The hotel deserves its five stars. We stayed on the 24th floor with a view of the city and partly of the sea. On the 5th floor there was a swimming pool open to the view of the sea waves. On the 3rd floor there was a restaurant where we had breakfast. The food was delicious, composed of flavors from different regions of the world. There really was nothing missing. The service was polite. The rooms were very clean, the beds were comfortable. In the bathroom there were plenty of toilet gadgets. The hotel also has other attractions such as a nightclub on the roof (additional fee). At the reception you can exchange currency if necessary. In addition, the hotel has a private tunnel leading to the beach where there are hotel sunbeds and towels. We highly recommend the Havana hotel to everyone.

Recently my husband and I stayed at Havana Nha Trang hotel for a week and we had such a wonderful stay. The hotel is amazing and we will always come back here when staying in Nha Trang. The rooms are fantastic, we had the Junior King Suite and it was huge! The views of the beach are fantastic. They have their own tunnel to get to the beach in a very short walk. The Staff are absolutely fantastic. The night before we left to fly home to Australia by husband fell over in a local seafood restaurant near by and the staff couldn't do enough to help. The concierge helped to arrange crutches to be delivered to the hotel which were delivered very quickly. They provided ice for his knee, kept checking in on us to see how he was and gave us a free late check out so we could stay comfortable in our room before our flight back to Australia. I cannot thank the hotel staff enough for the kind support and help they provided to us. I will be recommending all friends and family to come stay here. It's such a wonderful hotel, we hadn't planned on staying as long as we did but we loved it that much we didn't want to leave. 5 Stars all the way!

SNAPSHOT: Havana Hotel boasts over 1,000 rooms and is around 40-60 minutes drive from the airport. Public hotel spaces are very busy and consequently noisy, but our (high floor) rooms were very quiet. We were very satisfied with our initial Deluxe Seaview room and then the complimentary upgrade to a Junior Suite Ocean QB. Both room types were of high quality offering impressive beachfront views. Nothing to be really impressed about regarding the buffet breakfast, except to say that a very wide range of choices is offered (Asian/International). Pool and gym facilities are available. Reception staff were friendly, informative and very helpful. We recommend this hotel overall. BE AWARE: Make sure you arrange for transport to the hotel either in advance or by negotiation once you arrive at the airport. We didn't and paid VND640K by metered taxi from the airport. The taxi driver was very, very happy. On the way back we found a private driver in advance and paid VND300K. A buffet breakfast is duplicated on two separate floors to accommodate the big numbers of guests at this hotel. CRITIQUE: We stayed for 2nights/3 days here and then transferred to Sunrise Hotel (see our other review). We enjoyed both hotels, each offering something different during our time on the Nha Trang beach strip. Havana Hotel is a high quality hotel attracting large numbers of tourists. It's location directly across from the beach (accessible by an underground private walkway) is a big plus. Our high floor rooms were modern, well appointed, clean, spacious and quiet. Wifi was strong as was the hot water. Direct views to the ocean were outstanding. The usual hotel essentials were supplied: complimentary coffee/tea and bottled water in the studio room proper and shampoo, liquid soap etc in the bathroom. Other main room features include: cable TV, safety box, and mini-fridge. No ceiling fans, but good AC. Web photos are somewhat misleading - the adult pool on the second floor is not large, especially given that there are over 1,000 rooms in the hotel, but there is a separate infant's pool. The hotel reception area is big and bold, with plenty of places to sit and a few food/drink outlets. No issues with either check-in or check-out. The hotel has about 6 or so card-access elevators. We cannot remark on the rooftop entertainment and viewing area as we did not go up there except to say there is a charge and it's only available from 5pm onwards. One night each week is free for ladies. BEYOND THE HOTEL: The Nha Trang beach esplanade is worth exploring in both directions no matter where you stay, though we found the much wider bayfront beach in Da Nang near the White Sand Hotel of even better quality. It's good to see that local authorities in coastal regions of Vietnam keep their streets and beaches clean and well maintained; not so in the larger cities. We recommend an excellent (but rather pricey) seafood restaurant close to the hotel, Hải sản Mộc quán Nha Trang. Havana Hotel offers easy access to plenty of local restos, tourist shopping and supermarkets either by walking or e-hail ride. ADVICE: Research the various room types before booking. We scored well. Hope you do too. It also helps to stay in Nha Trang during the non-rainy season if you are hoping for consistently clear skies and a blue sea.
