We have just returned from this fabulous hotel,we had room 410 Emerald retreat which was a lovely room and serviced every day,on a couple of occasions someone dropped in and turned the covers over and left a chocolate on our pillows, the bed was so large I couldn’t reach my partner,on opening the patio door we were 5 meters from the pool and no problems getting a sun bed, the pool bar was always manned by 3/4 guys who were always ready to serve. We were on B and B,in the morning the restaurant was superb, you name it and it was probably there,a great breakfast.
This has been the most relaxing holiday we have ever had,a big thank you to all the staff I met during my stay, all were very friendly and helpful,we would go back tomorrow

The food was spectacular, and the service was spot on. Our room was delightful with a patio facing the beach area. Room was very clean and well appointed.
I can't say enough about the Staff. Francoise, Marena, and Christina, were all so fantastic. The bartender, Yanni, who was also magnificent, made our stay very enjoyable.
For a nice chill experience, this is a lovely destination.

The Resort is very beautiful with such a history. The room/suite is very nice and modern with this sea view. All the staff us amazing and very helpful, polite and smiling except the guest relations team. When I asked for some recommendations, they never were in the mood to give me all the information. Korifo pool bar has an amazing view and it is perfect for Instagram stories. The last two days we spent the morning there but you have to go early for the sunbeds. Telus was very helpful and gave us so many recommendations. The food especially at Raw is delicious and the staff there and at Verde beach bar very good.
Thank you for everything.

Currently staying at the hotel and sunbathing around the pool….40 mins later there is no one at the bar to serve drinks. Absolutely disgusting service for a 5* hotel! Think they should pay for more bar staff rather than the lifeguard who has taken 4 calls and made herself a coffee whilst ‘working.’ If you want good service stay at another hotel.

This five star hotel certainly deserves a five star review. We stayed for a luxurious 10 days and felt so relaxed and pampered. The large pool perched high on the hilltop is spotlessly clean with panoramic views. The sunbeds are plentiful and very comfortable, and the bar service is discreet yet attentive.
The breakfast buffet was the highlight of my day: delicious fresh fruit and omelettes made to order; freshly pressed smoothies and plentiful coffee. Evening dinners were elegant and well presented. The quiet location and stunning scenery are breathtaking. All the staff are hardworking, polite, friendly and professional. Special mention must go to Francoise who manages this exquisite hotel so diligently. No problem is too small for her attention and she resolved any issues we had with charm and personal dedication.
We can’t wait to return next year to this fabulous hotel.

The setting of this resort is beautiful- on the water in an area away from the large concentration of tourists. The grounds are beautiful as are the main areas, bars & restaurants. Our room (& we were beachfront luxury) are so so. Simple, great storage for clothes. The bathroom is a little dated & awkward to move around & the floor is marble & very slippery when wet. Food is wonderful except for the “special meal” in the main restaurant. We ate the special barbecue- appetizers were good but the meats were tough & less pleasing. Many of the young staff members are wonderful & go out of their way to help you. In summary this is a beautiful resort & many aspects are luxury with the exception of the rooms (at least our room)

We stayed in a beach facing room with a hot tub, with access to the Haute Room facilities - which were wonderful. The rooms were great, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The main lobby features different musicians which was a lovely touch. The beach was good and the pools were cooler but still great for our 5-day trip.
We were on a half board package which meant we could have breakfast and either a dinner or a lunch. The breakfast was great, with everything you'd want/expect from a premium hotel. There are three restaurants for dinner - the main breakfast restaurant turns in to a sit down service, there is an Asian restaurant and a tasting menu restaurant (we didn't go to this one). Our tip is to request two starters rather than have the dessert, that way you can make the most of the best course. The mains typically don't come with any side dishes, and we found some menu options a little bland. We went back to the Asian restaurant and on the last night had the best dinner of the holiday (2 starters of tuna, sashimi and nigiri).
We went off-site for two meals and found the nearby The Village Tavern a great/authentic choice. A day trip to Corfu Town when it rained was nice (a hotel taxi was €55 one-way).

The hotel is located on a beautiful beach, everything is quickly accessible by elevator. That is why it is extremely clean, the food is excellent. The view from the room overlooking the beach is phenomenal. Everyone is very kind and helpful. In this way, I would like to highlight and greet Mrs. who stands at the entrance to the restaurant in the evenings and really brightens up every evening with a smile and the question "how are you", as well as with a few nice sentences that she always addresses to the guest. Any recommendation.

