Napa from this great setting.
Chic, stylish and classic all in one!

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. From arrival to check out, we received the very best service. A welcome wine was much appreciated! The room was incredible, and a fire plus a balcony meant we were set for all weather. The bar, restaurant and pool areas are sublime, the perfect spots to relax in and enjoy a drink after a day of exploring. We have already booked to return next year and cannot wait!

Our experience was quite pleasant, but I felt compelled to write a review because if I had known more, I wouldn't have stayed here. The hotel is lovely, but it's mis-priced -- feels like it should be around $250-300/night, and that mostly due to its great location in downtown Yountville and lovely pool area. The rest of the hotel experience feels like a motel, with buildings flanking a massive parking lot, and food/drinks focused on saving as much money as possible. The decor is 90s/cheap -- plastic whirlpool that didn't work, tired/worn-out carpeting, flimsy plastic utensils and cups, etc. It seems almost a joke that the price per night when we stayed was ~2x MORE than the Hotel on North Block, where we ended up spending most of our time ;) For it to be priced in the same range as Bardessano, where we could have stayed for the same price, seems absurd - even Harvest Inn where I've stayed several times is in a class above. Hope it gets a refresh soon (we stayed June 18-19 2023).

We have stayed here since the hotel opened. It’s really always been about the location for us, and we used to love this hotel. The property is still lovely. We did take a couple years off because we didn’t love our rooms last couple of times and tried again this weekend. Here’s the quick version: you can’t charge $600-1000 per night and not back it up. The hotel no longer backs it up these price points. The deluxe rooms are feeling dated and tired. They def need a refresh. There’s no place to plug your phone in next to the bed on either side, and it’s 2023. Since we use our phones as alarm clocks and for a number of reasons, this is a simple fix the hotel can consider. The pillows on the bed were atrocious—four random types of old, lumpy and flat pillows. Uncomfortable and made no sense. If this was a $200/300 hotel you’d overlook these things, but you cannot at $600+ per night. Also the lobby breakfast is literally coffee and a mini croissant. Not impressive. Staff was nice and kind as a usual. I’m fine paying a premium for a great hotel and a great room, but it feels like things are lacking at HY these days. We’d consider other options on our future trips to Napa.

Overall nice stay at Hotel Yountville
A bit expensive for low season December at around $1000/night. Quality of the hotel, rooms and amenities is a solid 4* like a Sheraton or Marriott. If you go in with the expectation of a solid Sheraton type stay for $1000/night, then you will not be disappointed.
Room - clean with a fireplace. Bathroom area has no doors (although is a door to the toilet). So the bathroom suite is largely part of the room. We didn’t mind that at all. View was of a mobile home park. There were no curtains and the blinds do not keep light out very well - so if you need darkness, bring an eye mask.
Restaurant - adequate and convenient if you arrive and want a quick bite. They do not have dinner. The lobby does have some quick complementary continental bites and coffee available in the morning, which is convenient.
Gym - Very good for a small hotel. They have dumbbells up to 50#, 2 treadmills, a Peloton bike (did not work during our stay), 2 ellipticals and a tiny bit of floor space.
Parking - convenient, outdoor, right by room.
Spa/pool/hot tub - present but did not use.
Staff - only met once at check in but seemed friendly. Restaurant staff friendly as well.

We booked this hotel for a 4 night holiday because of its great location in the heart of Yountville . The staff were very friendly and accommodating, but after staying for one night we were completely disappointed. The room was dingy , dark and dated ! . We complained to the front desk the next morning , but they were unable to help us so instead they allowed us to cancel the next three nights, whereby we immediately moved to a beautiful hotel across the street , where everything was fantastic !
Hotel Yountville charges premium prices for a Holiday Inn type room . There are much better options in the area , as we discovered ! The staff were great , but the rooms were sub par at best .
