The actual resort is very nice and the staff was helpful. However the Hilton Grand Vacations staff are pathological liars. Literally everything they told us that convinced us to buy a membership was a deliberate, intentional lie. For example they told us we could sell back some of our points to offset expenses like loan payments and annual maintenance. When I called Hilton to do this they told me that they have no such program and that the sales person, Chris Watson, lied.

The entire staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The one bedroom unit was exceptionally clean and well equipped for our stay. The one policy that I questioned was the daily amenities fee that you had to pay for. It came out to be just over $70 for the week and it covered WiFi, access to a news app, use of the barbecue utensils, pool tables and basketball/volleyball courts. I feel that WiFi should always be included, I get my news from the apps on my phone and as far as the rest of the amenities we didn’t use any of them due to it being December and us being there to visit the surrounding areas. The amenities fee is more of a money grab than anything else. These policies have to come to an end or Airbnb will be getting more of my business.

4 stars just A time share resort, so you cannot check-in without having that unwanted conversation about investing in such a stay. Since in room 2301B, 2 of the 3 sash windows had broken window lift cords; such an investment should be low on any investor’s check list. We could not get the air con to do any cooling and therefore the room temp was always about 74 F, which was way too hot for the thick bed quilt as supplied. Our ‘upgraded’ view room, on a top floor also had 21 steps up, which was a pain and we travel the world with 2 large suitcases when we are away for many weeks at a time. Very noisy HVAC units too that disrupted our sleep and the golf course had a noisy leaf blower going from 7 – 10 am on Friday 01 Nov. So not much peace and quiet, despite being out in the country. The ‘resort fee’ of $15 USD / day also annoys (nickle and dimeing in 2024). The stay otherwise ticked many boxes: clean overall and with a well set up kitchen, nice towels too; BUT it is 11 miles away from Gatlinburg; where you will often need to be or drive thru, to see the local NP sights.

What an unexpected pleasure for a much needed vacation. Everyone was so helpful and pleasant. The property and rooms were perfectly clean and well stocked with everything you need. What an unexpected pleasure for a much needed vacation. Everyone was so helpful and pleasant. The property and rooms were perfectly clean and well stocked with everything you need. I recommend this property to everyone especially if you want to relax and have wonderful views. The golfing was fantastic. No waiting and perfectly kept. I can't wait to book again and bring friends. 10 minutes from the center of Gatlinburg and far enough away to enjoy the quiet. Best value in the area.

I will say that the staff were absolutely fantastic! From checking in to all the staff on the property every one was friendly and accommodating. The unit we requested was on the first floor and was a one bedroom. It was well equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals....

The unit we requested was on the first floor and was a one bedroom. It was well equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals. We used the gas grills and utensils were provided by the resort. The bed was very comfortable. The washer and dryer was great to have and use. The grounds are well kept. It is great for families with a big game room, outdoor playground, indoor and outdoor pools. Adults have a well equipped health center. There is something for everyone to do. The resort is safe and quiet. I enjoyed walking outside to see the beautiful mountains and golf course there.

My wife and I stayed here for a week in March. We had a 1-bedroom suite. A full kitchen is included. With almost everything you need to prepare meals when not in the mood to go out to eat, having a kitchen was ideal! There is a Food City just 9 miles away for all your grocery needs. Also, the main touristy stuff in town is about 12 miles from this resort (an 18 - 25 minute drive, depending on traffic). The surrounding area is lovely. We enjoyed staying here immensely! There is a $15 plus tax Daily Resort Fee.
