Hampton by Hilton Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach

A boring Hampton but with some little worthwhile gems. Nothing special about the hotel itself but these are the things that we liked about it: Must-visit delicious and charming Ms.Piper’s restaurant (and bar beside the pool) that is tucked away behind this non-beachside hotel and the next oceanfront hotel. Quaint small boutique pool with lounge chairs. You have access to loungers and umbrellas on a small stretch of the beach. We literally had to reserve seats at 7am. If you didn’t, I think you may/may not get some loungers in the back row. The location is walking distance to the shopping district and would highly recommend renting a mask and snorkel for about $10USD (includes 2nd day free) at the dive shop along the way. I spotted a green turtle and respectfully snorkelled beside it for 10 minutes-so lucky! Otherwise just lots of cute fish and the water makes you very buoyant so no vest needed. Grand Cayman is very expensive so it’s a good value hotel. Other tips: Tillie’s restaurant is a must-visit. Amazing atmosphere and food.

The staff are exceptionally friendly and professional. I noted on my reservation that I was with two people who were mobility impaired we were put on the second floor which was fine because there was an elevator however we were the second to last room on the hallway which made it really difficult for the mobility impaired to get around. Some of the facilities were not available due to special events and after talking to the front desk they credited my card back for those days with the resort fee. They offer a free buffet breakfast that is yummy with lots to pick from.

We had a wonderful experience at this Hampton Inn. My husband travels frequently and this is one of the nicest ones we have ever stayed in. Wonderful service and plenty of amenities just steps from 7 Mile beach. You can get a beach chair or a bicycle for free that the hotel provides. Eleanora gave us extra special attention and she was extremely helpful very friendly and a real asset to this Hampton Inn

Good location, close to airport and easy walking distance to restaurants, SMB and Camana bay! Way better value than the 2 x 5 star hotels that I have stayed at on the island at triple the price ! Excellent friendly,helpful and welcoming staff. Clean room, good facilities,good breakfast. Just have to knock one star for old aircon unit that sporadically bursts into life and sounds like a jet engine🤪 And also fire alarm went off at 1.30 am in the morning 😱

I've been travelling for business and staying at this hotel for the past 15 years and it just keeps getting better. Great location - central to everything. It has a nice gym, the breakfast is always good and has lots of variety. The restaurant on site is fantastic (locals actually visit the restaurant because it is so good) and the staff are friendly and helpful. Then there is also the fact the hotel is on the beautiful 7 Mile beach and the pool area is lovely. While great for business, it also offers an economical, yet enjoyable, option for leisure travel.

As far as the hotel goes to Hampton by Hilton for us was a great economical place to stay on Grand Cayman the shuttle bus and the drivers were the best it takes you all up and down seven Mile Beach. There were only a few hiccups with the hotel one was, we asked the room be cleaned only one day out of the five nights stay, and there was some miscommunication as it was not cleaned in a timely manner so when we got back, the room was still a mess, but they they rectified that by having a maintenance staff come and clean the room and we did ask for a late checkout and was denied, but all in all a great place to stay everybody was nice Miss Piper’s kitchen the little restaurant back there by the pool everything was nice so we enjoyed this stay . Thank you.

My husband and I had an amazing stay at the Hampton by Hilton Grand Cayman. The room was spacious and clean. The amenities were also great and the continental breakfast every morning was delicious. The staff was friendly and welcoming. A special thanks to Ismael for being so friendly, informative and kind to us during our stay! He helped make our stay unforgettable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to future travelers!

This place is a great bang for your buck. Excellent breakfast served every morning. The people who work here are so kind and accommodating. Traveled with my elderly parents and it was very easy for them to get around. Not on the beach, but the beach is very walkable from here. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Very centrally located on 7 mile beach.

We had a great experience at the Hampton. We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed everything about it with a special thanks to the staff and specially Eleanor and Ismael. They went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The location is great and shuttle to the beach with Keith was easy and quick. Rooms are nice and comfortable and we were able to walk to Camana Bay for dinners and night life. Breakfast was also good with a lot of options. Thanks again to Eleanor and the rest of the staff.

