I can’t say enough great things about the staff. Hugo and Alfredo and all of them were very outstanding. Knowledgeable about things to do. All of the staff take the time to get to know you, they set up activities around the resort that make it even more enjoyable. The scenery and room was just spectacular. We can’t wait to go back!

We love this place, can’t fault it. The ambience, the staff, maybe not all the steps and the drive way, they aren’t for the feint hearted so think again if you have breathing problems or a difficulty walking!!! Having said that they have golf carts and are very accommodating but if you have problems talk to them before booking. 1 problem we found which will only get worse now that it is Hilton is that the Hilton group have a far larger reach meaning there will be more people trying to book the same number of rooms. We were lucky being able to get 2 weeks but had to go somewhere else in the middle week. If you can get in you will love it as we do. Finally everyone complains about the people dumping a towel and a book on a beach chair. Fine if you are going to walk the beach and then sit in it, or have a meal and sit back but it is becoming frequently noticed that some people just put the towels down and head out for 4-5 hours ant that is just rude but unfortunately the same all over the world despite the notes by the chairs no one enforces the rule about towels etc being removed after 1 hours absence!

I've never left a review, bad or otherwise, before. That's how strongly I feel about this experience. It was all good until last night. I'm going to tell you that something bad happened. But bad things can happen anywhere. My grievance with this hotel is that they did nothing to make it right. The people in the room next to mine came back late at night. There was a lot of door slamming and yelling. For hours. I called reception twice and they said they would send security. They didn't send security. I would have heard security if they came. Because I could hear everything. I could hear that the guy locked himself in the bathroom, until 4 am, and the woman was pounding on the door and yelling and opening and slamming other doors. And he was yelling at her from behind the locked door. Security didn't do anything, so I had to. I don't like confrontation, but I also don't like being 10 feet away from domestic violence all night. The shouty people didn't answer the door but one of the times I went outside there were two young girls who were outside crying and they said they were sorry and that they had to stay outside, or something. And then I felt even lousier because they had it worse than I did. I was awake all night but at least I was awake all night on a comfortable bed. I called reception this morning and I talked to the acting manager and she said that it wasn't the hotel's fault. I mean, I guess that's true. But it isn't about whose fault it is. It's about who's responsible for ensuring guests have a peaceful stay. And I think it's fair to say that the people who work at a place that calls itself a "Grand Vacations Club" are responsible for ensuring that guests don't have a miserable time.
