Try a room with a balcony for an added treat. To be clear, there a three separate inns around the downtown area with the same charm.

Great historic inn! The MOST friendly staff, so very helpful! Great valet service! Room was very pretty-elegantly decorated. Great location!! Walking distance to many stores and restaurants downtown! Elevator was a little scary Lol! Not a deal breaker. I will stay here again!

The building is very cool and they have 1 fully accessible room at the Calvert House location.

Loved the location. Everything we want to do was walking distance from the inn. Waterfront, restaurants, Naval Academy, shopping and sightseeing locations were all right there. Customer Service was terrific as well as the Valet Parking.

We stayed at the Governor Calvert House and couldn't be happier with the room, service and hospitality. Our room was much more spacious than we expected in an historic inn and it carried its history with pride. Front desk, Antsa was very welcoming and helpful and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. Valets Hudson and Brandon T. were great, remembered my name and vehicle and were very efficient. We'll be back.

We've been staying at The Governor Calvert House for years. It's wonderfully located close to everything that Annapolis has to offer. It's clean and the staff is friendly and efficient. A number of years ago, the rooms were re-decorated. Maybe, by a vampire. The rooms are so dark and depressing - not at all warm and inviting. The wallpaper is black and white (mostly black), the furniture is all dark, the drapes are dark, and the carpeting is dark. The rooms, as I mentioned, are clean and the beds are comfortable, but the black really puts us off. It would be so nice to stay in a light, pretty, well-decorated, inviting room! And, yes, they're all that awful. So, by all means, stay there, but be prepared to deal with black,black, black.

The Inns are actually three separate buildings spread around State Circle. There is a single check in & valet service (at the Calvert House) and the valet can take you to the other 2 properties. We stayed at the Calvert House so can not comment on the other 2 buildings....

We stayed at the Calvert House so can not comment on the other 2 buildings. If you have a car then probably need to use the valet service - not cheap but not out of line. All the staff that we met were friendly, efficient and helpful. The room was a king - note the bathroom is not big - maybe 8 foot by 6 (clean but I would say a couple of the towels are getting thin). The bed was very comfortable. The room has a small fridge but Calvert House has no facilities for selling drinks or food (I think one of the other buildings has a part time outlet). The building itself has some nice historic features that you can read about. It is also in a good location and we were able to walk everywhere. Our room faced the front and we did not hear any noise. I have given this 5/5 but really 9/10 due to towels.

Nice room, though VERY noisy heating - we had to switch off, but it was warm so OK. I was a bit miffed at having to pay $75 for two nights parking. A bit much. And there are no amenities. No food, no bar or comfortable lounge. There is an outdoor terrace which is nice, but bring your own refreshments or prepare for an early night. There was a conference on when I was there, but no-one around at night, presumably due to the lack of as place to gather. Shame. Could be a much nicer experience.

Perfect location to visit the state house, Naval Academy, historic district and shopping. Friendly and helpful staff. Large room with one large but uncomfortable chair. Comfortable bed. Room felt stuffy. Windows do not open. Valet parking available.

Stayed in Maryland Inn which is located on Main Street. Right in heart of town. Historic charm but the challenges of a older building with dehumidifier in room to fight dampness Staff very attentive and pleasant Room actually cleaned with making special request

Historic venues ridiculously well located in the heart of the city. Everything clean and friendly. Two night minimum ensured that we could relax into a good city break. Special shout out to the valet Ben, who took great care of us and our baggage and car.
