I can say the same of onsite amenities, which included a nicely outfitted gym and a fashionable, scenic rooftop bar. The hotel location is ideal for short walks to hotspots within Chinatown and Little Italy. Last but certainly not least, every single staff member was friendly, professional, and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

It was our 2nd stay at Hotel 50 Bowery. It did not disappoint us again. EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE! Convenient location, close to Chinatown, Little Italy and Soho in walking distance. Customer service was absolutely perfect. Jordan ( front desk representative) was very thorough and attentive to all our needs during check-in. All staff at front desk and the bellboy was very friendly and helpful, which made us feel welcomed. All requests via app/ with front desk were taken care in a timely matter. The room was clean and all necessary personal care items were provided in the bathroom, which made us feel like at home. We loved their Lounge on 2nd floor where we can enjoy food bought in Chinatown that don’t provide seating/ full seatings. It happens a lot NYC. Highly recommended!! definitely stay at Hotel 50 whenever we are back in NYC.

We stayed one night at Hotel 50 Bowery before getting on the Queen Mary 2 in Brooklyn. Our experience was excellent from start to finish. The bellhop and all-around helper, Kim, was out front immediately to help us with our ridiculously heavy luggage. Check-in was smooth and fast. They were kind enough to give us an extra hour before checkout the next day. We got good restaurant recommendations from the front desk. The room was clean and pleasant with a nice bathroom and a pretty view looking north at the Manhattan skyline. The location is right in the middle of Chinatown and also just a few blocks from Soho and Little Italy. Very lively and fun to walk around. We had a nice dinner in Chinatown and a good breakfast in Soho. After we checked out, we had a few hours before we could board our ship, and Kim stored our luggage so we could walk around. He arranged for a taxi after we returned to the hotel later. We sat in the lobby for awhile and he kept us updated on our cab’s arrival. We felt very taken care of. It’s a nice hotel in a convenient location with helpful, friendly staff, a very good place to stay.

We've stayed at the Hotel 50 Bowery before and while it is a clean and well-located place to stay, this time it wasn't what it once was. Largely because amenities - the restaurant/rooftop is closed (no food, no drinks), no coffee in the room and the coffee that was offered in the main area desperately lacked flavor. That said, staff is very friendly and helpful and the housekeeping does a fantastic job!

When we arrived the front desk was ready and waiting for us. check in was really quick, much faster than normal, and soon we found ourselves in our comfy room. The room is larger than most hotels we have stayed in, in New York City. It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff are really friendly and welcoming and the housekeeping staff is really sweet. We had a great stay. If anything, i would appreciate it if the lights in the lift were a bit brighter because we old folk did have some trouble reading the numbers to find our floor

Everything in the room is clean and in excellent condition. We really enjoy the complimentary coffee/tea on the roof level (previously on the 2nd floor) with newspapers available. The staff is totally on top of their game. Highly recommend.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel and room very clean. Good location in Chinatown. The small room seems typical for the location. Hate the frosted glass sliding bathroom door that lights up the room when your partner goes to the bathroom at night. Hate the shower door that swings out ensuring a wet floor you have to clean up. Loud traffic noise even on an upper floor. I would stay here again.

The room is fine , at check in we were told we could have drinks on the rooftop bar, but after returning from our dinner especially we were refused entry for a private funtion not explained earlier in the day. There is no other bar or restaurant. Breackfast has to be in the room and requires personal details and credit card details (insecure) over a public wifi. Breakfast comes from outside with a limited menue and was tasteless. I had to go to the loby after 30 minute wait and bring it up myself ! Eat out of a paper bag and containers. Then they require ba 20% tip?! This does not include a coffee ( no room facilities) which requires a separate trip to a different floor. They should tip me. Eat on a very pleasant patio on the 2nd floor which was dirty at am with half empty coke bottles lying around and dirty tables.
Minor other things. The curtains do not seal out the early morning light so awoken at dawn. View of rooftop airconditioners.
Good : Room comfortable and clean. Bed OK and a/c worked.

We stayed 3 nights in June. From the moment we arrived we received amazing service from the staff. The front desk staff was very friendly, and helpful with the check in. It went really smoothly and quickly. The room (one king bed with a city view) was perfect! It was modern, clean, comfortable, quiet, and actually spacious compared to other hotels in NYC. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great view of the city as well. The bathroom was clean and modern as well. The coffee is offered up on the rooftop bar which has a beautiful view of the city both from the inside and the outside. We visited the rooftop for drinks in the evening as well and the service and views were both amazing then too.
We didn't need housekeeping during our short stay but they came around to check and offered us more towels and water and the housekeeping staff were very friendly as well.
At the end of our trip, we stored our bags to wander around Little Italy and China town a bit more before the flight, and the gentleman assisting with this was so helpful and even got me a better rate arranged to the airport via a local taxi service (I compared on uber). It really feels like the staff care about the hotel and guests. I will 100% come back to this hotel when I'm in NY next!

Had a really great time here. It’s in Chinatown, the location was surprisingly quieter and calmer for the area - right on Bowery next to the Manhattan bridge . The staff was really responsive and kind. The rooftop is such a plus, the views are amazing and added to our trip. There was coffee and tea on the rooftop in the morning which was a plus. The room was roomy, especially for NY standards, it was decorated well and had bathrobes. Overall - good stay at the right price.
