The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman

Wonderful hotel with every amenity imaginable. Rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. Swimming pools and workout facilities are top notch and very clean. Service at pools and on the beach are excellent. Daily breakfast buffet in Seven has a huge assortment of food along with made to order omelet station. RedSail boat tours to Stingray City dock directly at the hotel which is extremely convenient. The big difference are the employees who really go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. All staff members were extremely helpful, friendly, and courteous. Concierge service is excellent and would definitely recommend utilizing their services. Would like a little stronger air conditioning in rooms but with drapes closed and ceiling fan on high the room was able to get to around 69 degrees F. Can't wait to return.

Although we weren’t ultimately able to stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman for our anniversary trip, the level of hospitality we experienced from the team deserves recognition. Due to availability, we were accommodated at their sister property, but before we even unpacked, we were welcomed with a beautifully handwritten note from Raza and Javier, along with the sweetest welcome gifts for our family. The personalized touches were completely unexpected and incredibly thoughtful. As someone who deeply values exceptional customer service, moments like these leave a lasting impression. The team could have simply transferred our reservation and moved on, but instead they made us feel seen, appreciated, and genuinely cared for. Luxury isn’t defined only by beautiful accommodations—it’s defined by how people make you feel. Even though we weren’t staying at The Ritz-Carlton itself, their team embodied the legendary service the brand is known for. Thank you, Raza, Javier, and the entire team, for making our family feel so welcome. Your kindness only strengthened our desire to stay at The Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman on our next visit, and we hope to experience your beautiful resort firsthand very soon.

We had a wonderful stay at the Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman. The entire property, including the grounds, interior, pools, and beach, is beautiful and meticulously maintained. The crystal clear water is among the best in the Caribbean. But where the Ritz-Carlton truly separates itself is the service. The staff consistently went above and beyond, and were especially accommodating to our young children. This is the perfect resort for a luxury family vacation. We look forward to our inevitable return.

I would give this resort a 4.5 if I could, but rounded up to 5. I stayed with my husband, 2.5 yr old, and 4.5 yr old. The service throughout the stay was outstanding. For example, I asked about where I could find strawberries one day and grocery stores were closed and concierge sent some to the room for us free of charge for our daughter. Mr. Jack who did the fish feeding in the evenings was amazing. Our kids loved watching it every night. Another day I was spending time with my 4 year old in the ambassadors areas and Beatrice (? Not 100% sure that's the right name, but it started with a B) was going to make banana bread and had my daughter help her since we were the only people in there. The room was solid, but a bit small. We had a king + sofabed ocean view. The view was nice, but didn't blow me away. The sofabed worked well for our kids and I found it comfy enough when laying with them at times. The pools are great and all have shallow areas for kids to play. My kids loved the water park and also the random treats that came by every once in awhile. Restaurants were all great. Andiamo was our favorite. Try the cauliflower entree even if you aren't vegetarian (we did it as an app). It was a standout for us. The criticisms I would give of the resort are: - shower water smelled a bit, my husband didn't notice but my hair never got quite clean there. - kids club really isn't great for a 4 year old even if she was technically eligible. She wouldn't feel comfortable being gone from us for 3+ hours without her brother even being there. More short activities would be a great addition. Also, any activities that a 2 year old could participate in would be welcome. - pickleball doesn't have open play, which makes the courts pretty hard to use unless you are traveling with a group that all wants and is able to play

My wife and I recently vacationed at the Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman with close friends we’ve known for over 30 years, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. We stayed on the Penthouse Floor with access to the Club Lounge. While it is certainly not inexpensive, if it’s within your budget, it is absolutely worth it. We got more than what we paid for. The Club Lounge was amazing. The service from the entire staff was exceptional, and the food quality and variety were outstanding. Kudos to the chef and the entire team. Our room was beautifully appointed and impeccably maintained throughout our stay. The staff at the pool and our beach cabana were equally fantastic, always attentive and welcoming. We were also fortunate to have perfect weather all five days, which made the experience even more special. The entire stay felt like paradise. A sincere thank you to everyone at The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman for making it such a memorable experience.

