We stayed at this wonderful resort Jan 12- Jan 19.... The service again was excellent... Everything from the restaurant servers to the snack bar... Of course breakfasts made by Silvia are the best! She is an absolute gem to this resort & they are very lucky to have her... The snack bar staff again... outstanding group of people... Our room was always clean, and perfect... Our safe in our room kept malfunctioning but upon going to the front desk , they very quickly had a service repair to our room... Absolutely no complaints about the food... great selection & plenty... The only issue that could be fixed is at times in the lobby bar, it was left unattended for in the evening sometimes for as long as 20 minutes on a few occasions while the bartender went to get mixes & pop etc, which is understandable.. But, what I would suggest is that another server covers the bar when this needs to be done... I did hear people becoming annoyed... My thing would be this... where do they really need to go lol... Another great stay & will be back again in 2026...

Well... hard to find where to start... EVERYTHING WAS GREAT!!! ROOMS ARE GREAT, HOTEL AND NIIRU BEACH CLUB ARE FABULOUS!!! All the Benniguenda Crew were great. But most of all, THE DANCERS!!! My husband and I really enjoyed this hotel. It is small but charming and you are easily able to walk to all areas of the hotel - including the beach club, which is about a 10 minute walk away (or you can go by shuttle every half hour). The pool...

My husband and I really enjoyed this hotel. It is small but charming and you are easily able to walk to all areas of the hotel - including the beach club, which is about a 10 minute walk away (or you can go by shuttle every half hour). The pool at the hotel is very quiet, especially in the afternoon when most people gravitate to the beach club, and we enjoyed its serenity (when we didn’t go to the beach club ourselves). There is no need to save chairs at this hotel, there are always plenty of comfortable loungers in shade or sun - at the hotel or at the beach club. Oddly, the music played daily by the hotel pool was old classics by the ‘rat pack’ and it was interesting listening to ‘I’m dreaming of a White Christmas’ in February! The same music selection was played daily by the pool but we didn’t mind - a bit quirky, but we still enjoyed it. The beach club is truly beautiful! The view from the infinity pool over the ocean is stunning and the servers there were always friendly and provided great service. The food was definitely repetitive (mind you, we stayed for three weeks) - but we could always find something that would satisfy us. The breakfasts were delicious, lunches were good and dinners …okay. It would be nice if there was a larger lunch menu option at the hotel pool - it basically only offered chicken wings, hamburger, French fries and soup - otherwise you had to go to the beach club for the buffet there. We did not enjoy the red wine and bought our own bottles of wine from the little Italian chaucuterie store across the street because the house wine disappointed. The cocktails were definitely watered down and extremely weak, despite the long pours straight out of a liquor bottle. I have to admit that the cocktails and wine disappointed. The bed was extremely comfortable, the shower always had hot water (morning or night), and the air conditioning in the room worked flawlessly to keep us at a comfortable temperature with little noise. Our room overlooked the main restaurant where they had evening shows nightly. These shows were excellent and showcased incredible talent! We worried that we would be kept up by noise from the shows due to our room proximity but the shows ended by 10:30ish and then it was completely quiet. Wi-Fi in our room was really weak but we could get a strong signal from the buffet restaurant or at the beach club, so we managed okay. We enjoyed the ability to refill our own water bottles from the water machine in our hallway as the temperature was consistently hot and we wanted to stay well hydrated. We would return to this hotel because, despite a few drawbacks, we really enjoyed our three week stay and we don’t often want to return anywhere! The hotel’s location is awesome - an easy walk into town - a close taxi ride to many different beaches - and the marina is just up the street (here you can book various excursions). This small hotel is really charming and the landscape and walking paths are really beautiful!

This was our third trip to this beautiful little piece of paradise which we consider our home away from home. We were welcomed again by the amazing and wonderful Julio who once again did not disappoint with a quick and seamless check in and a wonderful room with an amazing pool and garden view. Julio and Viri made our stay at the resort very comfortable and enjoyable and were always there if we needed anything, going above and beyond for us. The Niru Beach Club was our daily stop from 10 am - 4 pm, enjoying the beautiful infinity pool, restaurant, bar and relaxing and reading. The incredible staff which included our two favourite bartenders Daniel and Freddy and our servers Erick, Magdalena and Carlos made everyday so incredible. We also enjoyed the wonderful pool and waterslide at the resort. We took in some of the evening shows which we also enjoyed. A huge shout out to Sylvia for always making us the best omelettes and knowing what we wanted in them. To the wonderful Amelia who always made our room clean and tidy. To the rest of the Binniguenda staff which included Talia, Noem, Saul, Sonia, Gaby, Ana, Abraham and Abel at the snack bar were all so wonderful and accommodating. A huge shout out to Sinai at the concierge desk who was so kind and helpful. The Binniguenda is a wonderful resort and we will continue to return as often as we can. Thank you to the amazing staff once again for making our holiday so special and unforgettable.

We have been to huatulco 3 times before this trip but never to the binni. The front desk staff especially Julio made checking in and out a breeze, all so very friendly. Rooms were clean, the pillows to big for me lol I like flatter ones but that's just me....

