This hotel has plus’s and minus’s. Location is pretty good only a couple of blocks from the Waikiki beach and shopping area . The staff were fantastic , polite, obliging and genuinely showed interest in providing a good experience to their guests . However the hotel really needs upgrading , I do not like scratched furniture and it really has the vibe of a tired outdated hotel. The rooftop pool pretty basic no Hawaii vibe . The hotel claims 4 dining options these were pretty much the same menus . The main restaurant was more like a diner, compared to the Marriott across the road absolutely no comparison , Marriott more superior in choice and we dined there often . The breakfast buffet was very poor hot options of rice , scrambled eggs, sausage and French toast , usual fruit bagels etc , and self serve coffee , for $3 more go to Dukes . great buffet. made to order omelette and a better choice of hot dishes . All in all this was more like a business hotel and definitely 3 star rating at most . This was our 3rd stay in Oahu and this hotel scored the lowest. Hilton also push their Grand Vacation’s brand which is maybe their priority

This property is located basically one block from the beach, and the location is great because it is near everything but not itself in the high-end part of Waikiki. (That’s an easy walk away if you want things like winter coats from famous designers, but that’s not why I travel to Hawaii.). Room was plenty comfortable and having an ocean view was great for seeing the sunset. (It’s ocean view, not oceanfront; there is a parking lot, church, and hotel between the hotel and the shore.) The beach towel system worked great. Pool deck had things to do, but this is not a property where the pool is an important part of the experience. Nice to have the food options onsite, but the other options nearby were more fun and tasted better. Something about it felt more like a Hilton Garden Inn rather than a Hilton. Which is fine, both are good, but I think it’s that with so many other hotels nearby that seem more upscale from the outside, the property didn’t really “feel” equivalent for the brand. As long as you have the right expectations (quality and comfort rather than luxury, close to rather than on the beach, more interesting dining offsite, not a huge pool), this is an excellent place to stay. I would happily return.

My husband and I had a lovely stay at the Hilton Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa. The check-in process was welcoming, setting the tone for a positive stay. Everyone we encountered was warm and pleasant. Our ocean-view room was clean, and well-appointed with modern amenities. I was impressed with the space planning and the cheerful use of yellow accent colors, which added a lot to the atmosphere. Housekeeping was attentive and ensured we had everything we needed. We enjoyed a relaxing couples massage at the onsite spa. We splurged on daybeds at the pool, which were very comfortable and provided a relaxing oasis. The poolside food and drinks were good and reasonably priced. I appreciated the friendly and efficient service from the pool staff. I also loved that there were restrooms conveniently located on the pool deck. While the prime rib buffet offered pleasant service, we found the quality of the food to be underwhelming for the price. Being a block away from the beach offered a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere, free from the noise of beachfront activities, while being close enough for quick access. Overall, we highly recommend the Hilton Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Waikiki.

We were there to enjoy our honeymoon for 10 days: **Short Version:** Four stars? More like a cosmic joke. It’s a solid 1-2 star experience. Save yourself the trouble and run! **Pros:** 1. **Location:** Sure, it’s a stone’s throw from Waikiki Beach. Perfect for when you want to flee the hotel and never look back. 2. **Convenience:** They’ve got that hot/cold fountain water for when the tap feels too mainstream. 3. **Valet Service:** A bright spot—these folks know how to park a car. 4. **Housekeeping:** They do a decent job **Cons:** 1. **No Points for Hilton Members:** Book through Costco? Say goodbye to those precious Hilton points. It’s like they’re punishing you for being thrifty. 2. **Outdated Facilities:** Welcome to the ‘80s—dust is practically a decorative feature. 3. **Misleading Ocean View:** Get ready for a sliver of ocean blocked by skyscrapers. Mostly, it’s a parking lot panorama—what a steal! 4. **No Microwave:** Need a microwave? That’s $50 for a week. Might as well cook on your car engine. Oh, sorry, forgot you can’t access it, go head to tip the valet to bring it down to you. 5. **Laundry Facilities:** Dirty machines, $4 a spin, and your clothes remain a soggy mess. Who needs dry clothes anyway? 6. **Parking:** - Valet-only for a mere $55/day before tax. Because self-parking is so last century. - The valet drop-off is a circus act—good luck not getting trampled. 7. **Balcony:** Tiny, dirty, and equipped with two flimsy chairs. Prepare for an uncomfortable, non-private balcony experience. 8. **Sofa:** A masterpiece of stains and wear—a living exhibit of neglected furniture. 9. **Bed Bugs:** Because nothing says luxury like sharing your bed with critters. 10. **Refrigerator:** The fridge is a relic and the closet door doesn’t close—adds to the room’s historic charm. 11. **MAC Restaurant:** Greasy food, undrinkable coffee, and servers who can’t be bothered. A 20% discount? Still not worth it. 12. **Resort Fee:** Reduced to $20 from $45 via Costco, but still a scam. The so-called amenities are a joke: - DVD rental with a selection from the Stone Age. - Magic shows that make your money disappear—$100 a pop. - Strict rules for basic amenities: one free towel/chair per room; more? Pay up $15 each. 13. **Dirty Ice Machine:** Ice with a side of grime. 14. **Hairdryer:** Moldy and disgusting—just what you wanted. 15. **Bathroom Lights:** Ingeniously designed to keep the bedroom illuminated all night—who needs sleep? 16. **Shower:** Water temperature surprises to keep your shower experience thrilling.