Mrs. Sulu and I were celebrating our 35th anniversary and her 60th birthday and did so by sneaking away to one of our favorite spots to do so, Grand Cayman. To be honest, the Ritz wasn’t in our original plan, but due to broken promises from another hotel, we made a pivot, that in hindsight, was the best decision of our trip. The rooms here were clean, spacious, well appointed, and felt like they had been recently renovated. The hotel also has several on-site restaurants that serve a variety of cuisines and offer different levels of fanciness. They had a great morning coffee bar on the lagoon side, but our favorite morning spot for coffee and yummy snacks was “The Cupboard”, just off the elevators on the beach side. I could go on and on about the beauty and grandeur of the hotel, but the true magic of this property lies in its people. The Ritz promises a premium experience and in our case, they delivered on that through their employees. As an HR professional, I can truly appreciate the effort that has been put forth to not only screen and hire the right people, but to also instill a culture of exceptional guest service through the training and experience that has been provide to them. Incredible work on the part of the hotel. We encountered several examples of this throughout our stay. On our way to the beach on our first day, Adonis, who helped us with our beach set, looked up at us, paused for a minute, and then remembered our last name. We both looked at his name tag and remembered him from our stay a few years back when he worked at another hotel down the beach. It was so great to see him again and catch up on his life and family. Adonis took good care of us all week and even sent us an incredibly sweet (no pun intended) amenity for our anniversary. His service and attention was WAY above and beyond anything that we expected. Later in the week we encountered Alex, and got to know her as well. I'd always go down early to grab our beach chairs and when Alex would start her shift, she would always swing by to make sure we had the towels and shades we needed for the day. She told us she was glad she didn't blow away on that windy day, but she's tougher than she looks as I saw her slinging those 5 gallon jugs of water over her head regularly as the week went on. On our last day as we were checking out, we found a beach bag hanging on our door with a note from Alex and some incredibly thoughtful good-bye presents in it. It was a truly thoughtful gesture. And lastly there was Destiene (pronounced Destiny - apologies if I spelled that wrong) from the Cupboard. She greeted us with a big smile and enthusiastic welcome each morning when we stopped by to get our morning coffee and Chai. She was always super friendly and made sure we got everything we needed to start the day. Oh, and there was also our housekeeper, Suriti (6th floor). She was incredible as well! Our room was always immaculate and the swans and roses decoration she put together on our bed for our arrival night was spectacular! To sum it up, these were the folks that truly went above and beyond for us, but the entire staff was top notch and was responsible for truly making this trip a lifetime memory. We can't wait to come back!

The resort was well maintained and the rooms well appointed. I did not know there are two towers. One that faces the ocean, and one that is the “resort tower.” Although the resort was not at capacity, we were placed at the resort tower. It is fine but you need to know that the restaurants and beach access are a long walk across a bridge. We paid $600 for a day bed that was wedged in among rows and rows of beach chairs. Zero privacy and service was just okay. NOT worth $600.

