My husband and I had 3 great nights at this hotel - perfect location with fantastic views of harbor. We had room 9 on the 3rd floor which is very good size, perfectly clean, and has a large balcony. The staff (Max and Andrea at the desk) were very helpful and friendly. The town is small but this hotel is right in the center of everything and just 10 minutes from airport. We hope to be back some day and highly recommend to anyone visiting San Cristobal!

Lovely hotel by the main pier just a ten-minute drive from the airport. We were allocated room 6 on the second floor, the hotel has no lifts so those with walking difficulties may have a problem. The room had two double beds, fridge, microwave, filter coffeemaker although no milk was provided (it could be purchased from the small café, come shop next door, which was part of the hotel) and no kettle. There was a safe, ample wardrobe space, a TV and the room had both air-conditioning and a dehumidifier. The bathroom had a good-sized walk-in shower with toiletries provided. There was a small balcony with table and chairs which looked out over the bay. Breakfast was served on the top floor where there were great views. Breakfast which was served to you consisted off, coffee/tea, juice, toast and eggs however you wanted them. Outside the room was a small water purifier to fill up your water bottles. The owners and staff were all very friendly and helpful.

The hotel has breath taking views of the Sunset 🌇 The hotel staff was extremely knowledgeable and gave us recommendations on what to do with our time being it was our 1st time in The Galápagos. Alberto the front desk agent gave us great food recommendations and he was spot on. The ownership Susan and her husband were extremely friendly, helpful and pleasant with not only us, but all thier guest. This is a family hotel and a gem of a hotel. It really shows the investment and Love they put into the property. I 100% recommend this hotel as we will be back and staying with them again.

A lovely boutique hotel located along the waterfront, in the heart of town. Beaches, restaurants, shop, tours are all within easy walking distance. Some rooms have a terrace overlooking the water, a perfect place to end your evening and an amazing view of the sunset. The staff are friendly, accommodating and helpful. The hotel itself is clean and well maintained. Breakfast is fresh cooked for you each morning with care and a smile, it’s more than enough to start your day. We had a wonderful time in San Cristobal and would definitely recommend.

The air conditioning was able to keep the heat in check without noise. The hotel's location is ideal, just across the street from the harbor, minutes from the boat pier, restaurants and shopping. Breakfast was served on the roof with an amazing view of the water.

I absolutely loved this hotel. The room was bright, staff cheerful and it had all the amenities I needed. I washed dome clothes out whilst there and found the staff delivered a clothes airer to hang them on. Bathroom was good. Nothing I can fault. Thoroughly recommend.

This is a spotlessly clean 9-room, 4-storey boutique hotel located in the heart of PBM. The staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and well appointed with everything you need for travel. The breakfast, on the top floor open air dining area is not to be missed. Fresh ingredients and delicious fare. Great coffee! Filtered drinking water is available on two floors and beach towels can be obtained from the front desk. The views are spectacular and span across the harbour and waterfront. As the property name suggests, the view of the sunsets from the top floor are something to behold each evening. The hotel is located on Charles Darwin Avenue meaning everything is mere steps away including the two main piers from which ferries and tours embark. Total convenience. Highly recommended property.

We spent 2 nights at this lovely small hotel prior to our cruise. Great location - 10 minute or so walk from the airport, 1 minute walk to the pier for our cruise. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was lovely with a balcony that overlooked the harbour. It is central to everything. The free breakfast was nice. There is a store to the side of the hotel where you can pick up snacks, water, etc.

This is only our first night of three but the welcome and assistance of the client managers (it feels wrong to call them ‘receptionists’) was the finest and warmest of any I have experienced in my 60 years. They discussed the wildlife of the three main islands, shared photographs of te most beautiful sunsets (there is good reason this is called the Galapagos Sunset) and made me feel as comfortable as with friends known for years. Our first impressions are, therefore, somewhat tarnished by the warmth of welcome. The cold facts are that the hotel is spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable and, as noted, has a warmth that can only come from the people staffing the establishment. So far, very highly recommended.

We had an excellent stay at Galapagos Sunset in September 2023. The location is perfect-so easy to get to and from anything you’d want to see on the island. The staff was amazing. Albert was exceptionally helpful in offering assistance organizing tours and activities, and calling lodging in other cities for us. Breakfast each morning was fast and delicious. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great service! The hotel is in a great location in San Cristobal - very convenient and beautiful. The desk staff was very attentive, and highly knowledgeable as they helped us plan several day-trip excursions. We highly recommend Galapagos Sunset and look forward to returning soon!

If we returned we would not hesitate to stay here again. We were in Room 9 on the top floor and had a fantastic view of the harbour area and surrounding beaches, if this room is available book it! 2 minutes to the boarding points for cruise boats and good access to shops and restaurants (we had some excellent meals on the island). The staff were very welcoming and helpful, a special mention to Adelbert, who managed the front desk afternoon an evenings. Adelbert was always willing to help with our planning and a great source of information. The room was very comfortable and kept immaculately clean during our stay. There is a but and we have given the hotel maximum ratings because of the pluses but a few suggestions for the owners: - water pressure in the shower was very low - we have travelled extensively and the breakfast was perhaps not what we expected from this standard of hotel. The staff were great and food we had was nice but some more variety would have been welcome and there is plenty of space for a small buffet. If you do visit San Cristobal we would thoroughly recommend. We stayed here for 6 nights after an 8 day cruise and were apprehensive about whether there would be enough to do on the island but at the end of our stay wished we could have stayed longer. There are some wonderful beaches, great snorkelling, and the sea lions provided endless entertainment and this was a wonderful end to our trip. Thank you to all the staff.

Our only regret is that we were only here for a few days. We loved our visit at the Galapagos Sunset. Perfect location. Just perfect. Our room was on the second floor with a balcony that looks right onto the pier and water. Truly, the cornerstone of the entire port area. Breakfast is service upstairs in an open air rooftop setting. Staff is extremely pleasant and very helpful. If we come back to the Galapagos, there is no doubt we will stay here.