A perfectly acceptable and enjoyable Waikiki hotel with lots to recommend a stay here. Comfortable rooms and beds, jaw dropping views. of the water and beach from the room and the balcony which can only be described as memorable. Fair pricing as well for the location and amenities. Staff were warm, friendly, and always helpful and courteous. A convenient location to the beach and nearby shops served us well. I would have given it another star were it not for the mediocre (at best) restaurant where we had breakfast every morning and a lunch. Having stayed here once before, the on site restaurant at that time was terrific. Sadly, those days are no more. Mix ups in the kitchen on multiple orders, a pizza that tasted like it came straight from the freezer before being baked, etc, left us with a bad taste, literally. the wait staff were great. The food was not. We had free breakfast and I usually never complain about anything “free,” but I have to make an unfortunate exception at this hotel. Just eat somewhere else and you’ll have a great time.

Worse than a 3-star hotel

The hotel is more close to a 2 start hotel trying to make up by wearing an expensive belt. The customer service is just rude and it felt like I was a nuisance to them. Food was subpar and completely disjointed from the price. Infrastructure is not only old, but it looks like it lacks maintenance. The airport shuttle that they're partnered with will leave you stranded in the airport, not reply any emails or phone calls. Room amenities are lacking, basic stuff like bedroom slippers, toothpaste, proper soap, razor. Even a budget hotel like premiere inn would offer these. There's not a single microwave in the entire hotel, which is actually funny. The bar closes very early, which makes the pool experience kinda pointless in a holiday, and the bar fridge is miniscule.

Hotel in an ideal spot for Waikīkī beach. Trolley bus stops right outside. Pink Line Hop on/off all you need for Waikīkī. $5.50 pp. Hotel good. My only complaint was the greeter/seater (Berna) at breakfast. We made the mistake of requesting a different table on first morning (we also had coupons) & after that were treated very differently from other guests. She was surly& aloof. I think anyone in the service sector needs to have a good attitude with guests. All other restaurant staff were most pleasant & helpful - even the Robot.

We booked transportation from the airport to this hotel using the Hilton Hotel site, which recommended Sky Tours. However we could not locate their offices in the airport and they failed to answer the telephone number we had. Eventually a person at one of the Airport Visitor desks managed to get connected at their second attempt. We were told to go to Area 5 and wait. The bus eventually arrived nearly 30 minutes later. Not a good start when flight numbers and arrival details had been provided. Another passenger with his young family had been waiting even longer. When we arrived at our hotel we reported the disappointing experience to the hotel receptionist. He did not really seem interested despite our reporting that the experience had been recommended by Hilton and did not meet expectations associated with the Hilton brand or reflect well on them. We had been travelling for nearly 24 hours by this time and just craved our beds. We will not use Sky Tours to return to the airport. An Uber costs less and is more dependable. Failing that a Number 20 bus runs from the airport to outside the hotel and costs $3. Having been here a few days we have had issues with the hotel internet cutting out. The Resort charge of $45 a day remains a mystery. An unnecessary charge as we did not see any additional benefits, and just looks greedy. Frankly, any extra charges such as this irritate me and puts me off returning. The pool terrace has some cabanas, which cost $75 for half a day and $150 for all day. There are sunbeds on. the pool terrace but no parasols at all. I have fair skin and such disregard for prevention of skin cancer is not a good sign. We are on a Bed & Breakfast basis. However the breakfast provides a guest with a coupon for a breakfast of $22 or less. This does not allow for selections of cereals, yogurts, fruit, juice, or continental breakfast and I have never had such a limited choice of breakfast in any high end hotel round the world. Pancakes and cooked breakfast is good but a little heavy for my taste. There were other breakfast dishes which cost $1 more, which seems rather petty to exclude them from guests with coupons.

We stayed @ the Hilton waikiki beach resort and spa. It was a waste of my 175K points rewards. I am a good member. The restaurant food was terrible. It was from the package and cans warmed up to the table. We used the bottle if ketchup on the table. It was black in color. I checked the date on the bottle and dated for 08/20. I asked for the manager , never showed up. I purchased breakfast @ the front cafe. The food was bad even the date on package was correct and up to date but the food inside package was spoiled. I talk to the manager @ the front desk. Just she was sorry. I went to get beach chairs. They only gave me one and asked to pay for the second. Even you book the room for two and pay high dollars for resort fees which includes beach chairs. The answer was sorry and those people do not work for Hilton but contractors. I refused one chair. I called two days out of three for coffe bags and cups. They did not leave us any coffee bags.

This is my 5th time at the hotel in over a decade. The hotel looks the same as it did a decade ago and does not look like it has been upgraded. It is absolutely not a resort. More a convention type of hotel. To room is full of dust and the couch in the room had a big stain and rips along with a urine smell. When reporter they did all possible to clean the stain. Housekeeping is ok but towels have some white and some graying from lots of use though they are clean. Whoever designed the bathroom needs a lesson on designs since the idea of the shower door opening onto the toilet plus it’s a big step down when the shower floor is slippery was don’t without much thinking. We booked on a discounted site to get a lower rate, and because of that they would not honor our status with Hilton. The room had no water in it to drink besides the tap in the bathroom in dusty glasses by the ice bucket which is also dusty. The tv though is a large screen Samsung unit is not a smart tv, rather they want you to rent dvd’s in the lobby to watch movies if you don’t like the programs on the local tv stations. Common Hilton you are in 2025 and not 2000. Bfst at mac 24/7 is ok but they cut the menu down and a lot of items no longer available and don’t think y out can eat here at midnight or 5am in case you have an early flight. They really need to rename the restaurant. Overall this was our last stay at this hotel since why stay somewhere they don’t update for years.