Not perfect but a lovely lovely stay for 6 nights. GC does not have any other luxury brand hotels. It would have been nice to have had a dedicated concierge to ask questions of. I think we have gotten used to a Rosewood/Auberge/4S standard and The Ritz Carlton does not have that type of personal engaged connection with its guests. The pool is very nice with excellent attentive service. Thank you Ovi! The pool could use some music or atmosphere. The beach and water are stunning and the entire reason for being on Grand Cayman. This is among the widest stretches of Seven Mile Beach. One day we had some light sargassum and the resort has it cleaned up in an instant. Our oceanfront room was comfortable and large but the bed was hard and the pillows were in need of replacement. The daily breakfast was nice but repetitive. Thank you to Michelle and Od for providing warm and friendly service. The food at Saint June was hit and miss. We had a couples massage with bamboo rollers which was pretty good. The golf is not really worth it. No views of the ocean. One 9 hole course that you play twice for 18 holes. We had a rental car which was nice to explore the island and drive to Starfish Point, Spotts and Cemetery for snorkeling but we still ended up paying between $60 - $80 round trip for dinners. There are a lot of restaurants within walking distance whether on the road or along the beach. We loved eating at Morgans, Tilly's, Casanova (OMG, so good, like being in Greece/Southern Italy), Ms. Pipers, Macabuca. Bonny Moon and Pom Pom were fine for dinner. We paid almost $2,000 for a no frills private 2 hour bioluminescence tour booked through the hotel. Not sure that was worth the amount paid. Overall, I would recommend RCGC if you were not renting a house or condo.

Spent 5 nights at the Ritz Cayman. Loved every minute of it. The friendliness of the staff and service was amazing. They are there to please and that they did. Highly recommend an ocean front room. Special shout out to the staff at seven during breakfast who were so nice and the valet staff who were always smiling and helpful. We will be back for sure.

We enjoyed our stay at The Ritz Carlton, Grand Cayman. The Club Level is one of the best RC club levels. The Club Level concierges and staff are warm, courteous and attentive. (Cebo was particularly helpful both before and during our stay. ) The food presentations are inventive, delicious and integrates both local and global cuisines. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Valet services were excellent. And we thoroughly enjoyed the water sports (paddleboarding, banana boat, kayaking, jetskis) at the beach -- all the individuals working there were professional and made sure we were taken care of. We tried several times but were never able to use the tennis and pickleball courts. Even light and intermittent drizzling rain made closed the courts for use even after the drizzling had stopped. We were able to book spa services on two separate days and they were wonderful. We had one minor issue raised post-stay, but it was satisfactorily resolved.

Okay so with kids in March this is an easy 5⭐️. Now if you do not have children I would suggest not going then because the resort is mainly full of kids 10 and under. They have so many poolside treats for them - cotton candy, popsicles, sno cones and more. Also they received a ton of freebies in the room - hats, sand pails, etc. The Club which we typically chose had amazing food and everyone was so lovely - especially Anthony (in training by the wonderful Daniel) Lester and Selah. At the pool/beach Micheal and Alex exceeded our expectations. We also adored Hassan who delivered our baggage. You do need to get pool/beach chairs at 7 am if you want a good spot but I had no problem with that. We all already miss this special place.

My husband and I stayed for 6 nights. The service is impeccable. So polite and friendly. We did the prepaid breakfast buffet which was a good addition. The food was very good with tons of variety. Loved the omelet station. Dining at Blue is a must. What an experience! The other restaurants are quite good as well. The rooms are clean, tastefully decorated and quiet. The beach and pool are beautiful. There were many families with young children, so the beach is a better option for quiet relaxation. A great location along 7 mile beach and near other good restaurants. Valet parking is very convenient. Definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in Grand Cayman.

As a resident, I joined the sunset kayak tour with a friend who was visiting, and it ended up being one of the best ways I have spent an afternoon here. Our guides, Josh and Merushri, were excellent. They were knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about the environment. Even though I already had a good understanding going in, I still learned a lot, which says a lot about the quality of the experience. Conditions were not ideal, but they handled everything confidently and made it feel completely relaxed and enjoyable. One of the highlights was spotting tiny nudibranchs that we definitely would have missed on our own. Such a cool detail that really made the experience stand out. It was the perfect balance of educational and fun. We learned a lot, had plenty of laughs, and it was a great way to end the afternoon. Highly recommend, even if you live here. It is absolutely worth doing.