The entire hotel is perfectly air-conditioned. The superior room is beautiful with a wonderful view of the sea and greenery in front of the hotel. It is commendable how much this hotel cares for the environment and how it maintains greenery and flowers. The staff is extremely professional, but at the same time very friendly. Everyone from the maids to the entire restaurant staff who diligently but unobtrusively take away used plates throughout the meal. The reception also deserves all the praise. The employees are very kind and solve everything with a smile so that the guest feels really welcome right from the moment he enters the hotel. The wellness center is excellent. The receptionist at the wellness center is also very kind. It can be seen that this resort is the result of great coordination and hard work of all hotel services.

Absolutely loved the location of this hotel on the beach, but it was about 15 minutes walk from the few shops and bars in the area. Our one bedroomed Suite was fabulous, with proper air conditioning that actually worked! As well as the room upgrade we did get the buffet breakfast included with my status (Ambassador elite). The negative for us was that the food was always cold for breakfast, lunch and dinner, which was a great disappointment. We had to eat breakfast at 7:30am as the restaurant was just too busy otherwise. We did find a car hire was beneficial. Some staff were far more helpful than others.

One highlight of our trip was chartering the Miramaretta for a day trip to Paxos. Our captain and skipper were both incredibly helpful and accommodating, making the experience truly memorable.
The rooms were absolutely stunning, and housekeeping kept them immaculate and tidy every day. We also took advantage of the Pilates and HIIT workout classes offered, which we loved.
For our final night, we had dinner at Makris, and it was an unforgettable gastronomic experience. The pre-fixed menu was one of the best we've ever tried, leaving us completely satisfied.
Overall, Domes Miramare delivered on every promise of luxury, and we would gladly visit again!

My wife and I spent a week at Domes Miramare in September where we experienced changeable weather as we had 2 days of rain and thunderstorms.
We liked the location as the hotel is situated on the beach and the room we stayed had a great sea-view. The hotel is divided in two with one part of the hotel on the other side of a main road which is accessible by an underground walkway. Really glad we did not stay here.
Checking in was quick and easy and once done we were then escorted to our room on the first floor and must say the room was very good but found after the first night it was not cleaned everyday and fresh water was not replenished as expected. We had to ask the concierge to get housekeeping to deliver fresh towels etc which is not what you’d expect for a 5star resort.
Breakfast was very good as it was a buffet and best of all it had an egg station where you could request your eggs to be cooked anyway you like. The omelettes were excellent.
We found the waiting staff to be forgetful as we would ask for tea which arrived ages after our order.
The beach has no sand as it is stoney and feels man made which is not easy to walk on - recommend shoes should be worn especially for swimming. We really liked the sea temperature and on days that it did not rain we loved the calm sea.
Sun-beds are comfortable and have umbrellas that are great if you need shade. You can order drinks and snacks from your sun-bed but beware of the wait times as it took 45mins to an hour for a waiter to arrive.
We were half board so we tried the restaurant “1962” which we looked forward to dining in as the location is excellent right beside the sea but we were disappointed with the menu as the choice of food was not great.
We tried the restaurant across the road in the other part of the hotel called Raw which was Mediterranean/Asia. My wife had chicken which was nice and I had Teriyaki Salmon with luke warm rice which was ok. The view over the bay was nice but ruined by the close proximity to the road.
We ate out 3 nights in the village nearby and would recommend Tassos as the hosts were very friendly and cooked authentic Greek meals.
Overall we would rate the hotel 4stars because of the food choice and poor quality beach surface.

We had a slight mix up of rooms that was efficiently dealt with and after that , can’t fault the place .
1st Impression of the lobby was fantastic! The art and beautiful olive tree ,sets the scene for a relaxing holiday .
We had a suite which was very well laid out some nice individual works of art and even a sun roof that opened up , very cool!
The sunrise in the morning with the back drop of the mountain and ocean was the best I’ve ever seen.. stunning ! Worth the trip alone !
The only 2 negatives I could mention were they maybe need more in House restaurants … the sushi was amazing by the way .
And I wasn’t too keen on seeing cats around the property especially eating my breakfast.
In summary .. a great edition to the domes brand and I’ll definitely be back ..
Oh one last shout out to a fantastic waitress irnie who worked in 1962 and breakfast service .. she is “what good looks like” when it comes to customer service .