Great location on the south end of Seven Mile Beach. The Hampton Inn has modern and comfortable rooms, equipped with a small kitchenette area with a microwave, small fridge, sink and dishes - perfect for preparing light meals or snacks. Anika in housekeeping took very good care of us and always had a cheerful greeting. There is a charming pool area in a garden like setting behind the hotel and a 2 minute walk on a sandy path to a small beach area. There was an issue with sargassum washing up on the beach while we were there. Work crews cleaned it up each day. There is very limited seating area at the beach and you cannot walk the beach in that area due to beach erosion. It was convenient having Miss Piper’s restaurant and bar right next to the pool/garden area. There are several other restaurants within easy walking distance. The Camana Bay shopping/restaurant area is also within walking distance. There were many options for the complimentary breakfast including fresh fruit, yogurt, eggs, bacon, waffles and various pastries. The breakfast staff were always pleasant and helpful! There were 3 or 4 boys’ soccer teams staying at the hotel while we were there which made the breakfast area very crowded at times. All the staff were very pleasant and we used the shuttle service several times to visit other beaches and restaurants along Seven Mile Beach. Our shuttle driver Rocque was exceptionally pleasant and helpful!

Overall good experience. Staff was helpful for the most part. Had excellent room cleaning by Marcia, she was the best! Make sure you ask them about their shuttle service as they can take you pretty much wherever you would like along Seven Mile Beach. The beach area was small but the view was pretty. Lots of restaurants and places to walk to. Public bus is easy to navigate.

I had an unexpected injury while staying at the Hampton Inn and the entire staff could not have been more accommodating, concerned, helpful and caring. The hotel was a great place to stay (mostly by the great pool) in Cayman and my visit, while not what I expected, was non- the-less enjoyable. The shuttle drivers, Rockie and Keeth were very kind shuttling me to and from the Health City urgent care and beyond. The breakfast staff, ( Sellis, Trucinda and Gladys) were very helpful waiting on me with my limited mobility. The poolside bar staff were also very kind to me all week. Finally, our housekeeper was helpful and concerned. In addition, the many guests from around the world could not have been more helpful and kind. It boosted my faith in the goodness of humankind. Thank you for making my visit as good as it could be!

Perfect locations! If you are looking for something affordable. The staff was great. Did not get a chance to eat at the restaurant, yet it looked super cute. We were able to rent a go pro for free which photos were easily uploaded to phone. Its about a 2 min walk to the back of the hotel which beach front is shared with another hotel. The other hotel basically takes up all the lawn chairs. Our hotel provides about 10 of them.

We recently went to GC and I found this group very helpful, so I thank you for all the past posts. We very much enjoyed GC, very beautiful, clean, friendly, safe and good food. We stayed at Hampton Inn, which was very nice and I would recommend it. My one disappointment was at check-out. When you receive your final bill, it will be in KYD currency, which will still be converted into US currency once your CC is charged. If you eat at Ms. Piper's or ordered at the bar, pay for it at the time of closing out. DO NOT say "charge it to my room". We charged it to our room, and at the time of closing out each day, it showed our KYD total, 16% service charge (which is done at every restaurant/bar), then the US conversion. We still added a small tip (ontop of the 16% automatically added) to be nice. At the time of checkout, each of final amounts at Ms. Piper's was on the final hotel receipt.....that then got converted into US currency.....again. Your resort fee is also on the final receipt, which still needs to be converted too. We paid our bill at the front desk and then 3 days later when we were back home, our CC showed an additional $103. I emailed the hotel and the manager kept saying to me that Piper's restaurant/bar only enters the KYD total into the system for those who said "charge it to the room". When in fact, they did not. They entered that final amount after US conversion. I understand paying the resort fee US conversion, but we should not pay 2 conversions for anything we charged at Ms. Piper's.

I really enjoyed the ocean as you could snorkel in the ocean and I loved Ms. Pipers restaurant it was expensive but very delicious fresh food but all of Cayman Islands more expensive to eat than Hawaii make Hawaii look like a cheap vacation hahaha. The staff is very nice and welcoming they suggest snorkel stops and even one staff an italian lady helped me with my luggage and gave me a bigger room for staying longer and be a hilton honors guest, she has great customer service. Another staff also great helped me book many tours and I highly recommend going to the crystal caves and also bioluminesce tour and stingray city with two snorkel stops. Also staff at restaurant were very nice and suggested places I could go snorkeling in the area. I think they get an A plus for customer service they just need to lower the air conditioning because I got sick from swimming in hot air to refrigerator air conditioning inside.