This property is truly exceptional. The food was outstanding, and the service was simply unparalleled. Every staff member we encountered was terrific—professional, friendly, hardworking, and accommodating. The consistent warmth and the “it’s my pleasure” attitude in response to every request did not go unnoticed. The staff-to-guest ratio is impressive, and the level of training is evident in every interaction. These are the qualities that make this Ritz-Carlton a true standout. We would especially like to recognize a few individuals who made our stay even more memorable. At the pool and beach, Kemar took wonderful care of us each morning and checked in throughout the day. Shamir was incredibly attentive, always stopping by even when we weren’t in his section. Barnaby was consistently helpful and pleasant, and Willy—“the hugger”—was as warm and friendly as could be. Chyu, Michael, and Sherton also provided excellent service poolside, and Irene at the pool bar impressed us with both her efficiency and her constant smile. Rennie, David, and Amrit at Seven for breakfast, along with Herma at Andiamo, were all fantastic. Rushi, the restaurant manager, made us feel like absolute VIPs, and Sibari, who seemed to be everywhere, was truly lovely. A special thank you as well to Judeen for turndown service (and the ice!), and to housekeepers Chrisena and especially Sweet Joyce for their care and attention. Hudson, our concierge, was also wonderful. We truly cannot say enough about what an exceptional experience we had. Our sincere thanks to the entire staff—you were the highlight of our stay. We look forward to returning.

Truly a lovely resort. Our room was a garden/resort view on the side with reception and the Italian restaurant. While you had to walk past some conference rooms, shops, and an art gallery (hard to explain, but if you go you will understand) to get to the other side, which had another hotel tower, I believe apartments, and the beach, we actually preferred our room side, as the pool there (there are two) seemed more chill and much less crowded. Blue was excellent. We did the tasting menu and wine pairings (a bit pricey, about 1000+ USD for two, they also have a regular menu), which if you are looking to splurge, it is something I would highly recommend. The lobby bar is nice for an afternoon or evening drink. The Italian restaurant and the outdoor one by the beach were great for lunch. Breakfast inside on the beach side was very nice as well. Service all around was absolutely wonderful; whether it was the pool, beach, front desk, bellhop, or concierge, everyone was professional, good at their job, and, most importantly, seemed genuinely happy to be there and interact. The beach had plenty of space, and they have these big floats with netting you can lounge in so you are partially in the water and don't get too hot. Wonderful trip—pricey, but there was certainly value in what you were spending, and we plan to return. Also, a nice feature about Grand Cayman is the island is not completely tourist-dependent, and this economic setup provides other stable, good employment. All the areas we went off resort were safe. We would recommend exploring, as there is a wonderful bar down the block that sells Cuban and also has nice selection of other cigars (fun even if you don't smoke cigars, but if you are sensitive to this, smoking is permitted inside) and some great restaurants off property. Too many to write—ask the concierge or front desk; they were wonderful with tips like that and never steered us wrong.

The best hotel in Grand Cayman (Carribean?) exceeded expectations, once again. There is a reason that people there have been there 3x, 6x, 15x and keep coming back. Why mess with perfection? Whether it is the impeccable service, the beautifully location (the middle of everything, convenient walking to everywhere), the award winning bartender Wasid at Seven (tell him what you like and let him work his magic), this resort can not be beat. Speaking of Seven, tell them it's your birthday and be amazed at how beautifully they sing Happy Birthday to you (it's almost like they have choir practice for it). This is the sort of place that you book your next trip to while you're there.

The service at a Ritz Carlton is always as good as it gets. Nothing beats the high level standard of guest experience that you receive and this location was incredible as it gets. I’m so impressed by their excellent service that I try to bring home just a touch of training to my own business. The beach access is amazing, rooms are impeccable and of course all the restaurants and shops are very impressive.

The fact this is #2 is outrageous! Should be #1!!! We travel all over the world and the low key attentiveness of this Ritz is phenomenal. I love a hotel where people want to wait in you hand and foot but I also want peace and quiet. They did a great job of being there without being there if that makes sense. Tons of free gifts and snacks all day long around the grounds and everything was perfect! Will be back 100%!!!