Stayed in the Miramare last week in August using reward points. First impressions on arrival were that it gave an upscale vibe, and check in was a pleasant individual experience carried out on the sofa seating rather than at the counter. We were escorted to our room by the customer relations manager who had explained all the details beforehand. We received an amazing room upgrade due to my status, we chose the breakfast as our welcome gift. We had access to the Haute Living lounge during our stay, and there was a bottle of wine, some grapes and a box of Turkish delight in the room.
Overall we had one of the best weeks hotel stays we have ever had, relaxing and indulgent. The staff we met were all very friendly on the whole and helpful.
The room we were allocated was clean bright and luxurious. The pool and jacuzzi were clean and the pool guy checked it out several times during the week, a really nice guy and unobtrusive. We had plentiful bottled water, and new beach towels provided daily. The access to the sea is easy and the water quite shallow for some way out. Initially its a bit stony so beach shoes are a good idea. Garden areas were well kept, and the old olive trees that fill the property were really attractive and illuminated at night. Rooms were made up daily and a turn down service provided, fittings seemed upscale. The only thing i would mention particularly for American visitors s they don't provide facecloths - typical for Europe but not typical of Marriott.
The Breakfast receives a lot of hype, and it is well deserved. I have not stayed anywhere with such a comprehensive and high quality selection as this. we were very happy with breakfast.
Dinner in 1962 restaurant. we had a three course dinner in the restaurant. Food choice and quality was excellent, the baclava was particularly memorable, as was the lamb, both an original take on Greek classic dishes. Service was fast and accurate, we in fact had our three courses finished in just over an hour! staff checked we were happy throughout.
Trips. We decided to use the tour offered to the Corfu old town one evening, this is offered at a rate of 50 Euro per room for a return ride in very upmarket transport (Merc Maybach minibus) was a good chance to see the town, and long enough to look around - for the money recommended.
The resort does not experience sunsets, but experiences sunrises, if you can its worth getting up to watch it rise, every bit as magical as the setting, with it rising above the Greek mainland and Albanian coast across the water.
There is a medium sized gym across the road in the accommodation up the hill, providing everything you could need. On that note, for us staying in the beachfront section of the hotel seemed more inclusive than the remoter upper site.
There are many beautiful Tavernas, supermarkets and shops within very easy walking distance. One Taverna we particularly enjoyed was the Village Taverna - recommended.
The Haute Living lounge has indoor and outdoor seating, sunbeds and a pool and access to the sea. Nice to go for a pre dinner drink. Some snacks and drinks were available throughout the day, spirits in the eve only.
The resort in Aug gets a lot of wasps, as does the whole area, to be fair you will be bothered by them both in and out of the hotel. we had no issues but others did.
This is a lovely resort, and we had a great week, downsides would be attention to detail often lacking, which can get a bit annoying,
A memorable week,

If you want a drink or to book a restaurant? Good luck.
Staff are very polite but with that being said - fairly useless at their actual jobs. But they do it all with a smile on their face which makes writing this bitter sweet, they seem lovely on the most part - I actually just don’t think they’ve been trained. They don’t seem to know anything about the hotel or how anything works.
Ordering a drink? Who knows if you’ll actually get one. It’s taken us between 10 and 45 minutes every time we’ve ordered a drink.
We’ve had 3 meals where my meal has arrived 30 minutes before my partners. We’ve got half board and there is meant to be 3 available restaurants. 1 isn’t open, 1 isn’t included and the other is always fully booked… we’ve had to eat out in the local town which in all honesty - is pretty awful.
Any meal we have had has been inconsistent and different from the previous day. The service we’ve experienced really has ruined a nice hotel. We’ve stayed in Domes Elounda before and would highly recommend this before coming back here.

Restaurant 1962 is the best, although they seem to run out of the limited menu offered later on. No problem, alternative was great.
The hotel is very quiet, which is confusing as restaurants have been difficult to book. It’s most certainly aimed at the older generation, we are in our 50’s although the majority are enjoying their retirement & the place is deadly after 10pm. Which suits some.
The staff are great. Over all enjoyable hotel, would I return - possibly not as the hotel lacks lustre & personality.

