A very short stop over in between San Fran and LA, we arrived around 8pm and left at 10am Annoyingly £230 for 12 hours, it rained the entire time aswel. However what a beautiful hotel, the grounds were kept clean and tidy, very pretty and maintained. The staff were very friendly and the valet guys were super accommodating. Our room was overlooking the pool, great views of the sea front. Just wish it had been a sunny morning to get some good pics. They offer complimentary bikes which I’d recommend. We wasn’t there long enough plus due to the rain We sadly couldn’t do. We had brekkie at Chads which Is situated in between all the hotel complex. An amazing brekkie and plentiful so don’t over order. Can’t say about the area as we didn’t explore. But from what I saw it was full of motels/hotel but lovely looking place and I’d love to go back, The pier is a 5 minute walk but shuts early, we walked over at 8.30pm and everything was closed, so do your homework before going to find where’s open.

We made some highly unusual requests which were responded to with the simple "how can we help you". Lots of hospitality venues claim to have superior service, but most don't execute. I will never book with this hotel again. They confirmed a reservation with us for New Year’s Eve and then canceled when we arrived with our baggage saying they had overbooked their hotel for that night. “Sorry about that,” they said. When I asked for a free accommodation in the future as an amend they said “no” and that was that. They offered nothing for our great inconvenience. I said I would leave a negative review and they said: “That is your prerogative.” Well of course it is! I’d say they have a bad business model that does not serve customers well. There are plenty of other places to stay in Santa Barbara. Skip this place. Here’s the confirmation we had received. Thank you Donna, for your booking at our property! We are so happy to have you stay with us! As of right now, we have your reservation checking in Tuesday, December 31, 2024 and departing Wednesday, January 1, 2025. We only stayed at the hotel for one day and it was really bad. We didn't stay longer because we didn't like it. The duvet smelled. Also, although we got a king room, we stayed in a really bad room. The hotel looked great in the photos, but in reality it had nothing to do with the photos. We chose a king room with a beach view and even the view was really bad. Also, when we made the reservation, it said breakfast was included, but when we asked in the morning, they said there was no breakfast. My partner and I really regret choosing this hotel. It is definitely not worth even half of this money.

We stayed here last year and really enjoyed it so added another night this time. We had a bumpy start in that the check-in wasn't ready very early and they didn't contact us as promised so we lost time while the weather was good (the following day was cold and foggy). That was the only issue during the stay, the room was comfortable and the outside seating area with views of the beach and the harbor really add to the experience. Otherwise the staff were great and very friendly. Lovely to have a warm pool! They're undergoing renovations in 2025 so am intrigued as to what this will be like after that as some of the rooms do need some refreshing. Still a great location and a good option for exploring Santa Barbara.

Great location, great staff, great service ! Right near the wharf and other locations ,,, driving is easy with the valet parking and the hotel was tidy and comfortable. Staff was attentive and friendly … really nice coastal casual getaway !!

Save your self the likely disappointment that could be your fate if you book this hotel. While the location is convenient, so are about 10 other hotel options in the same area. We are traveling with 5 other couples and have seen several other rooms at this motel. There is no standard room product yet one incredibly high nightly rate is charged for all the different rooms. Our postage stamp sized excuse of a room is a complete rip off. You know when the TV is hung from the corner at an awkward angle the room is clearly too small to qualify as a room that would qualify for a $600 ++ nightly charge. When the bathroom shower door only has one panel so you freeze while trying to take a warm shower, you too will know you are getting ripped off even if management has read the same complaints from past customers and said they would take it into consideration yet they clearly don’t give a damn and are solely focused on Revenue Maximization and not customer service that would generate great customer experiences and positive reviews. The only positive reviews are from the Lucky guests that did not get swindled.

We loved our stay at Hotel Milo! Everyone from the front desk to the valet were so friendly and helpful. We loved the complimentary bikes - what a fun way to see the gorgeous scenery of Santa Barbara! The hotel is central and within walking distance of so much - the harbor, the wharf, State Street, and so many restaurants/shops. The cozy firepits around the property are a great way to end the night as well. Highly recommend and we hope to get back to Santa Barbara to stay here again!
