Lovely, friendly, spectacular, shower didn't work, beautiful, amazing breakfast... also confusing mezzanine building structure so the lift works in halves!!! Proper whack! Very brilliant and free parking. Incredible location, fit for kings and queens and non-binary noblesse.

Our room had a small balcony with a great view of the town and the water; Room was spacious, large bathroom, modern style, everything clean and fresh. Staff friendly and accomodating. Nothing in the immediate vicinity, healthy walk into town. Recommended, fresh bright room with excellent views.

Reception: all staff are friendly, efficient and very helpful. Room / facilities: Our 2 night stay in Room number 311 which is on the 7th floor, is very clean and spacious as it is an “accessible room.” Self control air conditioning with 2 x windows that open. The room has single bed plus a king size bed, desk, mini fridge, coffee and tea facilities, 2 additional seats and nested tables, bed side tables, flat screen TV, large bathroom with shower only, bath robes for 2 persons, hanging and storage area, safe. Laundry: There is no self service coin laundry on site, but there is a small coin operated laundry near the Spar supermarket at the port, in town. Parking: Plenty of parking is available at no cost. Wifi: Complementary and good speed, validation is required. Breakfast: Available for additional cost €19 per person each morning, but not utilised on this stay. Conclusion: Excellent hotel with little touches to make the guest feel more welcome. Letdowns: None. Location / Nearby: Old Town, some attractions are viewable from the hotel. Recommendations: Enjoy the stay in a beautiful part of the world. Getting to hotel: If arriving by car, best use GPS

Wonderful location at the tip of Bonifacio. Giving super views of Sardinia and the sunset. Fantastic kind thoughtful staff. Exceptional breakfast! Also adored the sculpture work on display in the hotel from Gabriel Diana. The room had everything we needed for a good night's rest.

We booked this hotel a few days before & took ferry across from Sardinia. It is spotlessly clean & has a few quirky communal areas. We received a complimentary upgrade & staff were friendly & recommended restaurants etc. There is a bar in the hotel but no restaurant. The buffet breakfast was therefore disappointing as the only cooked option was eggs. It was also very overcrowded with every trying to access the buffet at the same time. The hotel is also a good walk from the town but if you want to access any beaches you need to drive. We were only there for one night so this didn’t matter to us but it would put us off staying any longer.

So pleased we chose this hotel as our 2 night base in Bonifacio. It was the most expensive hotel of our 2 weeks away but worth it for the lovely location. I thought I'd booked a sea view room with balcony, and it had no balcony, but that was probably my error in booking through Hotels.com and it wasn't an issue as we were out exploring most of the time and only in our room to change and sleep and it certainly had a sea view. It had a very comfortable bed and was modern in style, with electric window blinds in bedroom and bathroom - very funky! There's a large car park belonging to the hotel (when we stayed it was full of old Porsches on tour!) and the hotel kindly offered for us to use the car park again if we wished to return to Bonifacio once we had moved on to a beach resort not far away which was kind. It's an easy 5 min walk to the start of the old town through interesting historic buildings and a lovely area to explore, with lots of restaurants in alleyways. It's also worth taking the well worn path and walking out a little way onto the headland in the other direction (towards the lighthouse), in order to look back at Bonifacio. One night we ate up there, and the other night we ate down by the harbour. Having been out on a boat trip in the day (to the wonderful Lavezzi islands, and for further great views of Bonifacio from the water as well), we discovered there was a little road "train" which ran between the two, so we bought a return ticket from the harbour up to the old town after our trip, and then used it as a quick way back down for dinner. The train at that time of year didn't run late enough into the evening to work for us after our meal. Therefore it was a hard walk back up after dinner, taken very slowly with lots of stops to enjoy the views, but it was a good way to burn calories and not go straight to bed on a full stomach - allow about 30mins if you're not a fitness fanatic! Breakfast was a fairly extensive and nice buffet. As will all 6 hotels we stayed at around Corsica, the additional cost of breakfast added up (here from memory it was 17 euros per person, I think) so to keep costs down, on the 2nd morning we walked into the old town and bought pastries and hot drinks at the little boulangerie that is in the lane on the way in. It only has one table to eat in but we were lucky. It was very friendly too - we were greeted by each customer! Recommend this hotel as a great base for a few nights when exploring Bonifacio - most hotels in the area don't have their own parking as this one does and it is also very quiet at night as just that short distance away from the action.

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. Its location at the end of the promontory past the old city and looking out to Sardinia and back to the old town is magnificent. As evening falls it is really really quiet. We had room 402 with a ( very small) balcony with wonderful views. From the outside, the building is unprepossessing but inside stylish with contemporary art and spotlessly clean. The rooms are spacious , excellent bathroom, comfortable bed (pillows a little hard). The included breakfast is outstanding with a selection of local cheeses and charcuterie as well as eggs how you like. The staff are charming and helpful. One caveat - we arrived on the Sardinia Ferry on foot, and could not get a taxi to the hotel (nor could the hotel organise one). It was a heart attack inducing climb with suitcases. We would certainly aim to return.

Situated on top of the cliff, to the west of haute ville, this hotel offers great value with clean rooms and a fabulous view over the strait twds Sardinia. Service is friendly and very helpful, David in the reception gave skillful and helpful advice with respect to finding restaurants and beaches and even helped us get a room in a nearby hotel when we wanted to stay longer than planned and all the rooms were taken in Santateresa. Highly recommended.
