We cannot speak highly enough about Hotel Margherita. We had a beautiful room with terrace and amazing view, comfortable and very clean. Rooftop bar with spectacular view and M’ama restaurant were excellent. Breakfast buffet was outstanding- fresh baked savory and sweet items, fresh squeezed orange juice, healthy options, eggs, fresh fruit! And if that wasn’t enough- you could special order cappuccinos, omelets and more. The staff were so friendly, helpful and you felt like VIPs or close family. Hotel manager went above and beyond in communicating by text prior to the trip and then helping us plan and navigate the buses and ferries, gave recommendations for restaurants, booked taxis from airport and to train, and was so patient with us. Aside from the hotel looking amazing online and having great reviews- we wanted a place without a lot of steps upon entering (there were just a few and then an elevator) and the shuttle service was such an incredible amenity! They would take us to and from restaurants in the evenings and saved us many rugged walks and taxis! Just incredible! Cannot recommend enough!

From the moment we arrived to our departure we were treated to some of the best hospitality you can imagine, Suela and her team are extremely friendly and helpful with nothing being too much trouble.
The hotel is perfectly situated to take advantage of the fantastic views of the rustic coast and we chose Praiano because of its location, pretty central for exploring the Almalfi coast.
There is a bus stop outside the hotel where you can catch a bus to nearby Positano or just a short walk the Sita bus stop, you can reach Sorrento or Salerno from here, ferries are also easily accessed from Almalfi or Positano from which you can explore further.
The buses are an experience in peak times or when the ferries are cancelled, they can be very packed, but still great fun and very cheap.
The hotel has all the amenities you could need with the bonus of a small pool
The rooms are excellent, spotlessly clean, very comfy beds/bedding, great bathroom with shower.
The breakfast was excellent with plenty of hot choices plus a great buffet, the breakfast team are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble.
The rooftop restaurant we visited 3 times and each time the food was perfection
A great idea is the hotel's shuttle bus which will take and pick you up from anywhere in the village.
There are E bikes available to rent directly from the hotel or if you feel the need to drive try one of the hotels small EV's, we rented one for a day and was great fun.
We spent a fantastic two weeks here and would most definitely highly recommend it
Thank you for making our stay so perfect.

We need my visited the M'Ama! Restaurant. Have to say the food and the service was excellent. Helpful with the menu and choosing the wine. It had a good atmosphere mixes locals and visiting Americans. Also a free shuttle bus to and from our hotel.

We stayed here for our 25th anniversary. The hotel is beautiful and the staff very helpful. We received a warm welcoming reception when we arrived, given a cool beverage, beach bag with towels and an explanation of services with suggestions for things to do and how to get around.
We found the beds with pillow toppers to be the most comfortable of the 5 hotels we stayed in on this trip.
The area is a bit tricky to get around, (especially in the heat) requiring a shuttle, bus or taxi and much coordination. The hotel provides a shuttle toPraiano beach or town. We opted for the €70 taxi to amalfi which we shared with another couple, coordinated by the staff. We did not eat at the famous restaurant in the hotel but heard from guests it is wonderful. The Breakfast buffet is very good.
We chose to have our special dinner at Il Pirata on the beach, which was delicious.

The view, the food, the beautiful room (21: large with a domed ceiling and a large balcony) are all reasons to come but what makes this place stands out is the friendliest welcome . Our pet got toys! We got almost immediate answers to our requests (Matteo, thank you !...

We got almost immediate answers to our requests (Matteo, thank you ! ) , and the host gave us great tips about Praiano (which lanes to take to get to the beach quielty) and cared for our well-being like a mum, a good one .
The bathroom amenities are aplenty; The breakfast buffet is generous . the staff is on the ready.

From the moment you book to the moment you leave everything is just perfect! The comfy beds, the sea view from balcony, the breakfast, location - but most of all - the clear feeling you are part of the family as soon as you enter the hotel.
We loved everything about it. Especially the location which offered peace and tranquility after the madness of the bigger towns.
The shuttle they offered to take us to and from Praiano beach was such a bonus. And the fact the bus to Positano stops right outside was also a real positive.
I also loved the decor - traditional and beautiful.
We will return next year as a family as 3 nights was just not long enough !