Our room was beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable, with elegant design touches that added to the luxurious feel of the stay.
As a sushi lover, one of the highlights for me was dinner at the Raw Bar. The quality of the sushi was outstanding—fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. It was a real treat to enjoy such high-standard cuisine with the sea just steps away.

We have just returned from a 10 night stay at Domes Miramare and there is much to commend this hotel. It is beautifully appointed, elegant and its location a few steps from the private beach is hard to beat.
Having read the glowing reviews from previous years, covering all aspects of the hotel including the amazing food and high levels of customer service, we had high expectations. Sadly, these expectations were not met.
On arrival we received a warm welcome from lovely Alexandra (customer relations) for whom we have nothing but admiration and gratitude for her customer care, and were taken to our Emerald Retreat Seaview Room. However from then on, things began to go wrong.
Having arrived late at around 10pm, due to a flight delay, we had missed dinner, and were offered instead a cold plate. This did not arrive until 11.30pm and consisted of a couple of ham and cheese wraps and some rocket. It was somewhat underwhelming given we’d been made to wait an hour and half for it!
Although happy with our room overlooking the pool and with a lovely sea view, we were taken aback at the sight of ants in the room! Despite housekeeping's best efforts to eradicate the ants, they remained and we were offered and accepted another room of the same standard, thus necessitating a move on day 3 of our stay.
When trying to book a table for dinner in the 1962 restaurant (we were half board), as we had been advised to do on our first full day we were told there was nothing available until 9.30 and that it would be the same for the subsequent evenings!
Thanks to the next ‘stand out’ member of staff we met, the lovely Katrina (hostess), we did in fact get a table for 7.30pm that evening. The menu we were offered was somewhat limited and uninspiring, the service painfully slow, (we had to wait nearly an hour between our starter and main course), and then were brought the wrong dish, a further 15 minutes elapsed before the right dish appeared.
The next day the hotel changed to a buffet style dinner service instead of the A La Carte', which remained in place until the eve of our departure. The choice of buffet meals was again limited and singularly unimpressive. To make matters worse, the food was generally at best only lukewarm.
The final mishap was the reception/kitchen failing to provide us with a breakfast box on the morning of our tour of the northwestern coast of the island which set off at 7am, due to a ‘fridge failure’. It took 15 minutes to provide us with 2 coffees and a few pastries to take away with us, which I had had to insist on!
On a more positive note we enjoyed a barbecue meal and a sushi meal during our stay and massively enjoyed a fascinating masterclass in cocktail making from Iannis, the bartender in the blu bar.
Two further members of staff who deserve special praise, apart from Alexandra, and Katrina, are the hostess Aurelia and Julia the concierge. All four did their utmost to make up for the shortfalls which we and many other guests identified.
In brief, although the Miramare is a lovely hotel, the service and quality of food offered is well below what we had expected of a 5 star hotel.