Rooms were clean, the pillows to big for me lol I like flatter ones but that's just me. Food was good when I ate there but we ate out allot. The beach club is awesome, Freddy the bartender is top notch, the other bartender I forget his name but he sure had a sense of humor lol. Although I didn't do any waterspout I did observe the fellow uncharged. He was very professional and took his job very seriously. We met some amazing people there who are now our friends and hope to meet with them again next year as for sure we will ne back. The Niro pool , bar and buffet were all excellent.

My wife and I recently returned from two weeks at the Binni. We are older and "journeyman" vacationers, probably experiencing upward of 30 AI's and hotels in and around Mexico and the Caribbean. Not our first rodeo. The Resort. Very clean, with amazing staff, smaller. One thing immediately noticeable was the claustrophobia. With one's back to the resort looking at the pool, one sees a huge stone wall, 180 degrees. The pool was decent. Our room, "SELECT" gave us some extras, most of which we did not use. At least we had a tiny balcony. I liked the 7 am coffee delivery. The bars opened and closed, intermitedly. We would sit at the front of the hotel and watch the traffic, rather than the wall. As said, it's an older place, but still in A1 condition. Many people sitting around the pool, we didn't last long doing this. Didn't appear to be any pool side service. During the day, one hoof's it up the stairs to the snack bar for a drink. Later, that bar closes and the hotel one opens. No food there. We rarely stayed around during the day. Our room was OK. The Food. The snack bar, closing @ 5pm, is amazing. Great fries, burgers, tacos, wings and such. ALL COOKED FRESH! The food at the restaurant, opens at 7:30 pm, by our estimation was a complete bust. The only fresh cooked food being the omelets at breakfast. ..... if you can stand the wait. Great tasting, and containing some slivers of real meat. But! Oh so slow going. The rest of the pickings, supper too..... slop can fare. I won't go into too much detail, but admit the food wasn't for us, repetitive and bereft of flavor. Soon, we' like some other Canadians started eating out. We took our a la carte clothes, but could never be bothered with the dress code nonsense and late start. The Drinks. The usual, "basic" stuff, being "select" we had access to better stuff, not that we ever did. ... being so hard to find. Of course the usual blender mush was available. ............ Brings me to my my biggest bugaboo..... I only drink beer, and not that much of it too. My prior observations detected beer taps about the place, draft beer! Splendid! However the taps did not produce beer, they did look good though. Beer comes in two types, light and dark, via big bottles that sit behind the bar. Once the lid is flipped off, as per Boyle's Second Law of Effervescence, it soon becomes flat and severely unpalatable. So I bought my own, in 340 ml cans, that, most resorts serve, thus providing variety and .... "unflatness". Who would have thought. Now we are buying food and drink. The Beach Club. Playa Santa Cruz is but s short walk away, or shuttle ride, indeed a splendid and tranquil beach. Niru has a nice pool, great view and amazing staff, AND! amazingly the same two beer taps, however, these taps are actually connected to CO2 and..... yes beer, good beer. Sometimes running out at the beach. The buffet here is light years away from Binni, not that big, full of tasty delicious choices. Fresh cooked items, one day, fried chicken that tasted just like KFC. It can be done. Down the "suicide" steps, we find the beach, fine sand and loungers and chairs. The former, too low for me, and the chairs of a very curious design, the front legs, normal and spaced, the rear legs, closer together, ...... more like a three legged chair, lean back, and over you go. I did twice. We started sitting in the restaurant next door, better chairs, good service and reliable bottles of 340 ml ice cold Corona served, along with ultra delicious shrimp cocktails. Now! that's Mexico. Later the chairs at Niru were upgraded. Notwithstanding our "minor" grievances, we had a great vacation, our first at Huatulco, now we are hooked. A slower, more laid back Mexico, the greatest people imaginable. Cheap cabs and food everywhere. AND! a smaller, faster through airporto Three times we took a taxi to Playa Maguey, and adored it there, it epitomizes the antichrist of Cancun, 99% local people and laid back espousing the true local ethos. It is most certainly hot in Huatulco, ... one soon becomes acclimated and learns the good times to do things. We wouldn't stay at Binni again, it wasn't too bad, just not our cup of tea.

My wife and I were in town celebrating our anniversary and got the day pass for the Beach Club. Awesome installations, food was ok but the highlight was our Bartender, Abel. Great customer service and the best Mezcalitas on the Bays area, Thank you Abel for making our experience enjoyable 🥰

Stayed with my husband at this hotel for 7 nights in March. The hotel is small and charming with beautiful grounds. The room was basic but clean with a comfy bed and good AC. The location is great, close to beaches and town. Niru Beach Club is a short 6-7 minutes walk from the hotel. There is also a shuttle available, but we didn't use it. Beach club is really nice with a great pool and beautiful views of the bay. The food was okay. The lunch at Niru beach was good with plenty of choices. We were out a lot and had dinner at the hotel just once. Drinks were excellent at both the hotel and beach club. We really enjoyed the drinks at the hotel bar at night. The bartender was great( sorry, I forgot his name) Wi-Fi connection was hit and miss. Sometimes, it worked just fine and sometimes didn't work at all. That would not bother me if I didn't have to work. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon.
