Stayed two nights at the Double Tree celebrating our wedding anniversary. An over-the-top effort by the staff to help kick things off, very much appreciated. Very spacious and comfortable room with a fabulous ocean view provided a great vantage point to watch the sun go down from the chair set on the balcony. A beautiful five pool terrace has a stairway down to the beach. The kicker was that I brought a laptop to watch the Chiefs game on Netflix by connecting it to the widescreen TV but packed the wrong power cord. Luckily their IT guy had on that fit. All went well on every front. Highly recommend and hope to return someday soon.

Great stay in mazatlan ! We booked a suite on the 17th floor and the views were amazing. Only downside is the wait times of the elevators during prime check in and check out times. Other than that our stay was amazing ! Plenty of local spots nearby walking distance...

Roberto and Geraldine at the front desk were super helpful and accommodating

The pool service is horrible. I wonder if all Gringo’s are treated like this?? I asked one waiter to bring us beers, he did, however never came back. This was yesterday. Today, they walk right past. I wonder if Kathy Hilton would be treated like this??

The hotel has nice modern rooms and three pools on two levels. The standard city view room that we stayed in is comfortable but is the smallest Doubletree room I have seen. We haven’t eaten here so no comment on the restaurant or bars. We are only staying for one...

The hotel has nice modern rooms and three pools on two levels. The standard city view room that we stayed in is comfortable but is the smallest Doubletree room I have seen. We haven’t eaten here so no comment on the restaurant or bars. We are only staying for one night so it’s fine for our purposes. The Internet worked fine for me. I got 38 MB download speed they have free parking outdoors across the street or 100 pesos a night for the inside parking which is limited in quantity. There is a large third-floor public area with seating. Most of the seating showed some wear and discoloration they kind of picked a color that shows dirt.

We are here in the middle of our week stay. Yes, the mattress is shot. Our bath tub has mold around it and the tile floor has mold in the grout, as mentioned in earlier reviews. The pool has mold and rust in the grout. We have been here for...

We are here in the middle of our week stay. Yes, the mattress is shot. Our bath tub has mold around it and the tile floor has mold in the grout, as mentioned in earlier reviews. The pool has mold and rust in the grout. We have been here for 3 nites and this morning is the first time that I’ve seen the pool cleaned. The pool water is cloudy so the chemicals are out of balance. We have yet to have the pool wait staff stop and ask us if we would like anything. The bellman and security out front speak the best English and have been the most helpful thus far into our stay. This property is in dire need of updating to earn the name of Double Tree and earn the money we are spending to stay here. More to come.

The staff is very attentive and polite. They were very helpful with any questions or concerns that you had. The location is on a beach with easy access, and the resort has 4 swimming pools for your enjoyment also. Great place to relax or explore any of the close areas.

Hotel was clean, room was clean, pool area very clean, staff were very accommodating. Great roomy shower with strong water pressure. Our room was roomy. I had 2 80 minutes deep tissue massages and they were great! Location was great. Now for the negative… There’s a Bar next door and...

Now for the negative… There’s a Bar next door and plays very loud beating thumping noises that goes on ever night till 4:30 am. I’m a light sleeper so I barely got any sleep. Had a nice ocean view room, but no lounge chairs on the balcony. Small TV in room, no towel racks in the bathroom. I could deal with all these minor things, but not the noise! If it weren’t for the noise at night from that bar, I stay here again. The bar does not belong to the hotel, so nothing they can do about that, which is too bad.