Domes Miramare Luxury Hotel Corfu part of Marriot Hotel Group.
My previous review was removed so here we go again.
We Monday 5th May, initially arrived to an A La Carte menu, but the staff could not keep up with or had no processes or Standards Operational Procedures for running a restaurant. The restaurant was then changed to a buffet menu.
Menu items spelt wrong “lamb “ was “lamp”
Also dessert was listed as main dish
We were informed on Monday the 12th, that on Tuesday the evening meal was going to be A La Carte and we were told that we had to book a time the day before - this we did. So when I went to reception on Monday evening to book I was told that the only booking for Thursday 15th May 2025 was 21:30hrs. This is too late for us. I have to take my medication early evening & with food so 21:30 will not do. When I asked when could I book our tables for the rest of the week the reception staff told me, I could book now for the rest of our stay. Why couldn’t we have booked them all on Tuesday!! Inconsistency
13th May we had a rather rushed evening meal, we were not in a rush but it seemed that the staff were. Before we had even finished our drinks & had only just put my dessert spoon down when one of the staff cleared everything from the table including place mats whilst we were still drinking. !
Breakfast 14th May
At breakfast today people arriving after us all got a free glass of what seemed to be Bucksfizz…. We did not. Again inconsistency.
This evening we arrived at the restaurant at our allotted time and were told that they wanted us to sit inside, we declined and said we wanted to sit outside. There were at least 6 empty tables outside!!! But some guests were shown to the outside tables straight away !!
Waiting times for food is inconsistent 20 minutes just to be given a menu.
We had to ask for confirmation of our evening meal for Wednesday and that it will be at no later than 18:30. We have had an email confirming Saturday & Sunday & our Italian meal on Friday has been booked at 18:30hrs.
We had our wedding anniversary at the hotel and the staff gave our cake to another table when we had left…..,
15th May
We changed from evening meal to lunch meal and were charged 5 euro for water. But had we eaten evening meal it would have been free.
The hotel advertises that there are sandy beaches, but they are actually stone and shingle until you wade out approximately 5m.
Most of the beach side bungalows have very limited privacy e.g. ours had a private jacuzzi and pool, however anyone was able to look into the decking/pool/jacuzzi area with ease. The fence around the decking is only approximately 3/4 ft high.
If you book a room with balcony check which side of the road it is on as the hotel is split into two separate areas. The western side is a typical hotel with 4 floors, but you need to exit the building and cross the road to get to the breakfast area. The east side(next to the sea shore) has ground floor and first floor small rooms with either balcony or terrace area, or 2 / 3 levels of bungalow. Please google earth the area to give yourself an idea of the layout of the hotel.
The Haute Living only had 2 sun umbrellas, we had to ask for more.
Gin and other spirits were on offer but only had coke, lemonade and orange juice as staple mixers. Some days there was no spirits on offer.
Today 17th May there were 22 people in the Haute living area and outside only 4 sun launchers, 3 sun umbrellas, 10 single seats and 2, 2 seater sofas that were wet because no one took them in before the day of storms and rain. Inside was the usual sofas. Whilst I was sat there a number of people arrived only to leave again because there was no where to sit or had to sit On a low wall and then leave.
However there is this much spare room….even on the other side of the pool
Staff arrived with 4 chairs at 14:50.
We spoke to one member of staff who I helped formulate a CV as the member of staff was looking for somewhere else to work.
There is also another pool area which is fully accessible that is not open. And the Health and Safety is very questionable.
House keeping came and cleaned our room but forgot to leave any cup behind. They even took our own Harrods Cornish green and white striped mugs, which we had to be returned.
You pay an extra Tourist charge on arrival about £170.42. You also get about £1,196.16 blocked off your credit card.
On the 18th we tried to pay for our wine from the restaurant which should be about £30. That’s fine, but we have been told we need to pay for two drinks chits that are not even signed by us, one chit for €5 for water which was from one meal however no other meals have we been charged for water. We have also been charged €12 for the first day we were here and we did not know what that’s for.
We have also found out tonight that we need to pay an accommodation tax which was not pointed out to us when we initially booked the holiday and also not highlighted to us when we checked in and had to pay the tourist tax.
We had to walk away from the reception desk because we had a meal booking in the main restaurant and we hope on our return that the fiasco of our bills and receipts has been sorted out.
After our meal The reception desk told us that they had sorted it all and we only had to pay for our wine which was expected so why all the others?
The stress is outrageous.
The Operations Manager spoke to us again on the evening of the 18th, the evening before we departed and asked what she could do about the situation. We explained that there was nothing she could do as we were leaving early in the morning.
The very large amount of money spent on this disappointing holiday was part of my inheritance and I am totally disgusted with Marriot Hotel Group for making our stay so miserable and I fully regret booking with Marriott hotels.
Marriott Hotel Group, the operating procedures in Domes Hotel Corfu are disjointed and inconsistent. This is from the top to the basic waiting staff.
Who has a Restaurant Sommelier dressed in fatigue blue outfits?
Waiting staff do not know how to lay a table correctly for formal or informal sittings.
Marriott Hotel Group if you want a Secret Shopper/ problem advice, someone who has the minerals to tell it how it is or Health and Safety Director then please get in touch because whoever you have doing it in Corfu needs Sacking.

