The hotel Relais Saint Sulpice is a 3 star ‘hotel de charme’ which, as you may gather, means it is full of distinction and charm. Our hotel is in one of the best parts of Paris – the 6th arrondissement on the left bank of the Seine. You will find it easy to get to all the major historical monuments in central Paris from our hotel. It is also very convenient for any one coming to meet you, easy for you to walk home to in the evening and there are taxi cabs and taxi ranks nearby.
The Hotel Relais Saint Sulpice, in the heart of the 6th district, has 26 bedrooms over 3 floors, with an elevator. Eight of these rooms look out over the Saint Sulpice church and the square; the other bedrooms overlook a small patio, imbued with calm and luxurious plants. The hotel has three different room categories – classic, superior and deluxe. The hotel is the antithesis of those faceless, charmless, ‘run of the mill’ hotels. When you wake up in the morning and look around your room, you will know you are in the heart of Paris, one of the most-romantic cities on earth – unlike some hotels, where when you wake up, you wonder what city you are in, let alone what country.
The hotel owners loved to travel and their hotel resembles a large private house, full of warmth and charm. No room is the same. Each has decorative objects from different historical periods, various designers from around the world. When booking, please do not hesitate to ask the staff about the rooms so that you may choose a special one for just you.

Reviews of Hotel Relais Saint Sulpice
Great location. Very easy to walk to the Louvre and other sites. Our room was on the second floor and had very convenient stairs. We overlooked the courtyard. It was very comfortable and quiet. Friendly staff. We would stay here again. Elevator for heavy bags.

We stayed for 3 nights and were really pleased with all the facilities... the room (4) was really clean, comfortable, warm and quiet ... albeit a little small but we were out for most of the days anyway. The complimentary bottle of wine and chocolates were very well received and the ticket for the boat trip included was great. We really enjoyed the breakfast with fresh bread etc. They even accommodated my vegan partner with Soya milk which is not always available at other places. The staff were absolutely lovely and a credit to the hotel. One very small negative was that the bathroom could do with a little updating but was clean. Would definately recommend and wouldn't hesitate to book again when we hopefully return to Paris 😀

Friendly and efficient staff. Nice room. Can't beat the location. A cozy and quiet spot, nice decor, too. The bed was quite comfy. Historic character is also a plus. Bathroom was fine, nice shower. A fair amount of storage space also available.
Cafes abound nearby, friendly hotel

If you’re looking for a perfect, polished hotel experience then you might want to go look for the nearest Hilton. But if you want the perfect Parisian experience filled with character and charm, I would highly recommend this hotel. The staff were wonderfully charming, the breakfast was plentiful (highly recommend the fruit and yogurt) and the location couldn’t have been better. OK, so the bath plug leaked a little, and the room was small, the tea was weak - but nothing that took away from our lovely Parisian bolt-hole. Situated wonderfully quiet side street within 2 minutes of everything you need. We will return.

Excellent location next to Saint Sulpice, but you do need to walk 10 minutes or so to find good dining options. All the nearby restaurants we tried were overpriced and not very good, but we found good ones east and west of Jardin du Luxembourg. The hotel breakfast was excellent. Our room on the courtyard side was spacious, very quiet, with effective air conditioning in a July heat wave, and a comfy bed. It was not very clean, however, and the shower could use some bleach. The view out the window was into another room, so the drapes are appreciated. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful with good English. Compared with other similarly priced Paris hotels this was a very good value and we would happily return.

Very friendly staff, delightful small courtyard. Breakfast is offered, but we did not take it. Room was comfortable, but small. Air conditioning worked very well in the 100 degree days!
A great hotel for local flavor and experience.

So disappointed with this hotel which we booked through Secret Escapes. We drove for 8 hrs from Germany to visit Paris ( a first for us) before returning to the UK. We had checked nearby parking before booking and no mention of height restrictions but unfortunately all car parks were underground and our vehicle was too high. This was not the hotels fault, but during the 2 hrs we drove around Paris looking for overground parking we popped into the hotel and called them asking for assistance. They were neither sympathetic or helpful, despite it being 21.30 in the evening and 40 degree heat. After eventually finding road parking ourselves we checked in. They did recommend somewhere to eat when we were dripping with sweat and exhausted - but I would expect this from any hotel ‘worth it’s salt’. The hotel decor is tired / in need of repair. Our room overlooked the courtyard ( but straight into the window of another guests room) . The bathroom was tatty and had mouldy tiles / grout. The bed was however very comfortable. In the morning we awoke to a puddle on the bathroom floor from the broken AC unit . The hairdryer kept coming apart. Breakfast was mediocre but the gentleman serving was very welcoming and helpful. Such a shame as our experience of West France, Germany and Switzerland on the same trip could not have been more different. Certainly over- priced for the accommodation and service.

Great neighborhood but the corner the hotel is on is surprisingly noisy late into the night and early in the morning. We had a street side room facing the church. Hopefully the courtyard rooms are quieter.
The room was too warm and the AC wasn’t sufficient - and it wasn’t even hot outside - can’t imagine how it would be in summer heat. Much better with the windows open but then you get the street noise so catch-22. Rooms are small as you’d expect at a boutique hotel in Europe, but didn’t have expect mildew in the shower tiles.
Breakfast was charming and the staff was as nice enough.
Was hoping for a better experience.

Lovely little hotel in a great position. A short wander up to Jardin du Luxembourg and in the middle of the St Germain des Pres area. The room was spacious and with a very comfortable bed overlooking a lovely courtyard. Breakfast was also good with beautiful fresh croissant, bread and coffee plus cheese, meat, fruit, eggs and bacon and freshly squeezed orange juice. The staff were all excellent, polite and helpful, very friendly and English speaking. An excellent find.
