We chose the hotel as it seemed to be centrally located (and it was) and it had good reviews. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and wanted to stay somewhere special. The hotel did not disappoint us, the staff were attentive, informative, and friendly. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. The team at the breakfast service were also very helpful. We were made to feel welcome. We walked a lot, saw a lot and, had a great time. We would recommend this hotel to others. Most of the key attractions are within easy walking distance. We had a wonderful break.

This hotel location cannot be beat!!! The inside has been beautifully redone and you feel like you are royalty. The staff are professional, knowledgeable, and so very friendly. My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Barocco for a long weekend get away. We loved the property, location and staff! Let's start with the staff, they are all engaging, helpful and most importantly, GENUINE! We really felt at home as we were greeted by the staff when were were coming and going throughout the day. We also learned some ins and outs of the city and took them up on several recommendations while we were there. They were all great but Alma and Lisa at the front desk were awesome! The hotel is in a great neighborhood close to many of the sites. Our furthest trek was to the Vatican which was a little over a mile away but the walk was awesome as we passed through some cool areas of town. Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps and the Coliseum were anywhere from an 8-15 minute walk and again, going thru some cool neighborhoods / areas. I do recommend going to Trevi Fountain early in the AM (0700 or so) to avoid the masses the go throughout the balance of the day. We found our room very comfortable and it had everything we needed. THe bed was comfortable and the room was very clean and maintained well. The breakfast was good with a heavy American flavor but there are options that provide plenty of variety. The food is fresh and cooked to order, no buffet . We will be going back to Rome and when we do, we will return to Hotel Barocco as the things that are important to us: staff, cleanliness, location are all represented at the highest level.

Everything at hotel Barocco is high level. Staff at the reception desk, staff in the bar and breakfast area, every member of the cleaning team, everybody is extremely friendly and smiling. This was our second time staying at Hotel Barocco, and we were welcomed like members of the family. This hotel has great, quiet rooms, with large and high quality beds, and the shower (at least in our room) is heaven, especially after another long day in the eternal city. Metro station Barberini is opposite the hotel, and you are fairly close to the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish steps, and Villa Borghese. There is no doubt about it : we will definitely come back to Hotel Barocco, that's for sure !

We stayed at Hotel Barocco the past two Decembers and we love our little Barocco family! The hotel is charming and we are always remembered and always treated excellently. If you like a smaller, boutique hotel with a top notch staff, this one is it!

The hotel is lovely and located in a Piazza with the fountain of tritone sculpted by Bernini. The breakfast is lovely, as is the breakfast room. The neighborhood is full of historic buildings. Staff was actively friendly. We loved the place and highly recommend it.

The front desk (Valerio, Alma, Danielle, Tomasso and management), breakfast ( Stefano, Maricarra), bar (Marco and Marino) and the outstanding maid service were all great. They were helpful with suggestions on where to eat and what to see. You cannot say enough about the breakfasts. Stefano the waiter was outstanding (It is my pleasure to serve you). The maids were meticulous in care for the room. The laundry service was fantastic. We stayed two different occasions (side trip to Assisi) on our trip to Rome at Hotel Barocco. Thank you for the example of a great hotel.

A really lovely little hotel in the heart of Rome, well run, clean, very comfortable and quiet despite being just off Via Tritone. The staff, from the brilliantly helpful concierge team (Valerio, Lisa, Carlo, Emanuela, Fabio) Gianluca, expert in the bar to the cleaners were delightful and made our stay a very happy one. Our only comment would be to provide the larger Cornetti, which Stefano kindly found for us from the nearby pasticceria! We can't wait to return.

All staff were amazing from the reception staff with their advice on restaurants and directions. The staff at breakfast so wonderful and attentive. The Barman was amazing with his own twist on drinks for us after a long day sightseeing. Would definately go back to Rome and stay in this Hotel again.

My Wife and I spent a week in Rome for our 12th Anniversary. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. I cannot express enough how much the Staff went above and beyond for us during our stay. Always smiling, helped us book tours, when we had trouble getting a taxi back to the hotel from the Vatican helped us navigate via Metro. They made it extra special for us. My Wife even told them when we left she was going to miss them. You could see they honestly wanted us to have a good time. We have already recommended to friends when we got back home and would definitely stay again.

After a ton of research, my wife and I chose to stay here while on our anniversary visiting Rome (and Italy) for the first time. It was the perfect choice for many reasons. Across the board, the staff was uniformly super helpful and friendly. For instance, they got us a to-go box for breakfast since we were leaving early our first morning there for a tour. It's conveniently located near shopping, the Neptune fountain and easy walking distance to places like the Trevi Fountain (even tho it was being refurbished at the time) and the Spanish Steps. Much of Rome is very walkable, and the folks at the hotel helped point us to wherever we needed to go. The breakfasts were also top-notch, and friendly service there too. The room was a great base to come back and relax in after a long day of walking all over Rome. Comfy beds, nice shower too. It also helped that they had a taxi service on-call and could get us a lift when we needed one in just a few minutes. And again, it's the staff that really make the hotel stand out. If we're lucky enough to return to Rome, we'll definitely come back to the Barocco.