We had our honeymoon 3 years ago in Crete so we decided to celebrate our anniversary but this time on the beautiful island of Corfu. The Domes was the perfect choice. Absolute 5 star luxury from the moment you step into the opulent reception hall. We arrived late so it wasn’t until the next morning when we fully appreciated the amazing sea views and stunning facilities of the hotel. Breakfast was delicious - buffet style but plenty of choices to cater for every taste. We worked out the best time to get in before the peak time was around 8.30am this also ensured that we had a table on the terrace. The only slight disappointment was that during our stay - dinner in 1962 by the sea was also offered buffet style. This didn’t quite match the 5 star experience with people dressing up for dinner only to be then queuing up for the food offerings which if I’m being completely honest were not always that inspiring and certainly not piping hot. We wondered if the management had received complaints about this as on our last night they had changed to an a la carte service. We were informed the day before that we needed to book a time for dinner but they didn’t have any early slots available and as we were catching an evening flight we had to leave without trying the new menu which was annoying! Despite the evening dinner not being quite as good as we’d hoped for it certainly didn’t spoil the enjoyment of our stay and there so many positives about this hotel we would love to return one day. Fabulous location, super friendly staff, immaculately clean bedrooms and the best omelettes in the world!!

We stayed in a suite with a jacuzzi on the balcony, and honestly, we couldn’t have made a better choice. The view from above is absolutely breathtaking.
The staff went above and beyond,so kind, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The lobby feels like a palace, adding a touch of luxury the moment you walk in.
As for the food simply perfect. A special mention to the Italian restaurant, which was a highlight of our stay.
Thank you to the entire team for making us feel truly at home. We can’t wait to come back!

Hotel is located about half an hour from town and is a really beautiful location. We booked half board and one of the premium rooms so we got to to try all 4 restaurants. Makris was especially good.
The service at the main restaurant could be slow at time but overall great food.
Weather was a bit rainy for a couple of days so we chose to use the spa for those.
There is 2 parts to the hotel and our room type was closer to the beach and we had access to the beautiful lounge.
Every single staff member is very friendly and try to do their best for the customer. I have seen other people post they had a very different experience but I can’t see how. Looking to rebook for next year potentially.

We booked a hotel and flight package with British Airways. Arrived on a Friday afternoon and stayed for a week. Had a couple problems with our room that the hotel resolved but the real problem was trying to book a meal for Friday evening. Hotel has 3 restaurants in which 2 were closed and the one remaining restaurant was fully booked. We were advised to eat at a local restaurant in which the Hotel tried to give us directions but unfortunately being dark we lost our way and ended up eating in a Taverna which took us 20 minutes walk to find. Not a great start. Anyway booked the one restaurant 1962 for the following night and thats where the real problems started. Arrived at our table for 7pm and waiter took our food and drinks order. Drinks arrived in good time but starters took 45 minutes. From where we where sitting in the restaurant we could see there was problems with the other tables. It looked the whole service for most tables had collasped with staff giving incorrrect orders to diners or not receiving their orders at all. Our mains turned up after 1 1/2 hours and we were given the wrong meals. Waiter took our meals back and eventually turned up with right order 20 mintes later. Fortunately they waived the charge for our meal but that was the last time we eat at the resort. We found 2 lovely family run restaurants in the old village about 10 minues walk from the Hotel. Think the problem was casued by the hotel making mass recruitment of young staff that probably had no training, We felt sorry for them as they tried their best but had aboslutely no idea on how to resolve the dining isssues.During our stay we could hear other guests also complaining about the poor level of service. Hotel is in a lovely location but you are very restricted in what facilites are available especially if there is poor weather. As stated in title the resort is classed as 5 star but it has a 1 star service - not great when you pay high premium for your holiday. Will not be going back and will give second thoughts to booking any future package holidays with BA.

The staff were always friendly and helpful, constantly making sure we felt comfortable and had everything we needed. The spa was a really nice bonus – calm, clean, and great for switching off.
The main restaurant could get quite busy, but the food was really good so we didn’t mind waiting a bit.
Our room was comfortable and the whole atmosphere felt very special. Would 100% come back!

