My boyfriend and I had a wonderful weekend at the William Gray. Everything about our stay was great— our lovely room, the relaxing spa, the super cozy coffee shop Cafe Olmpico, the vey cool boutique selling works from local artists, and best of all, the amazing staff. Everyone was SO friendly and kind and made our stay extra special, from the lovely gentleman who greeted us when we checked in late (thanks to very delayed flight) to the amazing, and very talented concierge. I had reached out ahead of time to set up an in-room amenity snack for our arrival and noted that it was my bf's birthday so the note card should be a message from our cats as a joke. Otilia then went way above and beyond and asked for a picture of our cats and drew a beautiful picture of them. We were both blown away when we saw it and now it'll be something we keep forever. Truly it was a great weekend and I hope to stay there again some day!

My wife and I stayed three nights at Hotel William Gray, not really knowing too much about the hotel when we booked it. We were thrilled with our choice. The room itself was very clean, bed was comfortable, the bathroom (especially the shower and bathtub) was amazing. But where this hotel really stood out was in its' customer service. We've stayed at a lot of higher end hotels over the years, and the service here was some of the best, if not THE best, we've ever encountered. From the front desk which helped us in numerous ways (including shipping our forgotten iPad back to us!) to the cleaning service which seemed to appear out of nowhere multiple times a day so that every time we came back from somewhere they had cleaned it, the service was amazing. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a higher end stay in Montreal.

Checked in with Eddy and he was a blast! So friendly and welcoming, gave us some great pointers for our stay in Montreal. Hotel itself is quaint but beautiful, with comfortable rooms and a lovely restaurant (Maggie Oakes) on-site. Will return in future to try the spa!

Fantastic weekend getaway! Great location. Clean hotel. Excellent service. The beds are comfortable and the shower pressure exceptional. The luxury products are a nice touch. Definitely would return! The restaurant and cafe inside the hotel are phenomenal.

From the moment we checked in, the experience was exceptional—our room was upgraded, and we were welcomed with a lovely treat from the staff. The service throughout our stay was fantastic, with every detail thoughtfully taken care of. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Old Montreal, making it easy to explore the charming cobblestone streets, incredible restaurants, and historic sights. Plus, the views of the St. Lawrence River and St. Helen’s Island were stunning. Café Olimpico – Located inside the hotel, this legendary Montreal café serves excellent espresso, cappuccinos, and lattes. It’s a local favorite, known for its rich Italian-style coffee. Perfect for a quick caffeine fix before exploring Old Montreal! I highly recommend staying at William Gray for a luxurious and memorable Montreal experience!

Very comfortable bed. Beautiful shower. Excellent staff, excellent dining. The only downside was the plumbing - we would notice sewage odours from time to time while walking the hallway. With the blizzard raging, we opted to stay one more night and enjoyed shopping in the local area.

Leonie, Otilia and the staff at Hotel William Gray made our vacation and engagement an unforgettable experience. The hotel is beautiful, clean and located right in the heart of Old Montreal! We can’t thank the staff enough for their kindness and hospitality. 10/10 would recommend.

Awesome from the check in, everyone is really friendly and helpful, our room had a great view and was really clean and pretty. The general vibe of the hotel is relaxed and welcoming. We are hoping to visit again soon to enjoy the restaurant and bar.