Arrived here yesterday to a long and boring check in process and handed a 3 page policy document that would have taken an hour to read
Then after checking in and a 100€ a day held on our card we were advised that all the 3 restaurants were fully booked so we couldn’t eat here and we would have to walk into town absolutely disgraceful so you pay so much money to stay in what’s supposed to be a 5 star hotel to be told you cannot eat in the restaurants and the same tonight so luckily we have a car as the choice in the village is very poor however they have offered us a dinner in a restaurant tonight somewhere but I’m holding my breath
We arrived back from the village to be told by about 7 staff walking around the place the bar was closed so we ended up eventually getting a drink to take to the room
As for the room we booked a “beach front room “
we are upstairs looking at a wall not much of a beach front in my opinion the hotel also stated that they have a gym and indoor pool sauna etc in the description they have clearly forgot to mention that these facilities are in another building there other hotel across the road and they pool is 25€ for 90 minutes. We went down for breakfast this morning and left the do not disturb on the room as we wanted to tidy up and put away some belongings before the cleaner came in this was completely ignored as the bed was made up when we returned
We want to check out and they have basically washed there hands of it and said we have to go to booking dot com so we are stuck in this huge monstrosity that has absolutely no character or charm we have had an amazing trip so far and this was our last stop In the past I used to really think the Marriott group had it right this is my second time staying in one of there hotels in a short time and it will be my last

This hotel is in a gorgeous location and we enjoyed our stay but a few minor issues meant that it wasn't quite the luxury experience we had hoped for. Staff are charming and helpful but there are a lot of new staff, who arrived at the start of May, and did not seem quite as efficient as they might have been. Our suite was also a bit disappointing - the room itself was gorgeous but the "sea view" was not a clear view because of buildings in front.

Domes Miramar, 5 Star treatment all the way

The food, on which we had half board was very rich but enjoyable. The hotel gave us a voucher to use external village restaurants which was a brilliant idea, we had a meal in Belle Vista family place with traditional Greek food.
Well done Marriot Group, great places to visit Messhogi, Agios Giogos. Corfu town very good, but very hard to park. We stayed in room 627 Seaview end room, beautiful and quiet.

This has been such a disappointing holiday, with too many food and service issues.
The evening dinner on arrival was buffet with very limited choice which was cold or lukewarm at best. It then changed to a la carte again the choices were limited and all our meals came barely warm. At breakfast I witnessed the scrambled eggs being changed they brought out a fresh batch and just mixed it with the old batch which had been there some time, same with poached and fried eggs. The service was the worst I've had in all my years of holidays, long delays waiting for our food and drinks lots of people complaining and asking for their food to be brought out . The room had issues with a very dirty head board and a duvet that had an old stain on it.
Marriotts website describes the hotel as serene but the hotel was hosting a conference for 3 days during our stay. The delegates dined in the same restaurant as the guests (who were mainly couples) wanting a relaxing dinner we had to put up with speeches, cheering and clapping and very loud music. We were not even informed this was happening in the restaurant so we did not have the opportunity to make alternative arrangements, breakfast the next days was so chaotic and noisy.
Definitely not 5 star luxury.

We have recently returned from a week stay at this hotel. Having previously enjoyed a stay at the Domes hotel in the Algarve we were looking forward to our stay in Corfu.
On the surface this hotel is perfect. The location is ideal right on the beachfront.
We went half board which we totally regret. The quality of the food in all of the restaurants was poor and the service was totally inconsistent. Don’t expect a friendly greeting by the staff which you would expect in a 5 * hotel.
On arrival we were told we would need to make dinner reservations for the week. We were allocated times which were not at all suitable and on 2 occasions ate out in local tavernas as the times allocated were too late. Again, this is not what you expect in a 5 * hotel.
We would return to this hotel but not on Half Board. The food in the tavernas in the old village up the hill is far better and the staff very pleasant. We had an enjoyable evenings in both tavernas we tried. Most of the people eating there were from the hotel.

The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in. Lovely linen and pillows too.
The food served at Makris (included in Haute Living Dine-Around or otherwise additional cost) was devine. Antonino’s was delicious too - amazing Tiramisu !
Food at 1962 restaurant was good overall with a great breakfast and any dinner issues were being resolved by the introduction of A La Carte.
The sea was crystal clear and although the beach was shingle/small pebbles once in the water the sea bed was sand.
The staff are delightful- so helpful, accommodating, kind and friendly.
In particular Camilla, who went above and beyond - thank you so much for my 15 cake.

Great Hotel but from a food and service point of view not 5 Stars

Staff is extremely friendly but in my point of view not properly trained for a five star hotel. So I guess the Management should put more efforts into this....
